After watching this, what comes to mind is that he is very good at marketing himself as some avant-garde thinker. But to be honest, he doesn't make a lot of sense with correlating his inspirations to his design. What I took from this is that he likes a bunch of different things and he wants to implement this ideas into his work. Not always cohesive but he has branded himself as a random dude. It helps that he is part of Kanye's entourage, he saw the opportunity to monetize that relationship and also use fashion for his artistic expression. I looked at his stuff up close and examined the work, its obvious that he is sourcing very high end materials for his garments. The construction is also good quality. Am I a fan of any of his work? No. I don't find it brilliant that he bought a bunch of flannels from outlet stores and printed on them. However, I understand the idea of how that correlates to streetwear's DIY roots. But it was interesting to watch this and understand whats his appeal.
