Walk Around Of Our Patriot Camper X3 Overland Trailer

hey guys i'm david this is my wife christy we're with no limits overland we're so excited to show you in today's video our patriot camper x3 goes from this to this or this [Applause] the nightlife [Music] [Music] [Music] hi guys christy here with no limits overland we just wanted to show you a little bit about the patriot x3 camper today all the really cool features and why we chose it over some of the other campers and teardrop trailers that we looked at so first of all you'll notice that we put up the walls it doesn't come with the walls but we decided to put them on it's quite chilly here they're pretty easy to put on they just velcro here at the top and if you'll notice they are color coded the panels uh with what side they go on and then they just zip up at the seams i can show you a little bit about how they they go up pretty simple just velcros right here on and they zip right here and then there's a door in the front as you can see one of the fun things about camping outdoors is ironically cooking but it can also be a little bit challenging when you're trying to wash dishes and just prepare your food so one thing that we really liked about the x3 is the fact that it has a pretty large surface area for working off of it's stainless steel it's got nice pullout drawers that you can put your pots and pans and just all your your utensils and gear um the stove is easy to use and has wind guards if you need them and it's got a pantry drawers here and then we added some little baskets to put some things in as well um this is where all the redarc system is located that for your lights and pump and so forth and i'll let david explain all that because all that's the geeky stuff so the x3 patriot comes with a 75 liter dual zone refrigerator freezer you can configure it to either do refrigerator on both sides freezer on both sides or one of each in either side that you would like which i really like because when you press when you push this in this side becomes available in the interior pocket so you can put your creamer in there for your coffee or your morning breakfast or things that you'd like to get a hold of so you can either make it a freezer or a refrigerator here is a place that you can put your dishes and your sponge and your camp suds in this little pocket and this will be a silverware drawer and your sink of course is here and you can drain it from here into a bucket or they provide a cork or you know plumbing long enough that you can if you've got a safe environmentally friendly place to um pull it out so you can do that as well it's fairly simple pretty quick and easy to pack this all away you just pull this down unhook your hose from underneath [Music] take out your stabilizer bar [Music] and pull down here push in pull up here and then push in it's got a nice tight seal on it make sure that it clicks in and unhook your door latch here [Music] and that's it pretty simple before we step inside we'll show you this handy-dandy drawer here when all of this is packed down uh you obviously can't get to what's inside but what's really cool is is you can from this drawer this drawer pulls out and it's pretty big as you can see we've put our clothing in here we just put them in bags just to make it simple and easy for packing then of course you've got a spot here for a couple of extra pieces that you need when you're setting up the trailer but what's neat about this is you can load this up at home with everything packed down and then when you get to your location you can get to these items either from outside or inside the trailer so step inside and i'll show you [Applause] so then as you step inside you'll notice there's a bench here um and then if you open this up then you can get to all of your bags and things that you put inside here so it's really convenient so that you don't have to get out in the cold or the rain if you don't have your awning up so this bench also is for storage and it also has a spot for you to get to all of your fuses down here and of course the batteries are located behind there as well also for storage you have these two places here we have a of a hers and his over here so it's a great place to store all your toiletries and things so that you don't have to pack them each time you can just pack them you know to have we've got some rain gear and so forth in here things that we'll need all the time and then stepping over here if you open up this compartment you can now get to your refrigerator or freezer however you've configured it which is really nice and then over here we opted for the coffee bar area and so it's the pop-up coffee bar and we actually ordered the mixpresso and it makes good hot coffee out of your k-pods or your pods moving over here we have electrical so we have two usbs it does come with a remote for all the lighting we'll have to show you that in another video of the lighting at nighttime it's really neat it's got different lighting up here in here um of course the outside lights up and you can dim that down so the bedding is um it's a little more than a full not quite a queen last night was pretty cold so we also had to use a a heating blanket which is really cool because we can plug it in here and also our sleeping bags this window here completely opens up of course so that you know someone's cooking they can pass you your breakfast or some snacks or whatever it is that you might need there's a table here that folds up so you just unhook it right here and pull this up and pull this over and now you have seating for two to four you can easily get four people in here it also has the capability of pulling this up so if you have a small child or [Music] you can make a little pallet bed there and they also there's an option to provide another piece that goes here to make a full-size bed or bunk for small children there's also a place under here for your shoes or additional gear that you might have that was one of those features i didn't know about until after we got the trailer we have several places that you can store your gear in the side of the trailer here's one right here so here's where we put the walls and the cell kit for the man cave area bags for that [Music] and this is where we just decided to put our tool bag or that just in case [Music] okay and then here this box has really come in handy we've got all kinds of things in here it does have lights um so at night you can see um so we've got our our buddy heaters a little step stool in case we need it um just a variety of things a little messy right now but uh it's just a pretty cavernous uh a box for putting all your your gear in so coming around here to the side you'll notice there's a ladder on this side um it's great having the steps over there to get in take your shoes off and crawl into bed but what if you've got someone already on the other side of the bed and they're sleeping or you've got children in the little bunk area sleeping this is fantastic for getting in without waking other people up tropical rainfly here is really nice because you can you know have your screen down and not get wet and still be able to enjoy the beautiful views which is one reason why we wanted a tent versus a an enclosed camper style so that we could actually really feel like we're in nature and really enjoy all the beautiful scenery and then coming around this way we have uh two propane tanks uh one for the grill and one for the stove um and this one we've already of course got hooked up onto the stove but it just straps in right here this is also where you put in your diesel fuel the diesel fuel runs the rabasco heater that heats the water and a little bit of the tent this here is your shower it's got a long hose for your shower you know to run it out to wherever your shower tint is ours is kind of around the corner there um and what we love about it is you have hot water so no cold showers which is really nice and then it also has a spigot here as well and they do provide the hose for that so that if it is just cold water but that way if you have something you need to rinse off you can do that there without using your water that's in your tanks i'm not sure how many gallons of water this thing holds but i think it's around 33 gallons which is a pretty significant amount for over landing so and of course here's the grill and the extra propane tank here there's one more box here um it's a wet box so what we do is we so far we've put these mats that we bought from patriot camper and fold these up and we'll put these back in here um and if they're wet and dirty it'll be okay it airs out it won't mold and mildew hopefully shouldn't and could be rinsed out so there is lighting outside and inside um this lights up this whole area here at night by just pushing this button here there's ports on the outside and here on the inside as well there's two there we also like the feature of being able to pull up the steps if we need to and just give a little bit more security well you know i'm sure there's probably a lot more features or things that maybe you might have
