look at the video of The Intercept from the weekend showing the Chinese j-16 jet at the wing of the U.S surveillance plane then veering across the sky in a move known as thumping where an aircraft gets caught in another aircraft's wake and it makes for a lot of turbulence now intercepts are not uncommon I was on board for one a couple of months ago when the Chinese jet was so close to us I could actually see the pilots but the Pentagon says this sort of behavior is unnecessary and their warning it could cause an accident
