[Music] [Music] hello everyone welcome back to my channel if you are new hello my name is v i post now tutorials every thursday and sunday at 8 15 a.m central time getting right into today's video i am starting off by removing my lovely clients design i previously did these on her and no unfortunately i did not record i had a few people ask me but i will recreate it eventually maybe a different version of it so i'm starting off by removing the design using my kiara sky rechargeable e-file i have her at 10 000 rpms and along with that e-file i'm using their coarse carbide five and one bit absolutely love these bits i talk about them all the time they are my favorite but i'm just gently removing that design off as i'm only going to be doing a fill on her nails i did mix this really pretty color for her the last time so i'll be sharing that with you guys even though i'm not showing the mixing part as i had already previously mixed it so i'm going ahead and gently removing the design and i'm also trimming them at this point as soon as i start removing the design i go ahead and ask my client she wants a trim if she does i ask how much and if she doesn't i just go ahead and remove the design but she did request a small trim so i'm going ahead and doing that all at once so i don't have to worry about it later on i basically hold the finger very very sturdy and i go ahead and trim them using my e-file and i'm going to go ahead and repeat that on the rest of the nails [Music] i'm sorry i'm sorry my actions [Music] [Music] so we can start again wanting down a second chance i'm too [Music] selfish [Music] i'm sorry i'm sorry my actions they help me [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so once i'm done removing the design i go ahead and take my hand file and i just lightly file the sides to make sure that the shape is nice and crisp a lot of the time when they do grow out a little bit if you have more of a square design and they want them to be coughing you can go ahead and do that at this point or change the design at this point however i am just straightening them back out she wanted to keep the same shape and i'm just going in lightly on both sides making sure everything looks nice and perfect now we are going to start our prep process i am going to be doing a simple fill so i'm using my kiara sky e file for this step i did put my speed down to 4 000 rpms and along with that i'm using the profiles backstage sanding bands these are their teal color but they definitely have their all new purple ones which i will be showing we're still in the process of moving so they are somewhere in some box in some room but i will definitely be showing those to you guys they're so so pretty super vibrant purple the exact same product just in a different color which i absolutely love their sanding bands they're super fine and they will not cause any damage because they just get the job done without damaging the nail so i'm just going gently on top of the acrylic removing any lifting she might have it's very very minimal as i focus a ton on my prep work but i'm just going in gently around that natural nail as well you want to make sure that you prep the nail properly so that the acrylic adheres very well and lasts the entire time i'm just going again on top of that surface when i have a little bit of thickness on there i just go ahead and switch my carbide bit this helps remove and debulk product for easier removal if you guys focus on using a sanding band it's going to take forever but if you switch back to your carbide bit easy peasy this one is in the rose gold and it is a fine grit now back again with my sanding band i'm gonna be prepping the nail very well trying to get rid of any of that dead skin that might be left around the cuticle area and i'm gonna go ahead and repeat those steps on the rest of the nails so [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] now once i'm done using my sanding band i'm going in with my needle bit i absolutely love this for prep i talk about it in every single one of my watch me work videos but i do think this is crucial and has helped tremendously with my prepping so make sure you guys check these out they are linked in my amazon storefront i have my e-file still at about 4000 rpms i'm just gently going around that cuticle area trying to remove any dead skin that i might have left behind with my mandrel bit this just helps get rid of any excess skin and definitely gets the job done so make sure you guys check these out [Music] [Music] do [Music] do [Music] once i'm done using my needle bit i'm going in with my cuticle ball bit this is going to gently buff off any dead skin from the cuticle without having to nip them off with cuticle nippers i am deeply terrified of them i feel like i talk about this all the time as well but definitely terrified of nipping off some skin so i just use this method it is effective as long as you are careful with it you will not damage the client's skin or cut them at all so i do keep my e-file at 5000 rpms for this step and i feel like at that speed it effectively removes it so definitely recommend this one it is a must-have on my list [Music] do [Music] [Music] so [Music] now taking a lint-free wipe and some swipe i'm going to generously remove that dust off of the nail and i'm focusing more on that cuticle area as that is where i want to prevent lifting the acrylic will perfectly adhere to the rest of the acrylic so you want to make sure you are removing the shine and dehydrating that natural nail so that everything stays put as you can see i am going in with that wipe and cleaning it very very thoroughly [Music] once i'm done cleaning and dehydrating i am going in with my primer this is a triple x bond from not polish i honestly just grabbed this one because it was right there easy access to me both of the primers that i use on my channel are my favorite absolutely recommend both of them they work very very well with all my clients so just a quick little note i'm just going ahead and applying one layer of that first and then i'm going in with the second layer just to make sure everything adheres very well [Music] [Music] [Music] now we are going in with our actual acrylic fill i am using the acrylic brush in the size 12. if you have issues purchasing that because they are currently out of stock make sure you guys check the profiles backstage acrylic brushes both of them are my favorite i flip through them they are both really good quality so make sure you guys check out both products i'm going in with this custom mixed acrylic that i made for her she wanted like a very subtle pinkish white with a little bit of shimmer so for this mixture i did use milky white from not polish along with princess slippers for the pinkish glittery color and i just mixed it until she was happy with the color it definitely looks a lot more pink in person but it's super super subtle and i absolutely love the color it's just so perfect so i'm just going ahead and doing my fail very very quickly super simple you just add a small bead of acrylic up near the cuticle area hold the finger in a downward position gently push up into the cuticle and blend outwards it blends so nicely whenever you have glitter acrylics going on top of existing glitter acrylics it's such an easy process the blend is flawless so i'm just going ahead and gently blending that out and then we're going to be repeating that on the rest of the nails [Music] now i am going to be encapsulating these nails the reason for that is i just want to build up a little bit more thickness on that apex area she likes them very thin and dainty so i do not bulk them up at all i make them very very subtle and thin so i'm just adding a little bit more to create that extra strength for the length of the nail super simple i am using the not polished clear acrylic for this step and i'm going to go ahead and just apply it up near the cuticle area and gently blend down and then i'll be repeating that on the rest of the nails [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] uh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hello [Music] [Music] once everything is nice and dry i am going in with my kiara sky rechargeable e file i have her at about 9000 rpms along with that i'm using the fine carbide five in one bit from kiara sky this one is in rose gold but they have tons of different colors available to choose from for your liking i'm just going in very very gently around the cuticle area and then vertically up and down the length of the nail i'm not removing the product all i want to do is smooth out everything and make sure that it looks nice and flawless [Music] oh is [Music] uh [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] you keep the change keep the change they hate and say we went and changed i stay the same you must be blinded by the lies [Music] we put the legs [Music] recipes i'm going in with my hand file this is a timmy taylor peel and stick file my all time favorite and i'm just going back in on the sides making sure that the shape is nice and crisp i always make sure i go in one last time at the end because sometimes you might have acrylic that spills over the sides makes it a little bit thicker than you might want so always make sure you do a final hand file i'm just going in on both sides making sure that they are nice and even and i do dust off the nails quite a bit just to make sure that i am seeing everything correctly and not only that it just removes that nasty feeling off of your hands and the clients now we're flipping the hand around to look at the nails from the client's perspective this one always gets out of frame when i'm working on a client so i do apologize but i'm basically just looking at the nails from a different view and angle this helps me correct any areas that i might need to fix while squaring off that tip to get the perfect shape now we're cleaning the surface of the nail and prep for our nail art i want to make sure there is zero dust and everything is nice and clean so that my gel paint goes on very very smoothly don't forget to buff your nails i don't know why i never show that but i do use the profiles backstage sponge buffer and they are so good and it leaves everything super super smooth now for this set and our nail art i am using my favorite nail art brush from amazon linked in my amazon storefront we are doing a very simple french design to start off with so i'm using my profiles backstage frosting gel paint in white along with my nail art brush and i'm just drawing out that smile line and then i'm taking my 3d nail art brush drenching that with some white and making it a quicker process i've learned that this saves lots of time when trying to draw on a bigger surface so i'm just going ahead and applying that on the tip of the nail i am going to be flash curing with my little led light from amazon in between nails just to make sure that i don't smudge them i don't ruin them or anything like that now i am taking another 3d nail art brush to do some cleaning off of that nail i'm just using a little bit of swipe on the bristles and then cleaning the area off lightly now we're going to be flash curing for about 10 seconds just so that everything freezes into place and i can move on to the next finger i'm basically going to be repeating that on the rest of the nails [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] now before we get into our actual nailer i am going to be top coating these nails with matte top coat from not polished this is called mattit my all-time favorite it's so velvety and super super matte definitely recommended especially for nail art it makes everything pop so i'm just adding a thin layer of that onto the surface of the nail we're going to be curing that for a full minute a minute and a half sometimes two depending on how much time i have to work with but i decided to top coat them before doing the rest of the nail art because the picture she showed me was completely matte but the nail art was very raised so i didn't want to take away from the raised nail art if i was going to draw that on and then top coat it a lot of the time the top coat will blend everything together so it looks seamless and i definitely wanted it to be nice and raised so you can actually see the design so that was my thought process on that i'm gonna go ahead and top coat the rest of the nails and then we're popping them each in the light for again a minute and a half or two minutes [Music] once the top coat is out of the light we are going to go in with our nail art so i'm using the same nail art brush with the same white gel paint and i'm going to be drawing the little details it's basically little stems with leaves and then just little tiny cute details i'm gonna go ahead and draw that the more paint you use the thicker the nail art will be so keep that in mind if you want it to be nice and raised definitely add a little bit more thickness to that and it will do the trick so i'm going ahead and doing that randomly on all the fingers some fingers i'm doing just one little stem some i'm doing two some i'm doing bigger some i'm just doing leaves it you'll be able to see that throughout so i'm making sure that i am being very careful with this design i know it's really hard to see at this point but you will be able to appreciate it at the end i'm going to be pouring some white raw acrylic powder on here i want to do this just to mattify the gel paint while giving it that extra texture that i want and then i am flash curing that and that's basically the gist of the design i'm gonna go ahead and show you guys the rest of the nails [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] hey [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] hey [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] [Music] this is don't need us for them [Applause] now once i'm done doing the nailer i do pop in the entire hand into the light to make sure that everything is fully cured now i'm going in with my cuticle oil from profiles backstage the one that smells good the one i brag about all the time that melts into the skin yeah that one it is my favorite i'm going in generously around her cuticle area and then i'm taking my fingers and just rubbing it in making sure that it is not greasy looking but that basically concludes today's video i'm gonna be showing you guys a little snippet of how i fix her hands to do the final video and to take pictures so i'm going ahead and adding the cuticle oil onto the other hand as well make sure you massage it in they will appreciate it [Music] all right so i'm taking my little fur named peter and placing that right under her hand kind of propping it up onto my armrest and then i take her hands and position them where i feel will look its best i basically move her fingers however i need them to move and she will adjust she's already a pro at this so that helps a ton i know a lot of the time it can be hard and then once i got the perfect angles i record thank you guys so much for watching i hope you guys enjoyed it and i will catch you guys next time [Applause] [Music] [Music] b
