I remember there being an episode about Louis Braille, and my Mum complaining that the song he sang was terrible. Good times.
I remember watching an episode of this when I was about 3 years old. A really mean Victorian-era dad threatened the magic grandson with a beating when he complained about the breakfast menu. Only men who go to work get bacon; useless children get porridge and they’d better be grateful for it. I was so frightened I cried.
My kids watched this when they were young and I remembered him playing The Crowman in Worzel Gummidge from when I was little. Somehow didn't connect him with Catweazle 'til I just checked IMDB for the spelling of Gummidge. Catweazle used to freak me out!
