from orlando florida family reunion but it's very extra special for me and for my wife jeannie this evening as we're having our own little mini family reunion i'm privileged tonight to have my mother and my father my brothers the five sons of the tribe of joseph and their families all here this evening most of the families here guys come on why don't you come out and join me down front here we've been singing together we have been singing together for 47 years now and it's exciting to have the next generation coming along and this evening four generations are going to perform this next number this is the very first time we've had all of these kinds of people here we like to call this our goodbye world medley because really that's what we're praying for isn't it we want to go home so let's those of you who may not have have had the privilege of hearing them before let me just tell you that this group is a perennial favorite at the national quartet convention and no matter what country they're in or where they perform audiences are moved by their message in song they started in 1946 and it just keeps getting better and better please welcome the palmetto state [Applause] quartet [Music] it was time to rest a moment from the daily old routine then the people started stirring all promotion filled the air something shook that little town you could hear it [Music] everywhere [Music] he told her all she ever did so won't you come and [Music] so they went out of the city they came to meet the lord and he found the living water giving life forevermore so they asked him will you tear it and for two days jesus stayed when they heard what jesus said like the one that they were saying [Music] like [Music] [Music] there's something going on [Music] is [Music] [Applause] is kind of you thank you i never thought i would be getting an offering from dell delker uh that's pretty good thanks wow this is great i um this is one you're gonna have to look on the uh up on the monitor for i think you're gonna have to get in close yeah we'll catch that and this is something that um wherever i go i try to show people this is the little dollar bill and i'm going to show you what my life used to look like with this dollar bill i know it sounds a little odd but i'm going to fold it very small and then unfold it and show you what my life used to look like i'm going to fold it in half and then in half yet again can you still see the dollar bill this is a predominantly english speaking crowd okay no i just want i should have asked earlier i'm sorry and uh that's okay i'm fooling it smaller can you still see it and then this is as small as it gets right here you can still see it okay good at no time will the dollar bill leave your site and at no time will my hands leave my arms thank you it's when i unfold the dollar bill that dell gave me that's when the unusual thing happens because i'm going to turn it inside out they don't believe this but it's true it's inside out i know it's kind of strange it's an inside out i don't know if you can see that there uh yeah thank you this is the part that i don't like to admit but this is what my life used to look like it was all mixed up it was turned inside out in fact the things that should have been inside of my life were actually outside of my life and the things that should have been outside of my life were inside my life i was all mixed up i was all confused until one day four words changed my whole life it's a true story four words and the amazing thing is someone was smart enough to print those four words right on this dollar bill exactly in god we trust one day i spoke with god and i said god i've tried a lot of things in my life to make sense out of my life but nothing seems to work i said if i were to do what the dollar bill says and really trust you with the pieces of my life could you put them together in a way that would make sense to me but that would also make you happy and he said yes now he didn't say yes in so many words but when i began doing what the dollar bill said he put the pieces of my life back together and that really is the honest truth [Music] [Applause] [Music] i have written to the god of my childhood to the same simple faith as a child i once knew like the prodigal son i long for my loved ones for the comforts of hope and [Music] [Applause] my
