back at it again see gentie going to our location to some of the cooler unknown best sites in Haiti and the grapevine dropped quite the grape in my ear about Mosul it's a ranch all the way up way past Kenscoff way past the mountains and by the way we have a drive up to those mountains being released in a separate video so do watch that that that in and of itself is a joy to watch but this episode where you're actually here we have arrived we're standing in front of one of their premier hotels that they have have a bunch of it for you Mnet's this is one of the premier ones here and this is this feels like I'll be honest with you this feels like a natural theme park it is a very large property sits on a few acres and it's really geared towards family engaging folks with nature and just having an all-around good time with with the folks you came with right on a good time knowing that you're in Haiti and supporting something that has been around for going on two decades going on three now [Music] I'm gonna invite Richard Richard come on over Richard how you doing good good good good Richard is gonna be our guide along this trip and you'll be breaking down different things about this awesome place now don't worry Richard you know who got from the currency by Oulu I go with him with lag in emitted by googling you know okay so so first off tell us about the history when when was seems to be a church right you can see the the roof area you can see the back behind us you can see the podium right and you can see the the slight elevation the stage where a marriage would happen or if there was a sort of outdoor event you would see it happening and and as you look at the roof you can see that they're trying to do something different where the roof was gonna be made out of a very green leafy Viney substance I can tell you I can already see the vision and I'm enjoying it so Richard tell me a little about tell me about you know what we're seeing it what are we seeing were we okay well I don't know Trinity 22° nefelpitou Grigio because I don't like this put it in religion Macedonia hotel no bubbly only Christmas every religion parts of CDO monkey up in Mali ect captive Oh Molly c2 canonical Isla if we got a visa Vicki who really won back on ensuing this case on composite Alisa may I put kitchen with this pony put like this how many marriages have happened here how many do you know bump academia penis first appearance degree of UW's it [Music] you came on that challenge and get on a horse if I can [Music] so I'm standing in front of one of the greenhouses here on on the property and this this particular greenhouse is focused on strawberries and then I mean I am tempted I'm tempted just to go kneel down and pull one of these suckers man either delicious and and these strawberries are straight farm to grocery stores these these products here you can find them in some of the larger grocery stores in Haiti giant and deli Mart and a bunch of different other grocery stores and what's so cool about this again these are made in Haiti strawberries made in Haiti and what's cool further we have another another tent a greenhouse tent that has this really cool layered sort of setup that actually is used from reused recycled old gallons that folks you know in Haiti feeling that my Haiti you get your water you have to go and and buy colleague um right these big water jugs and eventually those jugs get hose and they get old and they get they have to get replaced these guys they look for them they they bring them over here and they reuse them in a very cool and innovative way so now how are you creating and using nature but you're recycling on top left that that my friends is awesome and really a great example in case study of what could be done agriculturally in Haiti so towards the end the video we realized the time we spent with the owner Philip V doing and he was going around and explaining us deep in detail a lot of pieces of information about his farm in the particular agriculture part what you can tell is the passion we could not include in this video because it was just too good it was too much information too action-packed so we're gonna do instead of gonna release that video later and so focusing really appreciate and fully take down all the pieces of information he's providing and I'm telling you someone who's looking to get an agriculture very soon I took copious notes and I found it incredibly value-added so make it a point if we can add it at the top somewhere we will once we release it and do make it a point to go watch that video you won't regret [Music] [Music] everything that tomatoes right tomatoes that are just about getting getting to the point of ripeness still ways to go but man I'm telling you I am trying to fight off the urge to rip these things off and put it off so good looks so delicious and it's just for now I'm going to being something like this here in Haiti [Music] [Applause] so what we're looking at here is an artificial lake that they've made for the strict purpose of having a body of water in case you know we have a period and we are having a period right now in Haiti where we have about extended period of drought right and but a place like this with something like this and the in the heart and center of the the ranch you have enough water for you for your further for the poultry enough water for the horses and the cows and certainly enough water for the many different styles of plants that you have available and it's this sort of level of investment that's needed and a lot of different parts not different places and there and it's good to see it with your own eyes and what it takes to make good viable agriculture happen anywhere particularly high up in the mountains like we are here at most up [Music] so we're standing right now inside the poetry section of the ranch and here as you can see they are me you can see an army of of chicken and one of the things they do here is they sell eggs they grab got eggs and also they sell the meat of the chicken so again you have in that this farm truly has an entire ecosystem that uses one part to another and and the again the manure here is also used as part of the fertilizer for the farm so it's just it's just a phenomenal well put together ecosystem that you know is really self-sufficient it's a self-sufficient operation right here turkey gobble gobble [Music] [Applause] [Music] but my bus oh we're here in the restaurant and the restaurant is a phenomenal very rustic experience the view which it's it's reminiscent of I was overclocking you can really even see for miles you can see the ocean from up top we're sitting right here I took a look at the menu it's not that costly it's a very large selection and you know that anything you order that has fruit or vegetables or chicken or pork or anything that sort 80% of the time 90% of the time that food that that stuff you're eating is straight from the farm straight to your table and that that alone is a reason to come to the restaurant to have that full pure natural organic experience you will not go wrong I think we did a pretty good job I hope I've showing you guys what is here at rush once then we have the play part we have an actual hotel right we have food that can be bought on the property we have incredible farm ecosystem that's available for you to partake and take a look at and even grab a leaf or two right and and so I hope I've inspired somebody who is visiting right and has some time on their hands not do the same old same old to actually break the mold your Google rush rush lip montes and make it a point to come it's not very high up in the mountains it's very high up in the mountains but the drive itself is incredibly scenic and you're gonna enjoy and do make it a point we have some other videos about this we have the drive up here and we also have a one-on-one with the owner Phillip Villa and he is going he is in that that section of the video provides an incredible welcome information and so don't miss that and yet until we're back at it again we'll be back at it again [Music]
