Venom Hot Toys Unboxing/Review

what is going on guys back with another video today i have a gigantic box here in front of me um it is hot toys venom so um we're gonna go ahead and dive into this if this is your first time here go ahead and hit that subscribe button check out my other videos um and as usual i will drop my redbubble link down in the description if you want to support the channel um much appreciated you guys always show love over there um so i appreciate you but i'm gonna go ahead and dive in here this box is gigantic man and it is heavy this might be the heaviest hot toys box i've ever gotten um it is and i just hit the camera trying to handle it but it is huge um it's like i think this box is bigger than thanos's box um slightly smaller than hulk than gladiator hulk but about as heavy as that one probably i'm just guessing but it is awesome the artwork as you can see it's like glossy you do have two stickers up here along with the venom movie logo um and then you have the sideshow exclusive and the special edition stickers here uh so there are two versions the special edition and then the regular edition so this is the special edition so it came with a couple extra things um that we'll see when we unbox it but you can see like venom um kind of glossed over there uh and these little like blue sections that you see are actual like cutouts which i'll show you um but so this is the bottom part of the box here so you can see these are all cut outs so this is the bottom section you have more branding there um another cutout up here and then let me go ahead and show you back here just the credits and stuff like that you can see believe that is yeah that's from the first venom there okay let me go ahead and slip this cover off this box is huge um all right let me go ahead and lay that down so you guys can kind of see what i was talking about with the holes in the actual cover there so super cool i love how they did that makes it look like like a symbiote kind of morphing which is cool so super cool how they did that and then of course here on the under side of the box we have some like images from the movie i think this is like a mix of movie images and uh images from of the actual figure i mean um so like this i think is the actual figure of course this these are all images from the movie um but yeah man it looks awesome and then the side so this is actually the back i forgot to say that this is the back of the box the front you have venom's face kind of on the side there and then uh you also have some like words here as you can see let's see i'm trying to read upside down something afraid but oh all right there we go so as you can see his face kind of completes on the front here and then you have more images from the actual movie so these aren't uh images of the figure i don't think and then you just have the venom eyes there along with more of the kind of glossy words weird venom there so this box is awesome i will definitely say this is one of the coolest hot toys boxes that i have ever seen um so i very much like it i think it's awesome but um also different in the way that it opens up so as you can see or maybe you can't but it does have a part on or a piece on the top part of this as well and then this is like indented down in here um and then it opens like a book kind of so super cool the way they did it um yeah i just think the box is awesome like i said i haven't seen a box like this before um so i just thought it was worth noting i think it's super cool so i just wanted to go ahead and show you guys that but i'm opening it up here and let's oh let's see if we can pull this guy out all right there we go here he is there's part of it and then i have to take off this top part still let's see not sure the best way to do that but [Music] almost got it out here okay all right there we go let's set that aside there okay so we'll go ahead and dive in here we'll start with this top part um of the tendrils that came on the top part of the lid so these things definitely have a very strong smell um so let me go ahead and take that off yeah these are pretty cool man so i think these plug into his back um and then these have wires in them so you can actually bend them however you want um and then of course they have the little venom heads there i don't know if i'll use these um they came i believe the extra tendrils were something that came with the special edition um but it was the same price as the regular edition which is why i opted for the special edition um i don't think i'm going to use these on my display um but i just kind of figured why not get them if for the same price uh since the special edition was still available but um so you do get two or you get three with heads actually and they're all different um like heads so that one's just smiling this one's sticking out it's tongue this one's sticking out a longer tongue um and then you do get another one here so you get four total and this one doesn't have a head on it at all these are just the tendrils so super cool um yeah i again i think they're really cool and definitely was a no-brainer for me even if i'm not gonna use them uh if it's the same price might as well go ahead and get the special edition in case i ever want to use them in the future but all right so this guy also has a double decker platform here it comes with a ton of stuff as you can see so set him aside we'll start over here with the base and his weapons all right so put that to the side there so the base is awesome in my opinion i think that's so cool um it is kind of like that thanos style base so it's pretty big obviously venom's a big dude um and then you have like the kind of like mirrored um eyes there which is super cool on top of a matte black kind of overlay there and then you do have venom there um on a metal nameplate which is really cool um and it is in that like movie logo style which is super cool um so then he does come with a couple of other symbiotic uh weapons here so you have like this blade and you can see it's got some like weathering on there um and then kind of like some just divots and stuff to make it look like a symbiote this is super cool um it is kind of sharp actually uh so do be careful i guess but um yeah man this is super cool but let's see let's put that back in here then he does come with like this grabbing claw thing that plugs into his arm um which this thing is pretty awesome so like the coloring on this thing is really cool um camera's not really doing it justice it like looks it's like black but it's iridescent kind of so um it looks like a symbiote so let me see i don't know if these have like wires in them i think they're just kind of like sculpted like that but it is kind of pliable so i have seen some people put like this around like spider-man's neck and stuff to make it look like he's like grabbing spider-man or whatever i've seen some cool little displays um with that there we go let's see and then he comes with this which is absolutely gigantic and probably the coolest weapon that he comes with in my opinion and i will definitely be using this in my display this thing is sharp as well this is a gigantic like axe sword thing again plugs into his arm as you can see and what's super cool is it does have like holes in it so it's like that symbiote like kind of stretching almost to make this which is really cool and it does have you can see that iridescence kind of on it so it is black but it has like that purple um kind of like shine iridescent look so this is super cool that is probably the badass weapon the most badass weapon out of these three that he comes with in my opinion but let's go ahead and take a look at venom himself here so let me pop this off i have not looked at this guy at all yet um so this is a pure unboxing um so yeah it's all the stuff the weapons and everything this is my first time seeing all this so um here we go this guy is awesome man and his head just came off that's okay so it is magnetic which is cool let me move this out of the way here a little bit so he is gigantic i'm hitting the camera trying to kind of maneuver so you guys can see but look at that man let me see what again he looks awesome um so you can see all the kind of uh white like almost veins and stuff looks like he does have some plastic in his arms there but um so you can hear the joints are ratcheted which probably is a good thing since he is a big dude um you don't want his like arms falling off or whatever if he's trying to hold like some of those weapons or whatever but here he is man you can see that looks like a symbiote so looks pretty awesome um even the white like kind of veins or lines whatever you want to call them they're like not a pure white i don't know if the camera is going to be able to pick it up but they also have that iridescent like look to them to where it's not it's not just white um so this is super cool man you can see he's got some missing pegs here those do come in the box so um if you wanted to install the tendrils onto his back that's where they would plug in um otherwise those three pegs there i believe you plug them in here so you don't have those holes but super cool man so his body is like made of that like rubbery material um it feels like the stuff that like thanos and hulk um that their body is made of so you can see his gross looking feet there but yeah man so he is awesome i just want to show you guys this head sculpt because it is so cool the eyes like just look like there's dimension to them like it's not just a flat like white which is really cool you can see like the teeth are like jagged just so cool man this thing is awesome and like i said it is magnetic um and he does come with another head here let me show you guys this so this is like the screaming head with the tongue that you see on the front of the box you can see his gnarly teeth and everything this thing is insane man so this does come with a magnet um so he does come with interchangeable tongues so i'll pull these out for you guys this is another one here and you just plug it in there so you can have some different like looks with the tongue if you wanted to use this head sculpt and then this one i believe is the longest of them yeah so that is pretty ridiculous but also very cool so it does look very gross uh it looks like wet which is kind of nasty but um again like i said it's like nasty and kind of creepy but cool at the same time which i feel like is the vibe of venom so but very cool i'll go ahead and plug this onto the uh body so you can see what he looks like with that on there so very cool um i think i like the smiling head sculpt better let me know what you guys think which one if you have this guy which one you go with um or if you don't but you just which one do you like better i don't know i'm gonna have to i'm gonna have to decide which one i want to display with um i think that whenever carnage comes out having him scream and carnage scream like at each other with the tongues will be cool um but for now when he's just by himself kind of i might go with the smiling head sculpt um but again let me know what you guys think so and the magnet on his head is also very strong i will say that um in addition to the just the material like continues up there um so that's a good thing his head won't be falling off or anything but yeah pretty awesome so he does come with some fisted hands i'll show you guys the other hands that he comes with as well so these things are huge as you can see but they're like these giant claws so very cool and of course got that like iridescent kind of like veiny look to them and then he comes with kind of like a holding hand i'm guessing this is the one for that blade maybe if you wanted to have him holding that and then he comes with another claw for the other hand and then he does come with a pointing hand as well which is kind of a strange pick in my opinion but his finger is super long and pointy so interesting pick for the last hand there but and then of course you have the uh plugs for his back let me go ahead and take one of these out here so for these i believe you just kind of match up the shape um maybe i'm assuming but i might have to mess with that later so yeah there you go that's kind of how that how one of them looks like so it kind of covers up that uh that hole there so you can see it if you really look at it but uh at a glance honestly you can't even notice it because of like the material that he's made of like the it just looks shiny in general and there's a lot going on so yeah but he is a big dude he's probably thanos sized if i had to guess um i'll have to compare him but uh thanos is a little bulkier i think because he's got like the armor and stuff on but height wise i think he might be pretty close to thanos but yeah man that's about it uh we're at 19 minutes already but thank you guys for watching i'm gonna take the rest of the plastic off of this guy and get them posed up um and i'll probably just put the pose that i go with in the thumbnail um i'll probably go with something simple for this guy because i don't want to mess with the the rubber that his skin is made of or anything but yeah man thank you guys for watching um let me know what you think of this guy i absolutely love venom and i'm a big fan of the movies as well um i do have carnage on pre-order i got the deluxe so i will be getting the eddie brock like half head sculpt slash sixth scale bust with it so i'm super excited for that one um i did not pre-order the venom let there be carnage venom because i have this guy and they're the exact same so i'm gonna stick with this guy and just get carnage um and then i'll have them both so i can't wait for that because i love that movie but let me know what you guys think of them uh and yeah man that's about it thanks for
