back inside the siegel center we look at the starting lineups for tonight's ballgame brought to you by kubota and for davidson i know lee is only a sophomore but this is somewhat of a season team at this point that's going up against vcu now bones highland's been banged up vince williams has been banged up but those guys should be healthy for tonight's ball game bob mckillop we asked him about playing inside the seagull center against vcu obviously this is the 810 semifinals it's covered 19 so they had to make some adjustments he said i'll be honest with you come out of the ncaa tournament but they definitely need to get the win and they're at home all right the tip is controlled by vcu highland right out of the gate covered by kellen grady now let's see if that match-up continues as the night goes on lee covers up vince williams there's leon williams looking inside nothing there they work it along the perimeter baldwin back to williams into the paint sweeps in no good second shot no good as well and the rebound is taken down by moninga i'm sure williams wants to be aggressive tough game last night out really looking to certainly himself he's been bothered by a bad back that's game sequence the way he wants him to be yeah you're talking about last night was a phenomenal night and he's right everyone went through it and no one wants to complain but it's just tough especially tonight so duke is now 11 11 and 11. are you letting us know who's going to be in the ncaa tournament who's not hold on oops hold on oh they lost today top loss today question mark for duke question mark purdue the spartans lost twice to michigan it's tough for them too and it's going to be that big ten tournament the big ten tournament and the mountain west tournament those are the two triple it's a calling that's kept us free it's a place to belong and that's for sure but with vcu st louis they got a chance and i think bonaventure is probably in the tournament all right i think they're safe i think you're safe to say that i think they're safely in so you never want to cheer for one of these guys to beat your champion yeah if you know what i mean but if you want to get two teams in that that would be the safest way for it to happen but you want them to earn it nonetheless yeah mike rhodes we talked to him yesterday and you know he felt fairly comfortable that the win yesterday has pushed them in but i think he also understands that it's tenuous you've got to keep on winning yeah you have to you just don't know what's going to happen you don't uh and and certainly if they lose at home i don't know how this win with this if there was a loss tonight at home and i don't think it should be viewed as a home loss but the way they view it certainly matters carter easily could have been over 100 they shot 59 they matched an 8-10 record for made threes with 17. and the points of the paint too i mean they would gladly trade back about three or four those threes to have them tonight and maybe about 30 of those points the other thing too is they got off to such a good start shooting and that obviously buoys confidence when you do that tonight's not the case yeah not the case and when you're leaders i don't think they had an abundance of turnover will be where the ark they did a great job guarding them these threes are insignificant pressure makes diamonds 12 points all turnovers to be honest with you tommy was a it was a lackluster game that they just took over at the end very true they just they just imposed their will in the second half yeah you think they're in no matter what happens i think vcu is in yeah yes i think both these guys will be interested the steal by davidson you need both vcu and bonaventure bc involvement i think they both will be obviously if vcu beats bonneville championship they're both i think for st louis there's work to be done travis ford has mentioned that there might be a game this week that they can get together just to kind of build their status a little bit they need people to lose that's what that's about i mean that's what it comes down to when when you're in this situation i've been there before you're rooting against people literally hoping that certain people lose and that's just the truth of the matter all right so the officials are making sure the clock is all set specific with the number
