hello there humans and uh gabagulians which is my star trek word for um italians this is binding of isaac again i got a little bit um into it yeah and i have a mod now that explains what these things do so i'm not hardcore and uh definitely not cool but it'll it'll make things a little bit easier for me a little bit less painful and i'm gonna go for some unlocks i listen i know i know now that i've done the hush three times thing and i feel very silly [Music] but i'm gonna go for uh some unlocks with eve if possible toot on touch um hang on a second [Music] external we're gonna do a new run because toot on touch is kind of poop also i have um i have dave watching just one dude there it is explosive explosivo thanks dave for helping out uh just to you know give me some pointers because dave's got bitten by the isaac bug as well chance to fire sticky bomb tears this is this is a lovely item of death today's gonna be more uh chill because i'm recording this pretty late and my energy is a little bit low busy long day today [Music] but i'm gonna just try to get some unlocks i i like the sticky bomb tiers they just you have to use them on enemies otherwise they won't explode so if you can get a bomb tear on an enemy then you can open up some stuff but it's it's pretty uh seems pretty random and it won't be as useful for [Music] oh my god for uh for this kind of stuff even though it just worked twice which is kind of nice [Music] oh all right there's a bomb which is good because i saw tinted rock down there all right god yeah legit rocks um i call them legit rocks because uh at one point when i was playing news oh [ __ ] i was playing new super mario brothers wii with my friend paul back in the day when it first came out when we were playing the game you know co-op the goal was to find pipes that you could go down for secrets and paul would say are these legit pipes and i've adopted that since then into legit rocks so and i was calling them legit rocks when isaac was first released like the um the flash version many moons ago also johnny has entered the building hi johnny [Music] i know the viewers are like well vin is streaming to two people yeah that's kind of neat um potato peeler removes one red heart container gives you damage up and cube of meat uh i can't afford this crap anyway um i have a key now so i'm gonna go back for that i'm gonna take a chance on a secret area speed up let's take a look over here and see if we get a secret area [ __ ] i can't tell if my control stick has dead zone because when i use the controller the stick i feel like my character is slower it's weird because this is a brand new controller but when i use the d-pad i go faster it's just a thing i've noticed maybe i'm like do you go slower with diagonals in isaac a friend who plays isaac was also saying that huh uh egg mcmuffin can you can you investigate these bomb tiers are incredible if you don't blow yourself up with them but it's so [ __ ] random like penguin of doom random it really it's hard to it's it's hard to do tears plus shot speed up now i have to go here right that's that's where my next destination is is into these areas okay well i don't have a key so i can't get in there anyway [Music] i had a s'mores donut today and it was stupid it was like excessive it was in uh the manhattan and it was basically fully covered it was a donut fully covered in chocolate with graham cracker on top and bottom also covered in chocolate and in the middle was the marshmallow icing dumb no not krispy kreme really dumb really really dumb but i enjoyed it it was very um um with decadent aka food coma inducing but pretty cool i also found it finally found an elliott smith record today it was either or is the name of the record which is i would have settled with um figure eight i would have gone with um xo basement on a hill even [ __ ] the cursed skull so hard but uh yeah they're not easy those are not easy records to find for some reason i think it's just it's an indie publisher and uh most places i've been to that i searched for that particular artist's vinyl either sold out that day weirdly enough like vintage vinyl in jersey just they were sold out or um oh hey desert [Music] look up speed down oh suck uh either it was sold out that day or they didn't have it for months and they're still in press anyway i found i found one and it was it was pretty pretty good price 20 bucks which i mean some some vinyl are like the the wall pink floyd the wall granted it's a double album like 40 something bucks that's one of the reasons why i also try to keep the red box vinyl kind of affordable a we're not that in demand as a band so i don't you know we don't need to charge premium but even still if i can basically sell those because there's not many middlemen i don't have a label so i can sell them just above cost and it works out pretty well you saw pink floyd the wall vinyl and coals oh dark side of the moon they sell vinyl and coals [Music] [ __ ] know they sell records at target which they also have like limited edition versions i got a pearl jam one there with a special edition like record color and it was it was cool let's fire xxx okay this is a good item now i have egg and bomb tears yeah weirdly enough i don't want dark side of the moon i know everyone has dark side of the moon i just don't see the need i have animals animals is a less i have animals and wish you were here from 1975. that belonged to my mom and those two are like i would love the wall and dark side just to complete the big four because floyd have the four famous albums animals being one of them which i still feel doesn't really get the recognition as much as dark side in the wall but um yeah i wouldn't mind but they're just too damn expensive maybe one day in the future tears turn 90 degrees to target enemies they may have missed huh all right i still don't have a key just keep going the side area you need is deeper down anyway okay [Music] and yes um i will be getting a record player very soon the record player will be upon me i'm gonna need suggestions at some point but i have a couple audio like um audio nerds that i'm friends with that could help me and i'm gonna get something cool and again i'm gonna you know actually when i listen to records on the turntable i'm gonna make sure i just listen to the album like if i need to listen to something while i'm cooking or cleaning or something i'll throw that [ __ ] on spotify but if i want to like actually sit there and listen to an album i will you know do that and also see if the sound quality is different the way people say it is seems like there's a fix a lot of people are having the issue with the controller any controller steam controller diagonal movement binding of isaac rebirth oh this is a common issue well good condition you know for vinyl is important for like old ones especially like i have the neil young on the beach vinyl now thank you viewer that sent that to me um and it looks like it's in good condition like the cover is a little gnarly in one corner like um looks like it was bitten but otherwise the cover is real nice aside from that it's got character and um but the record looks like it was played a few times and kept in good shape but it's not just that it's also the mastering and it's also the production because you can get some really funky sounding records from what i understand that are just not produced well and it can actually make some classic albums sound worse i'm not sure records wear down over time they do they do apparently like 30 to 50 plays there can be some degradation but i don't know i mean i'm not this is still a new thing to me so maybe yeah that was lucky oh this could be good too i need a key it's vital that i get a key right now flight plus one eternal heart huh well that's pretty great save two bombs for the next side area okay i still need a key otherwise um homeboy ain't getting an item a trapdoor to skip the floor 10 chance crawl space um leviathan damage up tears up plus two black hearts why did i just take damage oh [ __ ] i forgot about these things oh goodbye white heart um no i don't trust myself to take that truthfully can't do the battle room let's see can't go in there either that sucks [Music] i mean easy but plus one soul heart tears up makes isaac very small reducing hitbox cool [Music] should i attempt to find the super secret area i mean i have one one chance you already did no i found oh i did you're right i did so then let me try to find the regular secret area which probably is either it probably is up here [ __ ] and these tears can't do oh man [Music] what a bummer missing an item room in isaac is is a very dreadful feeling guppy also tears up is gonna be great for this run meaning more bomb spawns traded a key for a bomb [Music] all right [Music] hmm isaac has even more baby sorry eve has more baby noise he's very high pitched now i'm kind of playing with fire here a little bit now [Music] oh oh god friendship ended with pokemon hearts all fly enemies are friends i got skatoli [Music] well part of me was thinking maybe i shouldn't bomb just use the the god given bombs but i've decided to uh whoa i can do both actually wow this room is a cluster [ __ ] flight helps though pjs plus four soul hearts fully restores your red health that's not a permanent upgrade though [Music] a little bit worried about what this run will be later on if i'm not getting permit upgrades and and missing item rooms and [ __ ] i guess we'll see now was this in anti-birth these mines no right because i played anti-birth a couple times but i don't really remember it very well i know there was um oh i i know there was uh anti-birth had um a cathedral-esque thing and maybe the flooded zone but it's hard to remember and yeah because it's anti-birth plus new content too but i don't know what content is new exactly all i know is that this took forever to come out compared to what i thought when they said they were gonna do anti-birth and make it legit like a rock of me i guess just thought that it would be like a quick thing but they tears are amazing oh look up again [Music] monster hunter update this week digital stream for 3.0 update i'm so behind on my monster hunter i would like to do some recordings of monster hunter as there are still many monsters i've yet to see but i have like hr5 or something and actually i was just on giratitos so what the what barrier is girathatos [Music] is that four leading to five i think that's what that is johnny um was helping me out and we were you know i mean everyone was helping me out but we were all helping each other out but uh johnny what hr are you because you sh did you stream it on your own hr 80 or so [Music] mate when you get into a video game you you get into a video game don't you turns out you did have to do some [ __ ] in the first side area okay desert is hr20 one hunt will shoot you through the ranks oh i guess after a certain point all right well this run i'll just try to unlock [ __ ] with eve and then hopefully later on on my next run we can i could do the earlier areas i just didn't have any keys so i couldn't do it anyway i i kind of have some pretty insane boss killer tears right now normal tier uh tier familiar deal 3.5 damage per tier brother bobby and then there's the um plus one black heart and used before boss fight boss room item will be a devil deal should i go this way no right i don't think you can all right [Music] this is luck right here oh it's the random active item effect dead sea scrolls i guess i can use it every so often it only used one charge i wonder that's that eight volt i have i guess right all right so i can use it every room makes the item better [Music] that's good luck i mean i do have luck four so that's probably nice what [ __ ] hell yeah johnny's ranked 97 in monster hunter rise i saw um legit that's good damage up big fan of that you lose some movement speed though [Music] the movement speed loss kind of sucks [Music] [Music] i have to look for legit rocks oh the game just crashed wow i don't think i've seen that happen in quite a while who am i well damn i'd like to get the sun again because that was useful i wonder if i'll get that rock again too like how i wonder how hard coated [ __ ] leg i was like yeah that that show was just tony dealing with um mommy issues the entire time i chose the polaroid by accident can i still fight satan it doesn't matter now i have to you know we're locked in here i can see forever i thought that was a map reveal you're always fighting satan fellow child of god thank you thank you my brother went to the met again today a couple friends and we were in the jesus wing for a little bit it wasn't there long but the jesus wing and the brooklyn museum had a intense jesus wing as well one winged jesus this one's too yeah that's good cheers uh soul hearts health up wow that luck five is is extremely good i may not be unlocking necessarily the thing i'm going for uh on this run but this is fun it's good good run it would have been even better had i not missed those item rooms earlier also i don't think these the bomb tiers yeah they don't set things on fire they're still very powerful but they're not setting things on fire ah very good that's what i can see from miles is all about you know that that whole bit i do about that i can see for [ __ ] miles the fov thing that's um that's a who song i can see four miles and miles that one yeah yeah i was uh riffing on that song in particular once described as the heaviest song ever written listen to that now and you'll be like wait what it's very quaint to think of that as the heaviest song ever recorded but uh paul mccartney heard that and then he wrote helter skelter as a response because he was like you know i could rush have your him and then he did and then some [ __ ] some [ __ ] thought that helter skelter was about something a lot different than it was well done [ __ ] it was about a children's slide in some park in england that's what helter skelter is it was the name of a slide in a park it just sounds cool and mccartney was like if i'm gonna write this heavy dark sounding song i need a good name well halter skelter sounds cool [Music] i'll keep the dead sea scroll oh yeah take damage nice oh that can give you a yum heart too i forgot about that yeah well that's why i like the once upon a time in hollywood movie the the whole rewriting history thing was was a lot of fun it was very cathartic there's a cut of that movie that removes the charles manson stuff and it's just about some dudes driving around los angeles like hollywood that's really it yeah i don't you know i haven't seen it that particular cut go into delirium oh great lemon mishap that actually kind of worked there's a room in the metropolitan museum of art that looks like symphony of the night it's one of the jesus rooms but it's very it reminded me a lot of like some of the symphony areas regenerate health slowly that's cool yeah like but it was like a lot of stained glass there was like a what looked like a torch at one point i don't think it was but i was like oh if you whip that or hit it with a sword you get hearts and um lots of jesus stuff very gothic very good stuff museums are are great and i always i love the natural history museum but i just have been there too much and you can still like see new stuff like these museums in new york city are huge the one i wish was bigger was the museum of the moving image which has got the muppet stuff and the movie stuff it's kind of small um i've seen everything in that museum i'm pretty sure unless they added new stuff but i mean covet so i don't know but um the met you can just explore forever i still haven't even scratched the surface of that museum i mean i've walked around a lot of it but still there are areas i've not seen and then there's also if you think about it even if you have walked around and seen every area you haven't read everything you haven't really absorbed every single piece of art every single piece of ancient like sculpture there's just so much that you can it's it's wide and full of depth and every every frame is just so dense another health up mental range up luck five is is just phenomenal in this game but yeah i mean the natural history museum is usually my favorite because i like uh animals and i like seeing all the ancient natural history natural history is fun but the metropolitan museum of art is also quite maybe i like it even better these days i'm not sure but i want to start checking out museums in the city and throughout the rest of the city the other boroughs that i are a little bit more obscure because there's there's tons there's the tenement museum there's like i'm sure there's a pickle museum there's just so so many different types of museums that you can go to and learn all kinds of stuff and that's kind of becoming a hobby of mine is just checking out and learning things at museums that and i want to go to a zoo at some point again i haven't been to the bronx zoo in a long ass time and that zoo is cool i've been i was gonna stream pokemon snap tonight speaking of animals but i was feeling isaac a little bit more and i think i'm on my maybe last or second to last stream of pokemon snap so i wanted to uh let it i wanted to let it ride a little bit longer hmm okay thanks for that i guess i do want to fight that mini boss but yeah my next most anticipated game now that resident evil has come out is mario golf what the [ __ ] is that the m museum the museum with two m's and two m's quirky items that typify humanity today today man i don't want to know about humanity today it's just going to be like tweets on a wall it's going to be a tweet and then one's gonna say dan nikki your bobbies [Music] still though maybe um we go to heaven kojima does he put the quotes in his office walls well when i went to the death stranding pop-up thing in chelsea when that game came out there were actually like i don't know if there were tweets but it was just pictures of him with every celebrity he's ever met i think there were tweets too but um it was just a lot of like stuff and quotes and sign like people signing the wall like celebrities that sign things for kojima it was just there it was like a tribute to the fact that kojima is now famous and has worked with famous real hollywood people a big hollywood movie star i show them oh i mean i was just thinking about that pop-up store today and how bizarre it was like they recreated kojima's corridor the one with the ludens thing and uh it was fun listen i may not have loved death stranding i don't i didn't even particularly play very much of it so my five or six hours of experience was sadly not enough to keep me going and uh you know i don't fault people for liking it it just wasn't my thing and some of it did look cool and i liked a lot of the art assets i liked the world i thought some of that stuff some of it was weird like the bug eating i was just like okay all right maybe we don't do the bug eating in the first hour of this game just so i can like understand what i'm looking at we all float down here douglas but um that said a lot of the art assets in the world and the designs of like the suits and the technology in the cities were very cool and that kojima thing the pop-up store had a lot of that and it really actually was very cool and i have a poster a death straining poster granted i didn't get that one framed but it's um you know i have it and yeah it's all right i guess who knows maybe one day i'll come back to the stranding don't hold your breath for that museum of illusions oh where's that that sounds great that's manhattan is it i've never heard of that museum but i actually really want to uh go there now the uh the problem with manhattan is i don't want to take public transportation because it takes longer and it's also kind of scummy right now like there's been some incidents that have been a little bit scary some of which i have friends that have told me about their own personal experiences in public transport and it's been a little scary health down so that and in the smell and the poop and there was the lady that was singing spice girls with her boobs out she was like that was actually kind of hilarious to me i wouldn't if i saw that in person i would just [Music] i would i would have that would make my day 150 times better truthfully because that was [ __ ] amazing but instead of like the fun people like that it's usually people that just like take a nice big [ __ ] on the train or like walk around aggressively and threaten to hurt people like that i don't like a museum of interesting things that's vague all right uh the point i'm trying to make is public transport is not fun and from staten island public transport sucks even more because you have to take a boat so that isn't fun for me and i usually like to drive into the city the parking situation in the city was always terrible but it's extra terrible now and now they do commercial vehicles only in so much of the city up until six or seven pm and that's when the cool stuff closes so that isn't fun and parking is expensive and there's less spots now because there's so many [ __ ] restaurants that have outdoor dining to the extreme and the city lost thousands of parking spots so getting to this stuff and not spending an arm and a leg isn't exactly the f that's that's a challenge let's just say that i'm ranting [Music] that said i still love going to the city i i genuinely love it and i went to some cool places recently um some good record stores uh some good like comic book stores nintendo stores always fun i need to not die the sun was very helpful tactical sun use [Music] [Music] bomb tears should i do it what have i done wait i'm immune to explosions that's perfect i mean i hope this will work i had some good ass tears before too so i don't know i'm i'm immune to fire and explosives so this is this is kind of cool [Music] [Music] oh my god and my bombs are super powered so this is like extra stupid in the best possible way oh my god i love when the runs just get broken like this i love the uh synergies that they put in this game whether intentional or not like i and don't get me wrong undermine i think is a great game i think in some ways it has some things that are better than isaac there's a couple things i think it does better but that's a story for another time but isaac has years of development undermine is still at the end of the day you know it it owes its existence to isaac and uh i think isaac is probably like the best roguelite game maybe top three like definitely top three of all time in my opinion i have to throw that disclaimer in there because objectively who the [ __ ] knows it's all i mean i would put slave aspire in the top three but i know not everyone likes cards morbid anatomy museum oh i can see there's a lot of museums that i need to like go to now dave when you we're going to wildwood when you come to new york i'm just saying if you want to i mean i will you know we'll bug jeff too yeah instead of going and doing cool stuff in manhattan like cool museums now let's go to shitty wildwood new jersey when i could just take everyone there in flight simulator mega tears damage up tears down at this point it's just bombs oh [ __ ] i'm shooting bombs slower now that it worries me that definitely worries me [Music] exploding decoy attracts enemies i've been haven't even been using this book i wonder yeah i don't know if the tier bombs are now more powerful i unlocked something called the fast bomb i think the fast bomb tame impala's new album still waiting on a radiohead album i mean i don't want to rush the lads but i think this is now the longest gap between albums that there have been there has ever been your damage does increase the bomb dam okay [Music] hey so now if i don't use the dead sea scrolls i just have more damage all i at least unlocked one new thing so you've done the first side area and did the mirror [ __ ] right yeah i think so sacrificial knife has appeared in the basement don't didn't i need that i haven't really done much with lilith first side area did the mirror should you have to do that oh right the [ __ ] the thing shoots then you get another one [Music] this yeah this is probably gonna throw me off your active item duplicates all buddies oh okay well i've only used this character like one time so oh it only duplicates for that one room though [Music] i do like that so many characters are very different i wanted the one that has the bone as the melee weapon though i just know that one is very difficult to get flush oh crap insta kills poop enemies and bosses turns enemies into poop extinguishes fire spawns a stationary shooting familiar at the location where enemy died up to five familiars now we got us a run lads wow oh wait it didn't do anything i thought it was going to duplicate them [Music] should i i should save that right i'm back for that this is like a really interesting run so far just in the first area this character plus this item is gonna make for a completely different play style and look now i already have because of the flies i have my familiars yeah this is cool tears up shot speed up speed and i need a i need a key but i don't i still don't have a key so i'm going to check out that other area that i missed and hopefully find a key [Music] okay oh bomb would have been nice too for the secret area but that's alright okay so now i have to do the mirror thing down here i'm not mistaken [Music] so i forgot the steps i think i have to use that something oh man [Music] extra laser does this just not do anything with lilith [Music] that's been cool [Music] do i have to [ __ ] die play a bunch in the mirror world even do the boss again next right once you get the item the item you turn okay so i have to actually die from this no no oh oops [Music] do you know how to enter the mirror i forgot no that's a good oh that's an awesome item to get uh yeah you can you can spoil it for me [Music] is it the flame it's the flame now should i do the boss first and then do mirror world or mural worlds doesn't matter this is good yeah i'm glad i decided to uh ask for help on this particular [Music] version of this isaac recording [Music] really want that i might get the knife and now bomb through here oh will i have uh you have one more floor right okay i couldn't even afford bombs if i wanted to yeah this knife is gonna be fun but i'm still trying to get used to the the way the tears shoot [Music] god nope [Music] [Music] i want that poop money i want those ass pennies can't fly though i cannot afford these things i still don't technology is great it just sucks that i picked up technology and i can't use it okay nothing in that room treasure chest two keys for a treasure chest still no bombs it's mega man run over got pulped all right well that was unfortunate truthfully the um oh god it's this again uh truthfully that run what started out with a lot of promise and those extra buddies that you get from killing enemies that was cool but the fact that they didn't double was a little lame so i'll give it another shot now i know how to use the character a little bit better too oh they fart a little bit worried because now i only have one heart so that's that's gonna be a problem [Music] so man some runs have all the luck game is like oh the the player has one heart and it's full let us drop a heart and a half for player game is a cold mistress i like when they walk into the fire [Music] a six coin i think i need one more to get something from the store i also still need a key to do the thing that needs to be
