ladies and gentlemen hey hi how you doing welcome back to the channel thank you so much for stopping by Modern Warfare 3 war zone is officially here the MW3 war zone integration is live and with that today I wanted to give you guys the absolute best settings you want to be using so you can jump in and start frying right away with the most optimized settings you can have so as we get into the details if you enjoy the video if you find it helpful at all do me a favor and drop a like it would be seriously appreciated and if you're new to the channel or if you're part of the nearly 50% of viewers watching who are not already subscribed let's change that cuz every single day I got you covered with all things you need to know about Cod whether it's MW3 war zone news updates meta breakdowns it's all right here so feel free to hit that subscribe button and turn on those post notifications so getting right into the settings menu here obviously we've got a lot of customization to go through between a handful of areas keyboard and mouse versus controller so your various input settings your graphics audio so on and so forth I will leave time stamps to each individual section here on the video so if you need to just quickly jump to one area versus the other you can do so nice and easy the first thing here with keyboard and mouse admittedly this is the most personal preference based section that we have here today because mouse sensitivity your DPI your actual in-game sensitivity your uh look multipliers this is really all preference based some players love having a super low DPI in a higher sense or vice versa so there's no real best option here and same deal for keybinds honestly as well for most of this the one thing that you want to focus on here is having different keybinds for proning and different keybinds for crouching this means that you can basically instant drop shot here with this which makes your life much easier rather than having the same input for both options there both movements there so definitely separate those but other than that basically everything here with keyboard and mouse is up to what is the most comfortable for you now with controller things are a little bit different here there certainly are some best options across the board between aiming gameplay your base settings here initially for button layout I always straight up just play on tactical I do use a scuff controller and I got paddles on the back so that makes life nice and easy being able to melee or drop shot easier uh you know jump shot as well with the paddles there so that helps out a lot but really uh outside of the default layouts if there's not one here that truly fits what you're looking for whether you want to melee with your uh you know thumb stick or use a different button for it I'd just go through and customize your actual button layout here because you can change any of these things to whatever button on the controller that you want which is super convenient so if you want to have something as d-pad up versus you know a different button you can do that so I'd recommend doing that if there's not a preset that fits exactly what you're looking for then getting back into the normal stuff here for bumper ping I always leave this off and I don't personally feel the need to flip L2 and R2 and whatnot uh if you wanted to do this so You' use your bumpers as your triggers and then your triggers as your bumpers you could do so but that's not really like a competitive Strat it's more so level of comfortability there default stick layout vibration I always keep on off it's great for immersion but not great for competitive gameplay play trigger effect if you've got a controller that has haptics I would turn this off as well no point in messing around with that now dead zone input is especially cool this year because we do have this custom testing option here which basically tells you exactly what your dead zone is going to be so in order to test this you want to turn your left stick Min all the way down to zero and your right stick Min all the way down to zero then put the test on you guys can see that right now when I'm not touching my controller everything says zero here but if I start moving my stick around you'll notice that Suddenly It's starts picking up input even though I'm not touching my controller so essentially what you want to do here is see what those numbers are and then turn your mins up a little bit more now I found this isn't exactly perfect like for instance on my right stick in theory I should only have to uh change it up to three but I've bumped it up to around 5 to 7even to stop it from having that slight Glide here and there if I'm using my thumb stick so uh it's close but it's not perfect but it definitely does help you out and then of course you want to turn your left trigger and your right trigger dead zones to zero so you get the perfect actuation there as soon as you press press in now for aiming for sensitivity a lot of this is going to be preference based some players are very good with the high sensitivity or very good with a low Sensitivity I will say though from a competitive standpoint something in the middle ground is going to be your best bet because you're not going to be too fast for long range or too slow for close range 87 for me is a good choice 98 I've also messed around with uh you know from time to time I do like to stagger and have a slightly faster horizontal sensitivity than vertical just because you're looking a lot more left to right in game in general and so you want be slightly higher there whereas vertical is a lot of you know vertical recoil control that's where you're moving up and down the most and you don't need that super high sense for that because obviously you want to be accurate with your recoil control my base sensitivity multiplier I leave as just default here but we'll get to actual custom sensitivities in just a moment vertical aim access I also don't mess with anything on that I keep that all as standard tack stand Sensitivity I keep on one aim response curve type Dynamic this is going to be the most uh you know one to one of what you're doing on your controller feels super Snappy and super responsive this is what pretty much all the pros are going to be using so would highly recommend Dynamic there linear is also decent but Dynamic is definitely the most popular choice amongst the best of the best sensitivity multiplier Focus I keep as one instant for the transition timing on your custom sensitivity for the zooms because for this I go through and I set these all Customs so for what it's worth if you want to type in a specific value instead of having it in increments of five you just have to use a keyboard and mouse but for me my lowest Zoom I like to keep a little bit lower and then I gradually bump it up towards one all the way up to my highest zooms this way when I'm using a Red Dot site or a three time scope I'm going to be a tad bit more accurate because I'll have that slower ads and I'll be nice and easy to track players over distance there so definitely something that I would recommend this will help uh you know fine-tune your aim a lot in game it's a huge tip I can give you in regards to being more accurate now Target aim assist I'd keep that on on a assist type Black Ops still truly is what feels like it's going to give you the most rotational a assist uh you know slowdown there that's definitely cheesy and probably should be adjusted default is also very good for this but it seems like the general consensus is that black ops seems to have the most rotational pickup whether that's Placebo or not it is what it is but between Black Ops and default you really can't go wrong am assist is definitely strong in this game for sure there's no denying that then lastly I keep it on assist for third person correction type then for motion uh sensor aiming I don't mess with any of this this is like the gyro aiming you'd have to mess with this on your own and be super comfortable with that style of game play for this to mean anything to you then we get into game playay and there's a lot of key things you want to focus on here for war zone so automatic Sprint you want to have on ATS it's going to save your thumb sticks and obviously with slide cancelling now back in the game that's going to be a game changer there don't want to Auto move forward ever not a fan of that if you're not using ATS or you do still press in on your thumb stick having single tap Sprint so you can get that tag Sprint right away just on one press is way better than having it as two again you're just saving a thumb stick there grounded mantle off a automatic airborne mantle as partial and then automatic ground mantling as off that Trio there is going to make it so that you're never going to awkwardly mantle something in a gunfight there were a lot of issues in war zone previously where you'd be trying to jump shot in a gunfight and mantle something that was to your side or behind you if you have this Trio of off partial and off that'll stop happening so that's definitely something you want to change there this is an interesting one slide and dive Behavior because there's a couple of different important things here that uh is tricky with controller if you're on keyboard and mouse you're fine here because you can have separate options for uh sliding and separate options for diving or different keybinds that's not a thing yet on controller apparently it is coming according to Sledgehammer though but for this here's what's interesting slide only means that you will never dolphin dive which if you're trying to spam slide cancels is great that's what I've been using in multiplayer here obviously however tap to slide is going to give you the option to just simply tap and get that quick slide you can still slide cancel but if you hold your thumb stick in or whatever your dive button is you'll still dive and and diving in war zone is still pretty important because it's going to give you momentum in certain areas whether you're jumping off a building or a rocky ledge or something to get your parachute going it could also be useful for escaping some bullets from time to time so it's going to be tricky this one is a bit more dependent on how much you truly think you're going to be using the diving mechanic if you're always jumping to parachute somewhere having tap to slide is the way to go if you're never planning on Dolphin diving go for slide only that'll make it easier for that until we get custom keybinds on controller or different inputs to separate diving and sliding it's going to be between those two for war zone plunging underwater I keep on trigger parachute Auto deoy definitely turn this off it'll get you lower to the ground faster anyone who has this on is going to be stuck parachuting you'll be able to loot faster get guns and fry them right out of the gate sprinting door bash I keep on on it's just easier to get through the world that way uh mantle only for my ledge climb behavior and then slide cancel Sprint I initially had this on in multiplayer and something just felt off I went and turned this off and I feel like my slide cancels are way more Snappy now that could be plus sibo but for me it just felt better so I stuck with that for combat behaviors here a lot of this is pretty standard hold for your ads obviously I like changing my zoom with my sprint button uh the equipment Behavior holding that as well for my weapon Mount I go for ads and melee but if you like something else different there go for that weapon Mount exit delay I go for short tax stance is important here so to actually activate the T stance if you plan on using this in your gam playay I would set it to something you're not going to accidentally press in a fight and for me that's ads and down on the d-pad or you could just turn this off entirely if you wanted to if you don't plan on using T stance whatsoever and I have that on on toggle so that when I choose to have it on it'll remain active until I press that input again now for interact Behavior you want to have this on prioritize interact this will mean that you are always going to loot a chest or open a door or something before you are reloading it makes it easier to interact with the world whether it's zipping chest Reviving whatever the case may be there then for armor plates I keep that on apply all you can always interrupt that animation if you need to stop plating up it'll just be easier you don't have to keep spamming your armor button ads stick swap I keep on off directional backpack controls are pretty standard there as well I don't like my weapon switching when I run out of ammo so I keep that on off but that's up to you uh quick C4 detonation you definitely want this you don't have to throw both to detonate you can just throw one and then detonate right away there manual fire is going to be pressed there then the vehicle behaviors don't really matter too much short delay free look and melee there and same deal with the overlay behaviors nothing here is really all that relevant we then get into our Graphics here and there's a lot of important things to take note of because obviously I'm on PC but we're going to be able to see all of these settings that console is going to have plus all the bonus ones that PC is going to have so really pay attention to you know what is meant for what here so you don't get things mixed up but initially with display this is all pretty standard I'd always recommend playing in full screen for the best FPS obviously your main monitor screen refresh rate have is whatever your monitor's refresh rate is there uh brightness is going to be more personal preference based I jump mine up to about 55 and that works well for me other players might need something a little bit brighter there or a little bit lower depending on if you have HDR or anything like that for NVIDIA reflex low latency this basically just depends on your PC's equipment if you have this option uh if you have a CPU that is stronger than your GPU you probably want to go for on plus boost if you have both that are pretty good just go for on like for me uh for instance on this PC I'm running an I9 13900 k and a 4090 so I just have on on since those are both pretty powerful uh eco mode preset I keep on custom and change that away from like minimal or whatever you don't want to have eco mode on uh vsync I always want have that off I personally use a custom refresh rate to Max it out on my monitor so I don't get screen tearing but that's going to be more so dependent on what you're looking for there HDR I keep on off it's not good for competitiveness there and that's basically all the display stuff we then get into quality and this is basically meant primarily for PC but there are a few things in here that you'll see on Console as well so initially render resolution I always keep on 100 Dynamic resolution I keep on off because it's going to make your game look really weird it'll get you some better frames but your quality is going to look weird for upscaling and sharpening I always go for Fidelity cast uh because this is going to help out a ton with visual Clarity it's going to make things a bit sharper make things look a little bit prettyer too in my opinion but it's going to make things stand out a little bit more so I do go ahead and use that over something like dlss not super necessary unless you're playing on like a crazy resolution or anything like that and I use about 85 for that I don't mess with my vram scale Target and then pretty much here this uh everything for details and textures there's not going to be true bests unless I point them out because for a lot of this it's entirely dependent on what your PC specs are if you have a crazy Overkill PC like mine and you want to have a really pretty looking game you can bump a lot of this up to high or to normal if you have a lower-end PC or a PC that's just more mediocre you probably want to have normal and low so you get some better frames in games so while I have what I have here this doesn't mean it's going to work perfectly for you so just please keep that in mind but for texture resolution I keep this on normal decent frames in the game still looks decent same deal with the filter there depth of field please turn this off all around you do not want to to have that on I like high detail quality but that's just for me to have nice gameplay for the videos particle resolution I keep on normal bullet impacts can be useful in some instances so I do keep that on on persistent effects I keep off there Shader quality I keep on medium still keeps the game looking pretty and I get decent frames on demand texture streaming you want to turn this off it's been proven that when you have this on it's going to cause various different stutters and not help with performance there so definitely go ahead and turn that off local texture streaming doesn't matter there if you have that on off as well for uh Shadow and lighting here quality on the Shadows that keep on normal screen space Shadows that keep on low ambient occlusions on both Reflections turn this off it's going to make it easier to see players through water and through glass that's not broken yet you do not want to have that on for competitiveness uh we keep static reflection quality on high for me personally as well desolation just as near it's going to help out with frames there terrain memory medium quality medium I deferred physics quality low weather grid volumes are going to be normal water quality is going to be based around cosics and as we're talking about graphics and looking at things on your screen I feel like this is the perfect Paul Blart mop segue into shouting out my friends over at gamer Advantage you guys always see me rocking the ga frames I mean it when I say this these are the most important part of my Daya day set up more so than the monitors than the you know fancy controllers whatever the case may be these keep me feeling nice and refreshed every single day limiting my eye strain my headaches helping me sleep better at night and they're super comfortable especially under headsets which is something other glasses just don't do so if you ever want to get a pair for yourself they offer prescription and regular lenses plenty different frame options and colorways and codee Immortal gets you a nice little discounted checkout the link for that will be down in the description below we then get into view here and this is going to be widely available for everyone so there are some more Universal best settings for this whether you're on Console or PC for field of view I like 120 but that's a bit overkill for some players maybe it's a little bit too zoomed out anywhere between 90 and like 110 is usually going to be that sweet spot I think a lot of pros play on like 103 or 105 from what I've seen you do want to have affected ads field of view though this is going to help with visual recoil and turn that down a bunch and just make it easier to stay on target I also go for wide weapon field of view it doesn't really do all that much in game it seems like right now it's kind of busted but it does zoom out a little bit more there uh widest feel the view for third person and widest feel the view for vehicles now for camera you want to turn as much of this off as possible do not have World motion blur on do not have weapon motion blur on there is no benefit to this in terms of competitive gameplay same deal with film grain turn this all the way to zero as well for camera shake you want to have both of these on at least you don't want your camera shaking around obviously for visibility reasons so turn those off as well uh third person ads for the transition doesn't really matter too much spectator camera doesn't matter too much if you want to have the all black flashbang as opposed to the allh one you can turn that on I like the allh one though just because if I have it uh turned on here and I get flashed I keep thinking my game crashes cuz my screen goes black so I keep that on off personally now for audio settings here there are some pointers I can give you guys but a lot of this is going to depend a bit more on your audio setup whether you're using a more high quality uh you know setup like mine personally I'm using a full-on preamp a go XLR and then my dt1990 pros and for me with this setup home theater is what makes footsteps and enemy audio stand out the most to me now if you're using IMS that might be something different if you're using like a soundbar or general speakers that might be different if you're using uh you know just base headphones or your monitor's audio whatever the case may be a lot of this is going to differ for me home theater and PC speaker are going to give you the best uh you know range for footstep audio and make that the most obvious and app parent so that's what I've worked with but you may need to test out other things depending on your exact setup there what's a bit more important here is your master volume levels for war zone so base master volume have that at whatever level is necessary to not blow out your eard drums but you can still hear the game music volume for cinematic and gameplay does not matter whatsoever turn that to zero it's not going to give you any Vital Information dialogue volume is pretty important here in war zone especially as opposed to multiplayer because this is going to be things like enemies dropping on your AO it's going to warn you of other things in game whether it's uavs or whatever the case may be so you want to have this loud enough so that you can easily pick it up in the middle of you know communicating with your team or in the middle of a gunfight effects volume is the most important this is going to be footsteps gunfire player movement all sorts of stuff like that you want to have that the highest and then voice chat volume just depends on how loud you want that to be now if you want to have voice chat on go for it you can choose your channels there if you want death chat on choose the last words voice chat and turn that on same deal with proximity chat obviously microphone mode and everything here is just relevant to whatever your setup is turn it up or turn it down as much as you need there subtitles having some of these on can be useful at times certain AI will say something or you'll get certain pop-ups in game that could be useful but that's more so personal preference there mono audio turn this off it's not going to help you there and then reduce tonight's sound turn this on you'll get less ringing from things like flashbangs or stuns or whatever the case may be it's obnoxious in game and this will help tone that down some if you want to have the War tracks or The Jug music on feel free to do so then you can change your hit marker sounds there's no competitive Advantage here I just like the sound of classic personally uh and then that's all of the audio settings now for interface there are a few important things here again it's the same subtitle stuff we just went over there color customization it's actually nice to change some of this in my opinion I like changing neutral to something a bit more bright so for me it's purple this will help out with certain pings or other things in the game that are uh neutral uh colored it'll make them stand out a little bit more so I do like to change that that's about the only thing I personally change if you need to change other colors to see them better though feel free to do that for HUD bounds nothing matters there for mini map shape do not play with a circle mini map especially in war zone multiplayer it applies as well but especially in war zone you just see more out of a square mini map there is zero point in using a circle one I keep the rotation on because I find it easier to call out with that uh crosshairs this is also a super important one turn this on and then turn the center dot on this means that you will always have a center dot on your screen this helps out a ton with aiming better with centering better if you're yying or if you don't have crosshairs up because you're doing something on your screen this will always keep that dot there and keep your aim a bit more precise I leave it at the default size but if you need it bigger you can go for it uh this is a super helpful tip though in my opinion and something that's really helped me as I've got to turn this on in recent uh you know gameplay hit marker visuals you probably want to have those on damage based hit marker shows you like the red for the head shots or the cracks for armor and whatnot player names I always keep on full so I can have that stand out there ingame text chat doesn't really matter on same deal with vehicle prompts as well Telemetry is also pretty important here on Console you won't have all of these but I'd always recommend turning on server latency and packet loss that way you can see what your ping is to the server and if the server is having any packet loss issues or you're having any packet loss issues you can always check that real quick then obviously on PC I like to have the FPS counter up there just so I can see if I'm getting any crazy frame dips or what my performance is like that way I know if I need to adjust any of my settings and go higher or lower for better performance in certain areas everything else here is not really all that important unless you really want to monitor some of that stuff in specific I don't use the connection meter but some people do I don't find that to be super uh useful I do keep the network icons on this will show you in game if the server's got crazy desync or latency or something going on there uh then for menu nothing really matters here turn the gameplay tips off you don't need those probably you can skip the intro I'd do that as well so you can get to the game faster but not a ton of crazy you know noticeable and important things in the interface settings but what we do talk about is pretty important and then lastly for account nothing really matters here all that much but you can import your settings from uh you know MW2 or something if you want to quickly just get the exact same stuff there uh you can do so pretty quick it's it's not perfect some things will be messed up but for the most part it's pretty useful so yeah that being said those are all the best settings you want to be running here in MW3 war zone and that's going to wrap things up if you enjoyed the video or if you found it helpful do me a favor and drop a like on the video it does seriously help the channel grow and if you're new here or if you simply haven't subscribed yet every single day I got you covered with news updates patch notes meta breakdowns all things going on in COD so feel free to hit that subscribe button to stay up to date but once again thank you so much for tuning in and until next time take it easy have an awesome rest of your day and I'll catch you later peace [Music] out
