Van Life Debut: Am I Too Old For This?

hi guys Nancy Trekker here back for another  adventure did you ever wonder what life would be   if you sold everything you had packed up just the  bare necessities and drove into the Yonder with   no clear destination this is basically what I've  done with my life but let me tell you it's not all   sunshine and rainbows buckle up and join me as I  spill the beans on what it's really like out here at 51 with three grown kids I've crafted a life  that lets me roam the globe while still keeping   the bills paid and hey sharing my adventures  on YouTube with you is just the cherry on top living in a vehicle means downsizing your life  to fit into this compact interior I purchased a   roof rack so I could bring my kayak and my bike  along on the adventures and my Backcountry gear   fits in there too but forget about stretching  out comfortably so I didn't even realize how crowded this was going to be I cannot actually sit up I'm all packed up and I'm not going to say everything fit uh because it's pretty pretty  compacted in there um this is supposed to be   where I sleep my passions for travel and backcountry camping blend into each other like the raindrops falling down my windows Montana  in Springtime is cold and rainy condensation is   a constant battle making the interior feel  damp and stuffy especially on cold nights privacy or the lack thereof is also top of  my mind vanlife means your home is always   on display I prefer the darkness of the forest  but I search for Wi-Fi every day to deliver my   work my days consist of waking up driving  to a coffee spot with Wi-Fi and bathrooms   putting in some solid freelance work and  then searching for my next destination and sleeping Arrangements let's  just say it's not the Ritz a foam   mattress topper cut in half and  doubled up separates my hips from   the unforgiving frame of the back seat I didn't see the sign till this morning cooking in the Great Outdoors is more like a  culinary challenge but hey where there's a will   there's a way dinner is my sauteed morel mushrooms  and some leftover fries and leftover Cowboy Burger with its rugged design and legendary off-road  capability my Jeep Cherokee takes me places   only others dream of but the best part  the freedom it gives me to live life on   my own terms whether I'm camping under the  stars or exploring off the beaten path my   well-oiled Jeep is my trusty companion every  step of the way and that feeling of cruising   off into the sunset leaving nothing but  a trail of dust in your wake pure Magic if you like my videos please leave a  comment and don't forget to subscribe
