I think the chances of the moon landings having been faked are extremely minimal, however if someone asked me to provide proof, I would be stumped. I know we have plenty of evidence but it relies on us trusting the people involved. I have no way of personally verifying the event. And there we have the thinnest sliver of logic that these people cling to, often I suspect to make them feel a part of something bigger than their own lives can provide.
