foreign we begin with the praise of Allah azzawajal testifying that Allah alone is deserving of worship And We Begin by sending peace and blessings and salutations upon the messenger of Allah and upon his family and his companions and then I begin by advising all of you and myself foreign for the one who has Allah Allah will protect him and Allah will guide him to the best of this world and the next we praise Allah the one who turns the hearts of his servants however he wants Allah makes firm those who believe with a firm word in this life and in the hereafter and Allah misguides the wrongdoers and Allah does whatever he Wills and Allah azzawajal made each one of our hearts different Allah told us if among them are those who oppress themselves and among them are those who do the minimum that they should and among them are those who race forward to do Good Deeds by the permission of Allah and Allah means each time that we live in different there are times when we feel energy and enthusiasm and strength and there are times when we feel weakness and laziness and we slow down in the Hadith of Abdullah said [Music] [Music] he said every action has a time of enthusiasm a time when you feel so much energy and you feel raring to go and then every action has a time when you slow down and maybe you struggle with it and you struggle to be regular and consistent in it he said so whoever's enthusiasm is in line with my Sunnah this person has been successful and whoever slows down and they fall into something other than that this person has been destroyed and a similar Hadith came from the wording of the Allah from the messenger of Allah that he said foreign everything that you do has a time of energy and enthusiasm and every time of energy has a time when you slow down so if the person who is like this does the right thing and comes as close as they can then have hope for that person and if they are someone that people Point their fingers in amazement towards them don't count this as anything from these two I Hadith we understood something profound that as we go through our lives we go through times when we find our worship to be easy and we go through times when we find our worship to be difficult we go through times when we find our hearts connected to Allah and we go through times when we find ourselves our hearts to be covered and distant from Allah this is something that the messenger of Allah he didn't leave it he didn't leave it rather he explained to us how to manage this situation so we're going to summarize what the messenger of Allah said in these two amazing Hadith Hadith foreign s when we go through these times of ups and downs times when we feel energy in times when we don't it is the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah so we never go beyond the Sunnah in our enthusiasm and we never go below the Sunnah when we find ourselves to slow down that is because everything the messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam left us is the best and everything that goes against what the messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam left for us is going to take a person away from Allah as Allah said whoever goes against the messenger after the guidance became clear to them and follows away other than the way of the Believers we will give him what he chose for himself and we will put him into jahannam and what an evil destination so we understood that when we go through this life and we find ourselves going up and down and we find our hearts connected to Allah and disconnected from Allah that our guidance in this situation is the Sunnah of the messenger so we are avoid two very dangerous things one of them is and the other one is so one of them is going too far going beyond the Sunnah of the messenger and the other one is going too little and keeping away and falling short from what the messenger taught us as for the Hadith Hadith the messenger of Allah gave us two important things he said foreign do the right thing and come as close as you can like the messenger of Allah as Allah and as the messenger said he said foreign he said that if I command you to do something do as much as you possibly can and if I tell you not to do something then keep away from it so we do our best we try to learn what is right we study our religion and we take it seriously and we try to do what is pleasing to Allah and when we fall short we do as much as we possibly can and then we turn to Allah and we ask Allah for his guidance and his forgiveness [Music] you see them racing ahead in ibad and the people might point and say look at this person here we have our name in audio someone from the close people to Allah but in reality the people's fingers don't count for anything and what people think of others this is something the only Allah knows a person's sincerity and a person's as The Messengers every action is based on your intention is judged by your intention and everyone will have the reward of what they intended in the Hadith and this is a profound Hadith that he said what can I mean he was from the people who used to write the Revelation for the messenger of Allah and he said [Music] foreign and he says he says to him when he says these words who has been entrusted with a great responsibility from the people who are close to the messenger of Allah [Music] he said he said Allah and he reminds us of the fire and he reminds us of Jannah until it is like we can see them with our eyes [Music] he said when we leave the messenger of Allah [Music] you are he said when we leave The Messengers we become busy with our wives and our children and our lives and businesses and all the things that we have to do and we forget a lot of the things that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said to us don't we find this ourselves my brothers we find ourselves that when we come to the and the khafib reminds us about Allah and we feel ourselves close to Allah and then we go from the and we forget we become busy with our businesses and our families and our children and our jobs and the life of this world takes over and we forget and he said for Allah Abu Bakr who is the best of the companions he said wallahi we find the same thing we experience the same thing as you felt he became a monastic Abu Bakr said I'm like you I feel the same I feel like when I'm with the prophet sallallahu it's like I can see Jannah and the Hellfire in front of my eyes but I go out and I have my children and I have my family and I have my work and I become busy and I forget so they went to the messenger of Allah and they told the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam what they were experiencing Allah [Music] he said by the one whose hand my soul is in is he said wallahi if you stayed like this how you are with me remembering Allah like you do when you are with me the Angels would come and shake your hands in your bed and the angels would come and Shake Your Hands while you're walking on the street my dear brothers did any of you have the Angels come down and shake your hands when you are walking down the road no because all of us we go through this we have times of energy times when we are slow times when we are near times when we are far times when we are busy times when we forget and that's why none of us ever had the Angels come down and Shake our hands like they didn't come down for hamdullah and then the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he said sir sir he said there is a time for this and a time for that a time for this and a time for that a time for this and a time for that and he repeated it three times and the Hadith is narrated by animal Muslim in Israel is Hadith contains a very very important lesson all of us we suffer what harm done has suffered from we are not better than alhamdulillah is better than us we are not better than Abu Bakr rather Abu Bakr is better than us but instead all of us every Muslim we feel this coming close and for being having energy and slowing down like the messenger so what is the advice there is a time for this and a time for that and in this I'm going to take two benefits from it even though there are many or perhaps we can take three two benefits that are very very important from this Hadith the first is you must always give time for your religion however busy you are with your work however busy you are with your family whatever difficulties you're going through in your life you must give some time for your religion was a time for this and a time for that and the second benefit is we must look to choose which time we give for which deal when the Muslims gather together on the day of July and when you see the Masjid fill all the way to the back and the khafib stands what is the right time at that should at that time should we say that was the time when I was working but I gave an hour for my religion in the evening no you have to choose the times so when the Muslims gather for the jummah you have to be there and when the times come for the Gemma art you have to be there and when their times come for your worship which is required in Canada the prayer is given to the Believers at six times so everything has its time choose the right time for the right thing choose the right time for the right thing and however busy you become make sure you always always give time for this Dean for your religion and I'm going to conclude with another Hadith of Abdul life and I'm not even an ass that the messenger of Allah says this Hadith the Hadith Iman wears out in the heart of one of you like your clothing wears out could you imagine my brothers if you wore the same piece of clothing every single day let me give you the simplest example let's talk about a pair of socks and you wore this pair of socks every single day for a week for a month for two months wash it if you like push it every day what will happen to it it will have holes it will wear out your heart is like that your connection to Allah in your heart is like that your Iman is like that you're affected by what is around you you're affected by the things you see that you shouldn't and the things you hear that you shouldn't and the things you say that you shouldn't and the things you do that you shouldn't you're affected when you slow down and you slow down from your about that and your voluntary deeds and your obligatory Deeds and this affects your heart it affects your heart the same way that your clothing becomes effective and this is a beautiful example from the messenger of Allah because it explains something in a way that it's easy for us to understand easy for us very simple the same way that your clothing wears out your Emmanuel's out in your heart what is the solution ask Allah to renew the Iman that is in your heart how do we ask Allah we ask Allah with Dua we ask Allah azzawajal by doing good deeds we ask Allah with our consistency we ask Allah by doing voluntary deeds and Sunnah deeds and the extra must have bad recommended actions we ask Allah with victim we ask Allah with and when we do these things it's like getting a new piece of clothing your heart becomes new again like you put on a brand new piece of clothing all you have to do is to ask Allah ask Allah with your words ask Allah with your actions turn back to Allah with October while it's still far and Allah will renew your heart for you like he brings for you and provides for you your new clothing my dear brothers to conclude we understood that all of us go through up and downs all of us go through times when we have so much energy we want to pray every extra prayer and every Sunnah prayer that we can we go through times when we want to read the Quran and we want to finish it maybe in three days or seven days or ten days and we go through other times where we slow down and maybe we struggle to even finish it inside of a month or even two months and maybe we struggle even with our Father prayers and things go up and down like that so we recognize that this is the nature of Danny Adam and we recognize that we need Allah's help so we may we turn back to Allah we make Toba and is still far we look to the Sunnah of the messenger and we learn what it is that we should do and what it is that we shouldn't do when we feel enthusiasm we never go further than the Sunnah of the prophet sallallahu and when we find ourselves slowing down we don't go down into what Allah and his Messengers this is the lesson that I wanted to share with you today and Allah azzawajal knows best before we conclude we just had a few small announcements to make on behalf of the Masjid first of all if we could ask everyone to take this time now between the Diane and the start of the khupa to fill the gaps in the Masjid to make sure that the people who are
