Now let’s get started.  Method 1: First,   you need to close any Valorant and Riot Launcher  background processes and clear temporary files.  Right-click on Windows Start  button and select Task Manager.  Look for Valorant and Riot launcher processes.   Right-click on each process  and select End task option.  Next, click on the Windows  Start menu and select Settings.  Select System and click on Storage. Let the storage information load.  Once loaded, click on Temporary Files.  Click on the Remove files option to  delete these temporary files from your PC.  Method 2: The next thing you can do is update your Windows.  Press the Windows + I keys to open  settings and click on Windows Update.  Click on Check for updates. If there  is any update available, install it.  Once done, restart your PC.  Method 3: Another thing you   can do is reinstall Riot Vanguard. Open Settings and click on Apps.  Select Installed apps and look for Vanguard. Once you find it, click on the three dots   menu for Riot Vanguard and select uninstall. Next, click on Display.  Set the recommended resolution and scale.  Method 5: Another thing you can do is close any   unnecessary programs running in the background. Open Task Manager and look for any unnecessary   programs running in the background. Right-click on them and select End Task.  Close apps like MSI afterburner and Rivatuner,  as they are known for conflicting with games.  Method 6: The next thing   you can do is update your graphics driver. If you are using an Nvidia graphics card,   you can use GeForce Experience  to update the graphics drivers.  If you don’t have it installed, download  and install it from Nvidia’s website first.  Run GeForce Experience. After you open the app, click on Drivers   and check if any new drivers are available. Download and install it.  For AMD graphics cards, the  process is similar but uses the   Radeon software instead of GeForce Experience.
