Vauxhall Vivaro camper conversion by Ally Fraser Wood Works

hi i'm ali fraser let me show you around my latest van conversion [Applause] starting back we've got these two huge storage drawers that fall all the way out you can get loads of things in there and for the smaller things i've made these little cubbies in the door cutaways coming inside making full use of the room got some cubbies above the wheel arches where you can store anything including a table leg tabletop fits neatly here and now you can have a dinner party for four in the back of your van after dinner you'll have to kick your friends out because unfortunately this fan only sleeps too but a tabletop turns into a bed and then the cushions that you were sitting on turn into the mattress just like that okay so it's bedtime now i'm gonna plug my phone into charge i've got two usb sockets over here i've also got full control of these lights and the kitchen lights and then just here i can use this dimmer switch to set the mood for bedtime night night hi moving around to the side door this is the business end of the van now we've got the light switch here for the kitchen and again for the back door we've got a volt meter here which is showing the voltage left in the batteries it's important to be able to keep an eye on that to make sure you don't run the batteries too low over here we've got storage over here we've got storage here's the kitchen we've got a two ring gas hob and a sink more storage here's your kettle let's make a cup of tea it's that easy okay while we're waiting for the kettle to boil i'll tell you a little bit about what's going on behind the scenes in this small cupboard over here so i've equipped this van so that it can work as a small remote office uh we've in this cupboard we've got the solar charger which is taking the power from the solar panel and putting it into two 110 amp hour batteries so we've got 220 amp hour power and we've also got in here a 300 watt inverter so that we can plug a laptop in and an extra monitor for working on the move last but not least in case you get caught short we've got a emergency toilet in here it's pretty basic so uh i won't go into too much detail but if you get caught short i don't know about you but i'm bored of waiting for this kettle to boil i think it's time for a beer cheers
