welcome to this week's caddo at the chateau where i'd like to start with a very exciting announcement which is that in the whole history of this channel which actually hasn't been that long has it been a year about a year not even a year even a year we have made twenty thousand dollars for charity yes so we are still looking at which charity to choose for april and may we haven't got the may figure yet but april it's about one and a half thousand dollars if any of you have favorite charities that you would like us to look at then please give us some comments below and we will look through year at la la you'll have it look i i thought we had this because we have a book of this but this is a magazine this is different i'm just going to show you this before reading because um yes it's the love them this is my favorite christmas it's perfect all we need to do is just remove the entire ceiling in this room and we could get a tree that big we will lose your boudoir again maybe we need to put a huge tree in the courtyard yeah that could be fun and all the shuttle decorated i have found a note dear stephanie and lelanders i enjoy your vlog so much and wanted to send along a little christmas cheer as a token of my appreciation for the joy you've brought me and my family this year like everyone else i hope to visit one day once things are more stable in the world while i know you miss your mom and percy being with you i know you are happy there together this christmas season down in south africa i hope you enjoy these small treats recently i visited biltmore house which is about one and a half hours from my home i try to go there as often as possible and hope you'll be able to visit it one day as well girls trip as a result a few of the treats and clothes came from that visit and i sent a long historical book for you all to read as well since this year the house is celebrating 125 years they love christmas as much as i do and all of you do as well so i knew you would have not been seen on keto but she sent them to me and i opened them in private now i've got random bits of cupcake for now like a pirate with a hedgehog i call him herbert herbert the hedgehog herbert hedgehog has a ruby's eyes eyes of ruby this one is to ruby speaking of ruby we have a gift for ruby did i open and give it to him because i'm not sure when he's going to join us again yes he's away again at the weekend yes of course yes this is la landers again we would like to have a little present i think so and it's food oh will they be tilted probably flavor oh my god it's a cocktail shaker right the cocktail shaker with recipes so you twist it round and it actually tells you for negroni it gives you the ingredients and then you can twist it what's that one cosmopolitan it's incredible that's the kind of things that i need because i never remember the ingredients for things now we are sorted and look at the it is fantastic it says spores stephanie may this bring even more glamour to your cocktail corner yeah what is that protected by attack hedgehogs oh that's awesome good luck is in your future uh philip i think you should put that on your cupboard protect your attack hedgehogs i don't think my couple is magnetic i think this is the last one oh there's a little note there for la landers to stay warm this winter enjoy face with this you will use it anyway which would usually be quite difficult to open in summer but it's quite unusual all day today which is why we're inside but there's so many great colors i think everyone should choose their favorite color you choose first no i'll get mine last but i don't mind it's an array of colors philip was wearing his toe socks yes it was each toe was a different color it was an experience which ones do you like i like there you go and which do you like i don't know as well i think the christmas one christmas socks yeah i quite like the idea of christmas i like socks hmm do you want do you want any specific color fillet i think i'm good for socks at the moment i've never had them for winter it's like i'm going for these i don't like these yeah and they're christmassy too yeah yeah these ones sheridan thank you this is incredible all of these goodies i can't believe it and this i think is going to give a lot of inspiration for this year's advent calendar which we really think we should start filming soon just to give everyone a little heads up see we're going to do it differently this year i'm thinking of making the advent videos shorter per day so little 10 minute videos a day and then still doing one weekly chat diary so you still see the weekly life but then just little glimpses in the advent calendar because honestly half an hour a day last incredible last year was a lot for us to film and i think a lot for people to watch okay during lockdown but i'm not sure this year people are going to be able to keep up with that so slightly shorter videos but one a day i have a little box here it came long time ago and we were waiting for the correct person to open it but i think you can open it now because we need him in some way here it's amazing i'm so sorry i know i silver or gold today i think i'm in the other way recently and she says you just got to match different metals it doesn't matter i don't really mix them up really yeah mix metal never she's really into it i've never heard it before but it's a little bit liberating remember my problem with the silver and i mean gold yes no i'm going to from now on you go crazy with mixing them i'm afraid these are far too pretty to be wearing with a hoodie and leggings but thanks jana like i say a bit too delicate and pretty for my outfit today but i really like them thank you really pretty you know i like hoops superman likes them too yeah we i had to wash that this is great because um i've got something terrible to admit that i have bought several fabric masks and each one i lose quicker than the last it's a really terrible habit of mine and not ecologically sound at all it would be anyway you need it you need a mask thank you that's going to be very peaceful now isn't it yes i think the rule in france at the moment is that you have to wear the medical ones the blue paper ones that's why you have which is such a shame because these are so pretty but when we have guests around the chateau this retirement over 10 years ago this is exactly how i imagined them being used wow my method of design and managing the business was to draw sketches and pass them on to my very skilled team to translate into reality i can never stop sketching and i doodled one while watching one of your programs these sketches normally just go into my desk or the bin my wife suggested that you may like to have it the shape is also imaginary and i thought a great border to be appropriate i enclosed the sketch free of course to do with as you please i hope that you enjoy it and are keeping the flag flying in these it's a little nose hang on we're both wearing hedgehog bridges today for that i really like that one it's pretty big i like it a lot yes it's nice it's very messy i like how stylized the curls are it's a bit artistic yeah it is the clothes on that one i think it's porcupine not a hedgehog right what kinds of longer curls they do have but he just got just got a little hedgehogy sort of face he likes it i don't think it's gonna stay on my jumper the thing is that you can damage the jumper yeah this is big you want me to worry for you yes please i can't watch it could you model it yes i can model this i'm modeling everything even the ribbon it's very good fabric it's very snow white i was going to say alice in wonderland oh that works too yes i like both yeah but with the hair can i put likes to spend time in the house and we don't have the heart to tell him to go so i was eating with the bed and breakfast guests in here last night we were eating around the table and spud was just standing inside the room just by the window looking out and just chilling with us yeah so yes we spend a lot of time with spud now i love it well thank you i'm loving all of the boxes you can have a
