hello everyone the channel super long videos there condensed in one video split up for those of you who might be new this is a series where we take a look at every vehicle tippity and the tech tree and go over whether they're worth getting considering or avoiding for your lineups just the note this won't be a verdict on whether you should buy or research the vehicle as to be honest you need to unlock most of them to progress but more a verdict on whether you should actually take the vehicle out and play it in addition this series is mainly focused on RB mode but most of the information will be applicable to other modes too they'll also be timestamps in the comments that link to every individual vehicle if you're just interested in a certain tank I'll also briefly cover useful aircraft and ultimately what the best lineups are for the tier and also briefly what talismans I'd recommend to all so before we start I have a bit of a sponsorship to show you all I know one who but it's quite exciting for me anyway after telling down about 40 companies looking for sponsorships I finally found one that I think you guys will actually enjoy and get something from potentially it does have a link to war thunder and that is rage gotcha pranks you know I've actually been very kindly sponsored by schiffer publishing who some of you might have heard of there are retailer for military themed books and very kindly sent me some great examples of what they have on sale at the moment I've been reading this book on the mouths which has been brilliant has lots of rare photos and goes into incredible detail down to literally every nut and bolt I also have these to catch up on afterwards nice I'm someone who likes collecting and reading these sorts of books and hopefully some of you will too there's genuinely something for everyone it's got planes tank ships everything I don't want to fill the segment with lots of force jokes and all that to get you inside but I wholeheartedly recommend you give this site a look and maybe pick up a book or two this hasn't been a script and I haven't been paid to recommend them so I'm under no obligation to say they're good if they're not so you know I'm being sincere when I genuinely recommend what they have to offer they've been kind enough to send me some really good reading material so I'd appreciate it if you guys give this shop a look link in the description anyway thanks for watching this little segment let's get onto the video as always I really hope you enjoy so starting off today in the light tank destroyer line with a vehicle that actually isn't as hanged Astoria the SDK absurd two-to-one this is a light armored car equipped with a fairly unique weapon a squeeze ball cannon basically this fires a 2 point 8 centimeter round out of a two centimeter barrel this gives around a lot of penetration and velocity but in the field it's not amazingly potent it doesn't do a lot of damage and it's fairly inaccurate and the firing platform overall isn't too great either as a three point nine second reload stock which is longer than several proper tank cannons this tier and has a fairly limited Traverse and the gunner bless him doesn't seem to want to actually use the gun shield provided so he's just standing up leaving him very very vulnerable as this car is made up of only two crew if he gets knocked out it's game over the only redeeming factor this vehicle has really is as mobility it's very nimble on an off-road and can sip about the map fairly easily it's a bit hard to control those this thing has a legacy steering model for some reason so if you are struggling to keep it straight I'd recommend buying your key for driver assistance mode this will keep the car driving straight where your cursors pointing which makes it a little bit more stable as for play style the only thing you really have to rely on is your mobility it's fairly impressive it allows you to get to some pretty good spots early in the match and this is really what you should aim to do if you run into an enemy head-on you'll likely lose your gun is very unstable and you basically have no meaningful protection so if you do get hit a close range you'll likely be knocked out in a single hit you're going to want to try and find a sniping spot or a spot somewhat far into the map to cover you'll be faster than the majority of enemy vehicles and if you find a spot watching over a commonly traveled route you'll likely catch a few enemies trundling along completely unaware of you make sure you have an escape route available to you as well as if you start getting fired on or spray with mgs you won't last long so reverse slip out of sight and re-engage a different location thankfully you easily have the mobility to do this additionally when you're engaging enemies try and always aim for the gunner first you don't want to take any fire at all really so try to minimize the enemy's ability to fire back you do have the reload speed to finish them off quickly without them driving away and when you're playing a vehicle as weak as this one it really does pay to be careful so pros very good mobility the cons poor survivability inconsistent firepower and low versatility verdict consider it it's a hard ones have really come to a conclusion with as it's the fastest vehicle you're going to have access to this tier but its potential despite this is still fairly low and it's not really very forgiving or beginner friendly it's a nice vehicle to have just in case you're on a large map and need the extra speed but I only recommend using this vehicle if you're a bit more confident with the game and the maps as this thing only really excels if played in a good position it does have some use as a vehicle to rush caps with but there's a better choice for this a little further down the line next up is the panzerjäger one which is our first tank destroyer this episode it's on the hull of the Panzer 1 and houses a forty seven millimeter cannon and I believe this is the only tank in the game to use this gun currently and what it is it's not too bad it can penetrate 74 millimetres of flat armor or a hundred metres which is enough to cut through all but the toughest vehicles this tier and for the toughest vehicles it gets access to an APC are round that isn't amazingly consistent but does the job well enough this tanks offensive performance overall is pretty good like the previous vehicle it has a 3.9 second reload stock which is pretty good for a cannon of this caliber it's very capable of one-shotting enemy vehicles but it can be a little bit inaccurate at times as far as survivability is concerned it's not very impressive it's open-topped which leaves it vulnerable to artillery and aircraft and armour frontally is only around 14 15 millimeters thick so even a 50 calibre bullets can chew you up a close range it's my ability though isn't too bad it's fairly mobile allowing it to reposition and reach some good spots fairly easily so this tank is about what you'd expect as file to play it it's a bit more versatile than some light tank destroyers but this one definitely achieves the best results hull down at mid to long ranges it can definitely work a bit more aggressively at close range but when you'll stock without any mobility upgrades staying it ranges really what you want to do try and hide your hull as well if possible if an enemy hits your mantle it that likely kill the gunner or the loader but rarely both in a single shot which allows you to retreat to full cover and re-engage when you're repaired if your hull is exposed as a decent chance you'll lose the driver and that's really the last thing you want to happen staying hold down let - somewhat reliably take a hit and survived so this is what I'm to do try and cover some commonly traveled areas of the map you definitely have the firepower and the reload to really lock down sight lines and the panzerjäger does this very well pros great firepower fast reload and decent mobility and the cons poor survivability verdict get it it might not be the most survivable vehicle but you definitely have the firepower to deal with mostly anything you'll meet around this BR which is really useful so it makes for a fairly decent backup for the lower ranks and I would definitely pick it up next up is the 15 centimeter si G 33 BS FL or just the stern Panzer 2 which is a slightly more catchy name this SPG is equipped with a hundred and fifty millimeter howitzer which is absolutely devastating if it hits and hitting is the hardest part this round has one of these slowest velocities in the game the H II shot travels are just 240 meters per second which is very very slow and hard to aim but if your round hits nine times out of ten it will blow the tank up regardless of where the impact is this tank does also get a heat round which can pan 185 millimeters of armor but it's a bit unnecessary and the Hg round will do just fine as you can imagine this vehicle isn't very survivable though most Hanks can easily punch through its frontal armor and the crew are very vulnerable to machine guns from the side and especially aircraft it's not the fastest vehicle either it's about average in terms of speed but it's mobility from a stationary position isn't terrible it can turn on the spot and Rianne go fairly easily which is something we'll probably have to make use of as the traverse on the gun is fairly poor it can only traverse a few degrees and can't really traverse much to the left of the gun at all as that's blocked by the drivers blister there are two ways really to play this vehicle effectively camping at very close range or covering a choke point at a distance a close range the gun is a lot easy to land shots with you don't really need to adjust much at all which eliminates probably the most tedious aspect of this vehicle although playing a close range is a lot riskier you can easily get out maneuvered by light vehicles at close range and you can easily get cos out reloading after you fire this thing stock reload is just under 20 seconds long which is a fairly lengthy time and easily enough time for an enemy to rush and disable you long range is safer but you probably won't get as many kills this way what I'd aim to do is find a choke point and position yourself near some cover also make sure you range find this choke point so that when an enemy appears you know exactly how much you need to angle the gun and after you fire you can retreat behind cover to reload rinse and repeat you can be pretty useful around cut points and arrows like this to remember you just need to hit a tank anywhere to knock them out most of the time so as long as a round connects you should get a kill so don't spend too long aiming so pros overwhelming firepower and decent reactive mobility and the cons poor stability and long reload verdict get it it's never going to be the most functional vehicle in your lineup but it's always going to be fun splashing enemies with this huge Hg round and that makes it a very satisfying vehicle to play it's also constantly useful in an up tier too as you can kill any tank in the game with this round although the higher tiers we want to start aiming a bit more carefully next up is our first reserves here tank the Panzer 3 be quite a recognizable design and definitely a sign of things to come this variant load TF it's here is one of the worst Panzer threes it has 12 millimeters of frontal armor - even heavy machineguns can rip you apart and it doesn't really excel in the firepower department either it's equipped with a 37 millimeter gun that fires a phe and APCR the a Phe performance is fairly poor and you'll likely penetrate a lot of what you meet but that's half the battle the gun handles very badly it has no short stabilizer like the allied tanks and the turret Traverse is terrible at 4.2 degrees a second stock so it's safe to say if you run into an enemy on the move you'll be the one most a disadvantage its mobility though isn't terrible it can reverse decently quick and overall it's not too bad but this doesn't help it though as its turret Traverse and armor is so poor it doesn't have any aggressive advantages that good mobility benefits it's a tricky one playstyle wise this thing works best defensively hull down if possible the turret armor isn't great but it's the best you've got and also considering that a lot of enemies of firing solid shot at you they'll likely penetrate the turret and only knock out a couple of crewmembers allowing for you to back off and repair safely if you lose your engine or driver you're as good as dead really so try to protect them as much as possible out of cover your mobility is the only thing that will keep you alive and also you're going to meet a user hull Traverse to help train your gun on enemy tanks too as you can use the hulls town that are a lot faster than the Traverse alone this is a good habit to get into for a lot of vehicles and even though the slow Traverse is a negative for this tank it does teach you some very valuable gameplay lessons that will become more important as you progress down the tree sorry about how pretentious that sounds if you do find yourself a close-range you're approaching a corner it's a good idea to pre angle your gun if you keep the turret straight and see an enemy around the corner you'll lose vital seconds and having to turn the gun so doing this beforehand is a good way to go in any case try and always head for cover to hide your hull and watch your flanks if an enemy gets behind you that's nothing at all you can do really if you lose the engine there's no way you'll be able to traverse your tyre around in time you might not get the most kills playing this way but it's certainly the most reliable way to stay alive while playing this tank so pros decent mobility the cons poor survivability terrible turret Traverse and low versatility I can't really do a verdict for this one as it's one of the vehicles you start with and you need to use it to get the other vehicles but I'd lose it as soon as possible it doesn't really have a huge advantage over any other tanks and four starts vehicle it's easily one of the poorest examples next up is a painfully similar tank the Panzer 3e very very similar to the Panzer 3 B it uses the same gun complete with the terrible turret Traverse though it does get a couple of superficial advantages chiefly its its had faster it can reach a slightly higher speed offroad though it's still not overly impressive its armor as well as just about doubled out 30 millimeters frontally in all honesty though these changes don't really count for too much everything can still punch through this armor the only thing you're safe from is 50 cals in addition the extra speed can't really be utilized as the e inherits the same abysmal turret Traverse system so although it's better on paper it's not really any better functionally in practice and for some reason this tank is a battle rating of 1.7 when it arguably has the performance of a 1.0 maybe a 1.3 in any case this tank is over tiered a lot of vehicles like this get overlooked in the BR changes as they're quite low tare and not many people play them so hopefully one day it'll be bumped down a tad because of all this it plays basically exactly the same as the 3b the armor doesn't make taking shots any more reliable and the mobility although better is a superficial upgrade and won't really let you push for any better spots like the previous tank try to seek out hull down locations you could argue the turret Armour on this tank isn't awful as on the surface it's 30 millimetres but it does have some extra reinforcement on some spots giving it a potential thickness of 65 millimetres in certain places which a range will be hard to get through for most allied tanks so if you can find a spot like this you could get some decent results but now the high OB ours will likely be fighting in the gun will really really struggle the a phd will have closed the no use of distance and the APCR could get you some kills but it's very very inconsistent so safe to say this tank isn't the most effective vehicle you have access to pros again decent mobility and the cons poor survivability terrible turret Traverse inadequate firepower and low versatility verdict avoid this one it has no functional use really and has next and nothing that makes it worth playing practically over any other vehicle you have access to even if the BR was lowered it would still get outclassed constantly unless it was probably 1.0 to be honest so you're really better off skipping this one next up is another upgrade and this time around it actually is a bit of an upgrade the panzer 3f this is a 2.0 tank with an upgraded gun the short 50 millimeter and performance wise it's very similar to the 47 millimeter on the panzerjäger it's a tiny bit weaker penetration wise but the round does have almost double the explosive filler so if the round penetrates it is going to do a fair amount of damage and likely one shot a lot of the low tier vehicles will come across but sadly it does again inherit the slow turret Traverse of the previous vehicles and the armour isn't really improved much either 13 millimeters on the front and sides with 35 millimeters on the turret because it is again so similar haratz the playstyle of the previous panzer threes although the f is a bit more reliable in this role as the gun performs a lot better the reload is slightly longer at 5.2 seconds stock but this really isn't too bad is the gun when it hits will do a fair amount of damage I won't waste your time by going too far into the play style for this tank as it performs best in the same sort of role as the previous tanks the Terra Drive and armor really hold it back so staying in cover and at range will likely be the most effective way to play because of the extra penetration on the gun you can afford to play that range now the 50 millimeter will be able to deal with most enemy vehicles will come across at the longer ranges and you do have a PC R if you really need it pros good firepower and decent mobility and the cons terrible turret Traverse poor survivability and low versatility verdicts get it this one does actually have a viable use the gun will be able to deal with most of the enemies you'll fight which is a nice change it can of course fight at the closer ranges and brawl but staying hold down and cover is still a more consistent way to play as using it this way almost nullifies its disadvantages which is always what you want to aim to do give it a go next up it's the last off the Panzer 3 to this tier and we're finishing off with the Panzer 3j at 2.3 which again is an amazingly difference to the F but it does get a fairly welcomed advantage and that's a buff to the armor this tank has 50 millimeters of frontal armor on the hull and the turret which means you could play this variant a little bit more aggressively although it's a bit slower than the E in the F and of course still has the hand-crank turret drive this thing's armor isn't great but isn't terrible either and you can utilize it effectively by slightly angling if you angle slightly you can increase the potential side and front armor to around 60 millimeters which is pretty good and considering the drivers port and the mg port and modeled on this vehicle they add even more armor over those areas if you angle this way past around 700 metres or so a lot of the common allied guns can't penetrate you the american 37 british 2 pounder and the russian 85 won't be able to cut through your hull your turret will never be completely immune but even so the armor action does have potential at range a close range you can still bounce some shots of your angled but it's not amazingly reliable for play style again I would stay at range but not necessarily hold down your hull has the most potential armor ways so if anything you want enemies to shoot at your hull if you're a range this works pretty well but again playing defensively you won't see a huge amount of kills you can't afford to play this one of the closer ranges if you're confident with it that you're still very vulnerable from attacks from the sides or rear and you can easily get out maneuvered by the many light tanks running around at this PR it's also important that you look at the BR you're playing at if you're playing against 3.3 tanks you'll likely struggle panning them at range if you are against some tougher vehicles try and find some hull down cover at close range it's no good staying at range of your gun can't actually penetrate anything anyway pros decent firepower decent potential armor and fairly mobile the cons terrible turret Traverse verdicts consider it it's not the easiest thing to play but it does have potential in the right circumstances I'll leave this up to you if you like the sound of this play style or find yourself enjoying any of the previous panzer threes you'll probably like this one too but it is a battle rating where you do have access to some better vehicles you could take out instead of this one there are a lot more effective objectively it wouldn't be a mistake to avoid this tank but if you're confident you can definitely have some good results in it next up is a very different tank the Pandits you see at one point oh this might look like a fairly useless vehicle on the surface but in practice you can get some really good results with it it's equipped with a 20 millimeter also cannon and despite the caliber it can be devastatingly effective against low tier tanks when upgraded when stock though it's not amazingly potent you have ten rounds of the magazine and with the default bail only five out of those ten rounds can do damage to tanks you have 180 round 2 1 AP round and these AP rounds can only penetrate 36 millimeters of armor so when your stock you might struggle but it's worth it to unlock the HVAC belt this is a belt that's full of high-velocity armour-piercing rounds which can penetrate up to 64 millimeters of flower armor which is really good and is the upgrade you should focus on getting as it really does make the Panzer 2 worth playing aside from this its armor protection isn't too bad for 1.0 either you have 35 millimeters of armor on the front hull and 30 millimeters on the turret this won't reliably protect you but there are a lot of angles present which means certain tanks can bounce from time to time it's also worth mentioning that you're quite survivable from being shot in the tarry face this is because the gunner doesn't quite sit front on in the turret he's off an angle and quite low down as an enemy shooting in the turret will likely aim center mass and if they do and they're firing solid shot there's a good chance of gunner will survive aside from this the mobility is pretty good too it can reach higher speeds in the Panzer 3s and turn and reverse fairly effectively as well all in all it's pretty good because this vehicle is so capable it would be somewhat patronizing to try and tell you how to play it as it can just play effectively as a normal vehicle really with no huge quirks to it it works well a close range in mid range and could drive about the map and take out pretty much all vehicles you can come across there are a few things to be aware of though mostly surrounding the gun one thing to always do when playing vehicles or the magazine is to flush it of rounds whenever you knock out a tank that you're fighting if you fire off say seven out of the ten rounds to take out an enemy it's better to fire off the last remaining rounds that you have a full magazine for the next engagement you likely won't need the full ten shots to take an enemy tank out but it's better to be safe than sorry also of note is the slightly longer reload this tank has its 7.8 second stock which is on the longer side for tanks of this be armed so be aware of this and don't get caught out because your shots don't do the most damage internally you're going to want a m-- to crewmembers most of the time always aim for the gunner with your first shot and then just spray around the tank to finish it off if you don't get the gunner at most enemy tanks your face can fire off another two shots in the time it takes you to reload your magazine so it's imperative that you go for the gunner first if the tank of fighting hasn't noticed you you can pretty much easily just spray all over and you're likely secure the kill in any case try not to aim for ammo racks or anything like that and just focus primarily on taking out the crew or engine when your stock though and stuck with the pretty rubbish belts I'd stick with your team and just go for caps and assists even firing an enemy's track will usually get you an assist and after a few games of this you should unlock the aged flat belt so Pros great firepower and good mobility and the cons poor stock grind and long reload verdict get it this tank is great fun and despite the small caliber it has lots of potential you can dispatch most tanks with this in just one clip if you get the hang of it so even if you're up to you can be a real menace to the team this is definitely a vehicle to go for and its really beginner friendly - next up is the Panzer 2f functionally this is very similar to the C but with some slight changes it loses 5 millimeters of armor on the front plate but gains 5 millimeters on the sides of the hull additionally it uses a different gun the same clip size and belts but this gun fires a lot faster at 450 rounds per minute whereas A to C fires at 280 depending on how you look at it this can either be a good thing or a bad thing it lets you fire off your rounds a lot quicker and save some time if you don't spray enough will miss some shots you might not actually be able to take out your enemy in a single burst you'll likely do just fine but it's worth mentioning in any case as you will empty the magazine a lot faster in this tank apart from that there's not really a lot to add as it's just so functionally similar to the C so I would say the play style is basically the same pros great firepower and good mobility and the cons poor stock grind and long reload same as before and the verdict as well get it it's again a very capable and forgiving tank and if you're a newer player these Auto cannons will suit you very very well so definitely go for this one next up is probably a very recognizable tank the Panzer 4c this is the first panzer 4 we have access to and a battle rating of 1.3 it's a very good tank firstly let's go over its firepower it's equipped with a short 75 millimeter howitzer which can fire a Phe and heat both these rounds are good in their own way the a Phe has less penetration but does more damage if it does penetrate and the he has more penetration power but does less damage overall either way they both have a lot of killing power and your reload is pretty good too at 4.3 ii stock it also thankfully has a proper turret drive and could reverse that area over twice as fast as the panzer 3s which is really good the only downside firepower wise is that the gun is quite low velocity and ER the longer ranges this can be quite hard to aim with but it doesn't take too long to pick it up and at close range you won't have any trouble at all it's survivability though isn't overly impressive it's thirty millimeters on the frontal hull and turret with fifteen millimeters on the side basically everything is able to penetrate you but the tank itself is quite roomy so if you do take a hit from an AP round it will likely not take you out in a single hit by in any case this vehicle isn't the most efficient armor wise its mobility as well is about average it's got a top speed of 35 kilometres an hour and it can easily reach this speed offroad so the sort of tank it is it's not bad at all really the main choice you need to think about when playing the 4c is what around to use and finding out what works best for you personally I take a mix of both a PhD and heat depending on the battle rating but ultimately I'd probably recommend the heat over the a Phe as it's just a bit more reliable at certain ranges and against certain tanks the a pH you will struggle a bit so for reliable penetrations that heat is the way to go it will also hold brake certain like vehicles like the bt7 and armored cars etc will blow up if you hit them with the heat so keep this in mind too however if you penetrate with an a Phe round you're almost guaranteed a one shot so it is up to you really if you've got the hang of aiming the gun you'll probably get more kills with the a Phe whatever you choose though I would take a bit of both as for where to play it it's a bit hard to say it's close to being a universally capable vehicle so you can just sort of play it any way you like and it'll be well although I would stick to the closer ranges if possible as the gun can be a bit harder to aim a range additionally a distances the a Phe loses a lot of penetration power too which is something to keep in mind your armor isn't going to be reliable at any range so the best advice I can give is to stay in close courses and try not to be constantly on the move most tanks this tier are equipped with short stabilizers so they can level off their gun faster than you if you run into them head-on if I say shoe though you'll easily get the first shot off not a huge thing as it's often unavoidable but just keep it in mind so pros great firepower fast reload and versatile and the cons poor survivability verdict get it this one is definitely worth picking up it's a lot of fun to use and works and upstairs to is the heat round is going to be effective even against some higher tier tanks the 4c is definitely a great time to have in your lineup next up is the panzer 4 ii which is a decent upgrade to see in pretty much all areas firstly it's slightly faster not by much but it can reach a higher speed which is nice it also gets an upgraded heat round that can pan hundred millimetres as opposed to the 80 millimetres on the 4c but the biggest change is probably the armor which is really good the frontal hull armor is practically doubled it's 30 millimetres with an additional 30 millimeter plate on top this doesn't cover the driver's hatch or the mg port but it's still good protection the sides are also thicker too they're twenty millimeters thick with a couple of sections having an additional 20 millimeters on the upper and lower side sadly though the turret still remains at 30 millimeters which isn't really that great but the turret was never really that strong anyway this is almost like a low tier heavy tank really not quite but it's one of the most heavily armoured medium tanks of the tier and this combined with its mobility and firepower make for a really dangerous machine for starters when you unlock it I'd main the additional heat round when you guess it that's the C round a 2.0 you'll likely see up tears and the lackluster penetration of the a Phe just isn't really going to cut it or this tear the heat though will do just fine and there's nothing that'll be too much of a threat to it you can also get away with slightly angling your armor too if possible I'd angle the mg port side towards the enemy ever so slightly the driver's side has a much larger weak spot so in angling towards the other side most enemies won't be aiming for it if you angle just right you can increase the frontal armor to just under 70 millimetres effective which is really good of course this doesn't hide all the weak spots but a lot of enemies will still be aiming for your hull so this will save you some time anyway like the 4c I'd still play at the closer ranges as it'll be much easier to aim your gun there's not really too much else to add for it it literally is just a Panzer 4 C but bets are in every way so you can play it in a very similar style and get a pretty good result so pros good firepower decently mobile and effective armor cons prominent weakspots verdict get it this tank is a star in cr1 really and has loads of potential it does everything well pretty much so I really recommend this tank definitely pick it up next up we have our first anti-air the flack Panzer one this is a single 20 millimeter on the Panzer 1 chassis the 20 Millett uses is functionally the same ballistically as the cannon on the Panzer 2f though it has slightly different belts a slightly faster fire rate and double the ammo the flat Panzer 1 doesn't have a full h flat belt instead it's just one H for up to one API not too much of a detriment to performance but worth mentioning still survivability as you can imagine is very poor with just two crew members and one of them exposed it's not going to live very long mobility as well isn't overly impressive not awful by any means but largely unremarkable as for play style it's fairly adaptable as we've covered already 80 20 millimeter is a very potent weapon and this time around it has twice the ammo with roughly half the reload making the flat Panzer potentially deadly machine though you do need to be careful as it's very very weak if an enemy gets a shot on you first you likely won't survive so this vehicle works great in ambush your gun doesn't have a short stabilizer so you can be caught out if you run into an enemy on the move try to find a spot and cover around a commonly traveled area you have a very fast turret Traverse and can lay down a fairly constant stream of fire so as long as you're protected behind cover you can be a really deadly vehicle the key to this vehicle is finding a good spot for it if you have a good idea about where a spot like this could be on any given map it might even be worth playing this as your first spawn it really just does have that much potential and as always all auto cannons don't forget to flush the magazine after firing an enemy as for playing it as an anti-air just try and stay around some lateral cover so that if you're firing up into the sky enemy tanks on around to fire at you while you're engaging aircraft the HT belt does do the most damage against planes but to be honest the armor-piercing belt does do a great job too you'll still knock our aircraft with the AP with a few shots so we don't fancy switching between the belts a lot you could just may the H up entirely additionally when stock you're only really useful against aircraft as the default belt this vehicle gets its 382 one API so you're not going to be that effective against tanks so until you unlock the full ap belt I would just focus on planes so pros great firepower great reload speed and versatile and the cons pause five ability and unimpressive mobility verdicts get it as your first anti-air vehicle this really does tick all the boxes it can do everything expected of it and then some so it's very capable and the must have really next up is our second SP a the flak panzer 38 firepower wise this vehicle is exactly the same as the flak panzer one same gun belts traverse etc the main difference that the 38 has a lot more potential to be aggressive it's a lot faster and more mobile and all fronts and also is a bit more survivable sort of the gunner is still exposed but there's a lot more hull to shoot at and you'll commonly find yourself taking shots into the hull that completely missed the driver and just hit the engine it's additional survivability isn't amazingly reliable but it's definitely a noticeable upgrade aside from the standard SP a play style of staying around lateral cover this thing is actually fairly viable as a conventional tank it has the mobility and the gun is actually fairly stable on the move whereas the flat panzer 1 will bounce around a lot so if you run into an enemy head-on you can just spray them and you'll probably take them out fairly quickly this thing is very good at taking enemies or even groups of enemies by surprise because you don't really need to be pinpoint accurate when you fire you can just drive around and aim generally the enemy and you'll easily cut down their crew without giving them time to react the downside of this vehicle is that it's very long so if you're driving out of cover an enemy can just shoot your driver without you even being able to fire back so if you are poking out of cover to engage the enemy do it by reversing this way your gun comes out first you have a much better chance of actually taking the enemy out also try to passively angle the engine side of the hull towards the enemy if possible this way if an enemy shoots your hull the likely pass right through the hull without killing any crew you might lose your engine but that's really about it and there's also a high chance they'll hit the tract armor on the sloped hull which sometimes causes an on pen which can be very useful pros great firepower fast reload speed decent mobility and versatile the cons poor survivability the verdicts get it it's better than the flack Panzer one in every way really and if you're on a closer range map it can actually be really effective and if you play carefully you can get some really good results it's one of those vehicles that's more high-risk high-reward but it has heaps of potential so it's definitely a must-have next up is our second reserve to your vehicle the panzer 35 t which is a standard tank for low tier really it's fairly average mobility is fine armor as possible and the gun is fine this tank though does have a somewhat unique aspect to its firepower though which could be considered an advantage or a disadvantage depending on how you look at it it comes with two rounds on the surface they're both close to identical but the 3040 round doesn't have a tracer on the shell when it's fired and you could say this makes it harder to land your shot circularly and to an extent this is true but this also means enemies can't see or you're firing from the target you're hitting will of course get a hit markers showing your general direction but any other enemies in the area won't know where their teammate was taking fire from and this can be a huge advantage in combating groups of enemies at a time if you're confident with how to lead your shots I definitely take this round as in the lower tiers you're largely going to be fighting newer players who aren't really going to have the best situational awareness anyway and with this tracer last round you can really take advantage of this all other aspects of this tank though are fairly unassuming you can't rely on your mobility and you can't rely on your armor still need to play to the strengths of your gun this tank can work great an ambush or just on the fringes of combat itself it doesn't have much advantage in the heat of the fight or in heads ahead with other tanks so if you play as sneakily in camp or drive around the less travelled routes you can really take enemies by surprise if you do come across some more heavily armored targets you do have an APC are round that you can unlock to make use of so I'd always take a couple of these just in case pros good firepower and versatile and cons unreliable armor as this is a reserve again you do need to use it but this is the reserve tank I'd main from the start this one does require a little bit of math knowledge to really make use of its advantages but regardless of this you're a decent conventional tank that will work adequately at one point Oh next up is the panzer 38t a quite a famous design and very easy to explain to this tank is basically the panzer 35 t but slightly better in every way apart from survivability which is functionally the same it's a little faster and has slightly more penetration on the gun although the ammo types are the same overall the 38 has about 5 millimeters of extra penetration over all the rounds and that's about it really I'd say the play style this thing has is basically the same as the 35 T although this variant is just a little bit more reliable it's a bit more mobile and has slightly better penetration power though the extra speed and pen isn't really enough to alter how it plays in my opinion pros good firepower decently mobile and versatile and the cons unreliable armor verdict consider it now I'm not saying it's a bad vehicle it really isn't but at one point three where this thing sits you have enough vehicles that perform better than this thing to make a full lineup so there's not really a huge advantage to using it I will say though that if you like the 35 T you'll likely enjoy this one too and if you do it's worth picking up as you do already know how it plays in the grand scheme of things though it's not worth rushing to pick this tank up next up is again much of the same this is the panzer 38t F and it's in a bit of an odd place really it's a 2.0 whereas the a model is 1.3 and the reason for this is that the F has double the frontal armor on the turret face and the hull 50 millimeters and you might look at this and think yeah pretty good but in practice it really doesn't work all that well if you angle it and you're around 500 metres from your target the hull will become relatively immune from most of the common enemy guns we'll start seeing but your gun will really really struggle and because this thing's 2.0 as well that can see a lot of vehicles that will give it trouble the Valentine's scheme' 105 m3 Lee etc which is really going to struggle against even a close range speaking of close range this thing functions basically the same as the a model as basically every round apart from the French guns can punch through this thing's armor and in addition the turret neck as it were is only thirty millimeters thick so it has a constant weak spot I can't hide as well which all but the weakest vehicles can get through so it's extra protection is fairly superficial and doesn't in any way justify a br or 2.0 that's the same BR as the panzer 4 E which is immensely more effective as a vehicle the only thing you have going for you is if you're fighting very weak tanks or players that don't know you're playing the F variant with the extra armor as the a and the aft look very similar which might lead them to just keep firing at your front play and non penning so this thing's success in that respect relies on luck and aspects of the match that you can't control and those points never make for a good vehicle its play style has to be the same as the previous two tanks it doesn't really change up the formula in a meaningful way you still have a stealth round effectively but at 2.0 and above this 37 millimeter cannon just really won't excel at all really there's no use in playing this thing above 2.0 most of the time as other vehicles will just do what this thing can do but better so pros decent potential armor and the cons poor firepower and inconsistent survivability verdict this one is going to have to be and avoid it really there's just no meaningful application for this vehicle the only time it might work will be as a backup later on in the match when I'll be running into weak of vehicles but other tanks you have access to you can do this better anyway this thing you should really see a BR reduction in my opinion it works okay a 2.0 and below but as soon as it starts fighting tanks from the higher be ours it really loses all viability it had so hopefully it'll see a downs here at some point hopefully so lastly for our mainline vehicles is the stewed 3a the first of the famous tank destroyers the a is equipped with a short 75 millimeter howitzer with these same ammo options found on the panzer 4 ii overall it's a pretty solid vehicle on the surface it might seem like it shouldn't works it has no turret and a low velocity gun meaning i'll only excel at the closer ranges and this here with all the light tanks running about playing its heartless TD here can be a dangerous game but the stoop somehow subverts this and actually performs pretty well we've already gone into its firepower so the main things to talk about are its armor and mobility and both of which are fairly good it's equipped with 50 millimeters of frontal armor on the flat glaces but the main advantage is that there are lots of odd angles all over the front of this tank lots of slopes and overlapping parts that mean you can and will bounce a fair few shots from the lower caliber guns the only disadvantage really is for the flat plate that's arguably the easy spot to penetrate protects the driver gunner and Commander all in the line so if you do have low crew vitality or take a well-placed shot you could be knocked out in a single hit it's mobility however is actually pretty good for the sort of vehicle it is the stug is decently fast and reactive in then it can traverse its hull quickly and change its angle which can be very useful for amplifying its armor protection now this is a bit of an advanced tactic in the grand scheme of things but if you're a range or even if you're a close range you can easily wiggle the hull back and forth to throw off your enemy's aim and because of the caliber of gun the Allied vehicles have is quite small at this tier the chance they'll hit a heavily angled piece of armor is pretty high and if you can perfect this you can be a real menace in the stig for play style because of the gun you do work best at close range as far as killing power is concerned but our ranges your armor can actually be really effective if you're not up there too much the low caliber guns will struggle against to arrange especially if you employ the whole wiggling tactic if you are facing a range only really take the heat C round as will keep the effectiveness over the distance additionally because you are a heartless vehicle if you're engaging at range you can cover a wider area without having to move your hull too much which eliminates some of the tedium you can be effective at close range though if you're a bit more confident the aph he'll work well here too your armor won't be amazingly effective as enemies can quite easily hit your front plate in close quarters but you do have the potential to get a lot of kills if you play a bit more aggressively you have great one-shot potential and a great reload so if you can avoid getting flanked you can definitely get some good results so pros good firepower good mobility and fast reload and the cons in consistent survivability verdicts get it this thing can be a real nuisance when play right and even if you do see up tears the heat round you have access to will always work so it's a good time to have an align up until you reach the next tier of TD first for our premiums this tier is the panzer ii c-dac for the desert Africa Corps this tank comes with some decals and a desert camera as its standard and there's no other differences really it's a functionally identical vehicle if you pick German ground forces your starter nation this is the tank you get it's really good as we've mentioned so it is worth guessing however as a very low tier premium it doesn't really give you a huge bonus to our peon alliance a talisman on the panzer ii c and the tech tree will actually give you a higher our peer award so if you want to save a little bit of g and didn't pick germany as your starter i would just pop a talisman on the regular variant in any case though it is a small amount of g to pick it up so I wouldn't say it's necessary to get it but the potential of having three Panzer twos and the lineup is worth it even if the reward isn't so impressive next up is the NBF said which is short for this word this is the standard low tier multi-turreted premium of few nations have and this one isn't really overly impressive especially regarding the price which is 1750 GE which is quite a lot for a Tier one vehicle the tank itself is fairly interesting and unique though it houses two guns in the turret a short 75 same one that's found on the panzer 4 c with the same ammo and a 37 millimeter which is the same as the ones found on the early panzer threes again with the same ammo a firepower isn't bad but the platform isn't great its Traverse ray is 5.6 degrees a second stock which is just a tiny bit faster than that of the panzer threes also because the guns differ substantially in terms of velocity if you're not engaging at close range getting both of the guns to land on target can be pretty tedious the MGS r has in the turrets on that useful either they have 13 millimeters of penetration max so they can hassle some light targets but overall they're not really worth using and just function of spaced armor really speaking of armor this thing overall isn't great it only has 13 millimeters of armor on the hull front and sides and 15 millimeters on the turret so even heavy machineguns can pose a threat to you it does however have a crew of six which can make it fairly forgiving you can and will take a lot of fire before the enemy eventually brings you down its speed and mobility as well is about what you'd expect from a vehicle this size not really impressive and fairly sluggish this tank only really works at close ranges where both of the guns are likely to land on target the further away you are the harder it is to zero in the guns and even at range nothing is going to struggle to get through your Armour so you're going to want to play at close range where it's easiest to aim the guns and around friendlies if possible you're going to lose your gunner a lot and in the time it takes to get the gunner back you're likely going to take a lot of fire so having teammates around to help you out is going to be really important you're just too large a target to fight on your own additionally if possible angle yourself so that your front machine-gun turret is between you and your enemy this way it basically forms spaced armor between the hull and vital crewmembers most enemies will probably just shoot your turret but it's a good thing to do just in cases it will commonly catch some shots try not to advance too far on your own and stick with the bulk of your team and you should get a few kills so pros good firepower and decent survivability the cons poor armor poor mobility and low versatility so is it worth it well I'm going to say that it's not worth it it's just too expensive and becomes redundant too quickly to really be worth picking up for the price the line and RP bonus you get from playing it isn't too bad for the tier but in any case it's just not really worth all that GE it can be a fun vehicle and if you ever get a big discount on it maybe pick it up that its current price it's just more of a collector's item really next up is a marketplace vehicle the SDK have said 2/3 4/3 known by a few nicknames the stub wagon showed wagon the limp diddly all on account that the gun is very small it's like a clever funny penis joke anyway it's a unique vehicle for the low tier very fast and has all the same ammo options as the 4e at 1.7 which is pretty great I won't go into this one much though as as a marketplace vehicle the limited supply left and it's already at a price where I wouldn't recommend it as a premium it's currently just under 15 gaijin coins which is way too much to buy as a grinder and even for a collector I'd say if it ever drops down to below say five coins if more coupons write it to the market in the future I would pick it up it's a fun little machine that fills the need for a fast aggressive vehicle fairly well despite the lack of turret for now though safe to say it's not worth it keep an eye on the marketplace though as it might come back through an event in the future and if it does I would consider working for it lastly today is the SDK have said 141 which is a pack vehicle it's equipped with a 20 millimeter the same one that's found on the Panzer 2f and it's fairly well protected it has 50 millimeters of armor on the front plate with 40 millimeters effective armor on the tower itself it does have the small section below the turret that's only 15 millimeters thick but apart from that it's fairly well protected it's pretty mobile too and can reach a decent speed offroad so it's a pretty capable machine overall the only downside it has really is the gun depression it only has minus 4 degrees which is fairly poor and makes playing this tank on uneven ground or cresting hills quite tedious that's really the only downside it has though like the flat panzer 38 the gun is very stable on the move so pushing and being aggressive can be quite rewarding the only negative plane this way is the reload is the same as the other pans twos 7.8 second stock in fact this thing basically just plays like a more mobile better armored Panzer 2f and at 1.3 it can be really good it's often considered quite overpowered by the community and to be honest rightly so I'm not so only throws around the term overpowered very much I think is quite reductive but this tank just has so much going for it I wouldn't necessarily say it's opie just very capable and forgiving as long as you avoid uneven ground you can be a match for basically every vehicle you fight apart from maybe the French heavies pros great firepower good mobility and good survivability cons poor gun depression so is it worth it well it's currently on the store for around 7 euros which isn't too bad I'm usually quite harsh and recommending premiums and this one isn't a bit of a tricky place as if you were to put a talisman I'll say the Panzer 4e you'd be earning more RP playing it than you would the 141 additionally it's only tier 1 which means you only use it to research up to tip to effectively however because it's such a potent and effective vehicle I'm going to say that this one is worth it it might not be the best value for money as a product but as a vehicle it really is effective and beginner friendly so if you don't mind spending the 7 euros or get a moderately decent grinder and a very effective vehicle I wouldn't say it's a must-have but it's easily the best option you've got four to one so lastly today are the plains and we're going to start off with the HS 1 2 3 a 1 this is a light bomber with a fairly decent payload for 1.3 it can carry 1 250 kilogram bomb and for 50 kilogram bombs that drop in two sets it's fairly agile and has front facing guns if you encounter any fighters so it's somewhat versatile it's not incredible by any means but it's a good choice for the early tiers next up is the Ju 87 R to the RT you can only carry one bomb at a time but the bomb it gets is a 1000 kilogram bomb which can safely net you a bunch of kills if you can find some enemies huddle together it's a good choice to go for for a beginner as even if you're not too confident with dive bombing you don't need a direct hit to score a kill next up is the Ju 88 a1 all around pretty capable plane decently fast and with a good bomb load this thing can get access to for 250 kilogram bombs that drop individually which is pretty good and gives you a fair amount of potential to cause damage lastly is the Ju 88 a 4 which is a pretty substantial upgrade it's the same speed as the a1 but this variant can carry one 1000 kilogram bomb and one 500 kilogram bomb at the same time which is great you could also carry the 4 250 s in addition to 28 50 kilogram bombs we fancy carpet-bombing it also gets a second defensive mg in the back so overall this one is pretty great and I do really recommend this one so there we are guys really hope you enjoy the video on the screen now are the best lineups that I think you could make for tier 1 Germany as far as talismans go I'd probably recommend either the Panzer 2 CC or the F the panzer 4 e and the flack Panzer and Gepard any of those I think will be really good options they're all pretty versatile and they're all pretty cheap too so I really hope you enjoy the video thank you for getting through the whole thing I know this has been really long and probably a bit serious I just hope you enjoyed it really also sorry if my commentary sounded a bit inconsistent throughout I've been recording for so long today and I can feel my throat giving in and I just know that if I go to sleep and continue it tomorrow it will be completely dead so who I had to get it done today I also didn't record every tank in order so it might jump from like okay audio to me sounding really grumpy I don't mean to be as I can't help it my voice is really inconsistent it's really annoying um yeah thank you for watching and check out schiffer publishing everyone to get some books for christmas or my shop if you'd like to get some stuff on there i've put some books on there myself some old stuff from the 40s like aircraft recognition like raid spotting books and that's kind of thing and also another copy of the tank recognition manual from 1942 that was owned by someone i think from the dan miller armored car heavy cavalry corps i think i'll double check but yeah that's on there too so give it a look if you like and I will stop rambling now and let you get on with your day so yeah thank you very much for watching and I will see you next time goodbye
