further ado i'm marcelita pomoy power of love let's see wish i really am very thrilled for the performance because i think that most of it is going to be in his upper registrar [Music] because this is just celine [Music] it's freaky how much he resembles her hold on [Music] there was a little switch into his head voice your voice is still very light very beautiful [Music] look how beautifully he's diffusing the end of phrases per usual he is starting very very smartly so very low very intricate just very softly but what is really interesting is that even if he adds some volume on he is still able to completely defuse at the end of the phrase i really love how he is switching um between the head voice and the mix it's just really really beautiful sometimes it's seamless sometimes there's a little voice break that is mostly a stylistic choice i really really love this one that was pretty obvious which too much but even the switches are just so gently made even though there may be time [Music] he got ready for that one good job [Music] very long tone and then fixed with the vibrato beautiful [Music] now he started roberto straight away oh my god [Music] he feels so comfortable there it really feels comfortable he doesn't look like he is trying whatsoever like first of all he is opening his mouth it's very relaxed the technique is very well done but the thing is that he just really looks very comfortable there it's just like yeah this is my zone this is not too high for me this is it this is where i feel good we can hear mostly very bright and open a mixed voice and then there are a lot of switches into his head voice which some of them are very obvious and stylistically very obvious but some of them are just completely seamless and it's really really beautiful because it's just adding a lot of structure into the song i genuinely love how he has no problem in calming down like a lot of singers once they start belting and they start to go for the more difficult parts they just have no intentions of slowing down it's just like continuing you know like a chain reaction with him he just goes all in and then like pulls away a little bit just diffuse the phrase really beautiful [Music] [Applause] [Music] learn see he is also using a lot of her phrasing so learn would be like the normal very open phrase would be like on the other side he uses her kind of phrasing so he restricts a little bit and learn where he rolls his tongue a little bit back in his uh throat and it shows a lot the sound of your heart beating [Music] immediately suddenly [Music] [Music] beautiful [Music] good job mice lady i'm so proud [Music] i'm sorry but i'm so living through the song with him [Music] he keeps on doing that he just keeps on diffusing it perfectly so uh retraction is something that uh cylinder and a lot of other singers use a lot and what he did is that he completely nailed the way she does it and just copied it perfectly so he could like really make a very believable impersonation of her now there's one thing to have a tone quality very similar to someone and then there is this other thing where you are able to replicate the technique that they are using and everything that they do to the smallest detail and marcelita is just killing it right now [Music] sometimes [Music] sometimes for the power of life that was very beautiful i'm gonna replay this one tone because he started extremely straight uh he fixed the tone he added a lot of vibrato and then a little voice break in a run down okay well let's listen to it once again [Music] straight up a little a tiniest break in a rundown very beautiful very very beautiful 107.5 really beautiful okay that was a tiny bit unplanned i can tell you know i'm very proud of marcelido uh from one point of view he is just a very good impersonator of uh celine dion but he's not just the dad and he's proven that so many times and i'm just so incredibly happy that he keeps on working on himself and just getting better and better and better not in anyone's else's voice but in his own he's getting better at being marcelito when you perfect yourself to this point um doing someone else's technique you're still learning something you're still learning a lot about your voice about every expression that you are trying to portray it's still someone else's expression but you learn a lot from that the very final build it had just parts it had different layers i showed you that and that is just really really beautiful and there's just a set of skills that you're gonna use in everything in your own expression later last time when we reacted to a beauty and the beast we saw how much he grew and how much he is himself now and like really embracing his uniqueness and um it's just absolutely mind-blowing to see him uh two years ago here and then uh like eight months ago on uh the americas got talent the growth is incredible i'm very proud of him but at the same time it just really shows how much hardworking person he is and i'm so happy that he is rediscovering the most important artist in his life and that's himself so i truly hope that you enjoyed the video if you
