Van Life Tour! Inside my custom Mercedes Benz Sprinter

so I figured I'd do a little video do a walk around of the van show you guys what it looks like on the inside but we got a 2022 short wheelbase so the 144 High roof Sprinter I love this thing I ordered the LED light package but they didn't show up which I was pretty bummed about and I still wish we had them but says I'll do and this is Jerry he's hanging out but um as far as the tires go I think it was day two of having this thing and I took it straight to the tire shop and after a little bit of research I figured out that these were the largest tires that you could fit on it without uh them running rubbing so these are 265 75 16s the BF Goodrich ko2s and I love the CR um the chromoly black rims so I haven't even thought about putting new rims on it just because I do like the look of those and it looks pretty good with those tires so pretty stock looking from the outside I put these crl I think they're crl or CR crl Lawrence bunk windows in and those are awesome pretty simple install and then on the back here we've got a bike rack and then up there is my solar panels but this bike rack works for now I'd like to get the ones that Mount vertically on the back window along with the spare tire mount on the back make it a little easier to get on to clean the solar panels when I need to then up on the top of the roof got the flat line vanco low profile roof rack and I ordered four 100 watt solar panels but I couldn't fit four panels and the AC so I had to make do with this little arrangement but it actually works really good I have 600 amp hours of batteries these three panels and it runs at RTX 2000 really well looks super clean up top looks like I knew what I was doing when I installed it so now I will take you guys inside show you where the magic happens [Music] I put new flooring in with this sweet coin mat turned out really well except for a couple little spots probably could have just repositioned everything a little bit better and this little extra step thing is awesome put your shoes we put stuff for the dogs in there got this little trash bin that's nice this is the front on the package I've just pretty much went all out I said whatever let's get the leather steering wheel we got the electric seats both of these seats are heated looks like I'm driving like a G-Wagon or something but we got the big screen let's start a system see what it does activating Bluetooth love this thing navigation oh crap now you guys know my address had to turn that off Bluetooth connected to it and messed my video up but yeah we got a lot of storage a lot of places to keep a bunch of crap which you know how that goes got the yeti only thing I wish is these were air conditioned that would have been super nice then you got the compartments up top right here keep some beanies some hats sunglasses got some old sport Old Spice sport deodorant but yeah we looking good up here and then here's my thing I've put it on number three so I just hit number three and I hit number three over here and these things are just moving doing their thing and this is another package that got um deleted off my van build which I was mad about was swivel seats so I had to go buy some and install them myself I guess that was already loose come on so yeah I had to install these they're um just looked at reviews online on the forums and people like these the most they're the lowest profile ones to add pretty simple boom and this is really sweet to have when you're camping you know just go sit on it and look and there's I didn't even want to clean it for you guys I just wanted to show you what it's like real van life got the bed up here I haven't done the back door panels so I made this frame out of aluminum Extrusion and it's working awesome so I literally just started with these lower aluminum pieces like that right here drilled that in and did a little erector set works pretty sweet and then of course the adventure wagon mule bags love these things keep a koozie there for uh the high noons got my other one my work one boom got some got some batteries there if I ever need some I got a walkie-talkie see what else we got underneath this thing oh I got my fishing reel some fishing stuff for the some flies it's mountain bike gloves I got my mountain bike glasses got some bear spray because I live up here in Idaho and we go to Montana sometimes in Wyoming and I don't want to get eaten by a grizzly that would suck and then these things super clutch dang they were expensive but well worth it and they look nice so that's cool but I got I got them for the entire van we got it on the door right here just keeps a lot cooler inside they got some for the back windows and then obviously the entire front set up so it's Pitch Black in here when you're sleeping keeps it nice and cool and then here are the bunk windows that's really nice to slide open when you're camping in the woods these are the wall panels I did just like with everything I've done um if I were to ever do it again I could do a better job put more glue down but I mean they turned out pretty sweet I messed up my cut and ran out of fabric so I had to see it right there kind of hid my mistake all right looks kinda Pro and there's a door panel and then that's where my favorite part is all the electric and I got the renergy one setup right there you got 46 battery we use it all weekend when we went camping had the AC running non-stop which was so sweet to have but so these are lights buttons on off boom off and then my other Zone boom off that's my AC trim I did out of some cedar messed up a few pieces but we worked it out looks alright but this thing's kind of cool you know you can check my batteries get a little closer check the batteries I got my alarm on just in case it gets too low it'll just let me know and I'll show you guys my solar setup I'm proud of that but I guess before we show you the solar show them on bent seats these things are sweet these come off of a mattress so the small van and I was able to make them work on the floor so I have another video where I gave a rough idea of how I installed it but these are the brackets I have another single seat that'll go right here literally just Clips in which is awesome if I want to have more people in here but this two-seater works great and there's ribs under the floor like high and low spots and I just literally just measured it to make sure that it fit in the grooves and it did got some nice little space in between my cool seats again my bed my tongue and groove ceiling turned out okay I just have to finish this end piece I don't know what I did here but I'm gonna make it look nice I'm really proud of how these turned out my upholstery work on this was Pro and so are these cuts super good don't know how I did it so well this is another Pro upholstery job I broke a piece of tongue and groove there just kind of dangling and then this this cut drives me crazy I messed it up but it works and then this thing is awesome and if you are like me you absolutely have to have AC when I sleep put that thing on 62. I mean just kind of for reference I had this it's a Dometic RTX 2000 and it pretty much ran non-stop this past weekend I mean I turned it off a couple times um but yeah it worked great and I I mean my battery's barely drained I say barely but I got four days out of them with it all running and then obviously charging it was charging out as it was going hello what's up bubs what's up what are you doing Jerry the guard dog vicious as you can see but again energy one setup this is the on off switch for my inverter and then I ran from the inverter I made some Outlets so there's an outlet here's my master on off switch we'll go around to the back real quick boom it's a diesel got another little Outlet right here and then here's where the magic happens it's my favorite part put it in a glass window because it looks so sweet so these are three 200 amp Hour Energy lithium iron phosphate batteries so we got 600 amp hours got my 3000 watt inverter got my fuses it's the DC to DC battery charger so that thing um when I press the on button it'll charge my battery system while the car is running my fuse block I have a ton of Open Spaces right now I just have uh my lights running to it and that renergy one face plate that you saw over there and then my 60 amp mppt charge controller you can see that we're cruising but yeah looks pretty professional I'd like to maybe this winter pull this apart and change the color of that plywood I don't know paint it black or something would look cool but one of the things that I need to do on this like soon is create a couple air vents just so it doesn't get too hot in there but I think we're cruising right now here's the back of the seats the bottom of my bed if you have any questions about how I made this I really just winged it but I can help you out I think but yeah here she is I hope you liked it
