switched on</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> to guide</font> the pilots down for their first deck landing<font color="#CCCCCC"> in the dark</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> to</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> view if any of</font> the pilots have<font color="#E5E5E5"> been trained in night</font> flying enemies judgment and with empty tanks<font color="#CCCCCC"> they had to do some just could not</font> quite make<font color="#CCCCCC"> reflecting</font> [Music] frantic radio calls gave the pilots permission to land on the first ship they saw one it is said tried to land on <font color="#CCCCCC">them destroyed</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> the planes that got down</font> safely were quickly marshaled from the decks<font color="#E5E5E5"> or thrown overboard</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> to make way</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">for others as planes on the last drop</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> of</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">fuel certainly plan to</font><font color="#CCCCCC"> ban</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> deck</font> accidents were common in<font color="#CCCCCC"> all the</font> operation cost<font color="#E5E5E5"> 104</font> [Music] and next day<font color="#E5E5E5"> widespread Navy's simply</font> ceased to exist as<font color="#CCCCCC"> 1,050 planes</font><font color="#E5E5E5"> two</font> battleships<font color="#E5E5E5"> four carriers and scores of</font> smaller ships<font color="#E5E5E5"> slipped into the blue</font> waters of<font color="#CCCCCC"> the Pacific off Cape engaΓ±o</font> <font color="#E5E5E5">and after the battle back to the</font> American
