Using Jakarta's Skytrain for the First Time in Indonesia!

this is tokarnahata International Airport in  Indonesia's Capital City Jakarta a place where   most tourists like you or us will actually begin  their Journey when going to explore Java Island as   this is our first time in Jakarta and have no idea  where to begin once leaving this airport which   this way we are going to head out like two  clueless tourists and figure out   the best way to navigate jakarta's  transport system not only to see   how it works but see if we can make it  to our hotel well this place looks nice in order for us to leave this airport there  are two modes of Transport which we can choose   from one is a taxi and one is a train and  seeing that we haven't taken a train yet in   Indonesia we're gonna go for that one as it  is the cheaper option do you know where the   train is I have no idea sorry but where's the  start time to to central Jakarta the sky Train hi the sky Train is the sky train that way okay thank you so much  I've actually gone into Google Maps and I've typed   in our hotel and if I click on the train option  it actually tells me how to get from the airport   to the hotel and it's telling me to take the sky  Train so that's where we're heading to Sky Train   to T2 and Sky Train or train start to T1 okay  and then I go up there okay thank you so much hey so we actually need to go there between terminal  one and Terminal 2 and that goes to the city thank you check how cool this  train is you can actually see   all the controllers it's not often as you see that what tells you how people get to work  well the motorbikes sitting in the parking Hi man how are you I was gonna ask  how do I get to this yo stay here because we arrived in terms  terminal train to get in getting we will catch another train in order to  go into the center of the city when looking online   and trying to figure out on where we should  stay there was a certain area that was always   coming up as the number one place for tourists  to stay so that's where we're heading to yeah the driver has swapped the Train the shot from one   side of the train to the other side  they have a lot of security there I've never really seen someone drive a train  before but that was cool it was so weird to   be wearing a mask again what time does the  next train leave the next train uh 12 49.   12 49 so in one hour's time yes and that one's  going to manga right awesome thank you so much   so we're going to mangora right yeah mangarai  okay is that passages passengers yeah three   because of Daniel's extra personality you're  so funny and you want to take the next one   which is at 12 49 that's an hour's time from  now so we've got our tickets and it was 70   000 each so that's 140 together looking on  guy Jake a taxi from the airport all the   way to our hotel was a hundred and eighty five  thousand so going through this entire process   probably just to say 45 000 probably not worth  it and I think next time I'll be taking a taxi   Plus 12. and that's our next train we're  heading from the airport all the way to London let's hop on the next train check at the size of this hole how cool is this  train it's actually got proper seats and a covered   restriction thing but I feel like I'm climbing  on an airplane pretty fancy look at our seats a charging point do you have a seat on our tickets  free seating okay no you can sit anywhere sorry   can you please not bother me sorry ma'am I'm  trying to relax over here can you please not   bother me I actually didn't know this but on  Google Maps when you search for your directions   and you click on the train one and it shows you  the entire route it actually shows you the cost   as well per person check there it is right there  70 IDR welcome to Edward Railway services station so seeing that these trains are  so nice they say that they have a   bathroom on board so I'm gonna go and  actually see how these bathrooms look oh wow these are actually quite nice  bathrooms they've got a baser and a toilet   it really feels like you're in an airplane  here look how long this train is my goodness this train is literally so lonely  when you look down the corridor you   can see it bending along the pathway that  it's busy making it is so cool to watch so I think these seats can actually  recline backwards oh sorry sorry okay they're replying backwards  just mind the people behind you while I must say I am super  impressed with jakarta's train system it doesn't go down okay thank you so much man so we've ended up having to take a taxi because   our hotel from the train station is a  kilometer and a half and it's raining how much well this place looks nice yeah gee it  was so we are finally checked into our   hotel here in Jakarta and look how cute  yeah it's so so nice check the bed even this place does have an awesome washing machine   and a microwave so we can  actually cook meals oh yeah have a fish for us oh no it's snacks in the  fridge oh wow this is a super nice bathroom   let's see please tell me it's got a oh my gosh  that is a nice shower we have such a small budget   that the places that we've been staying at hasn't  really had the nicest of showers if I can say hey   they have a balcony oh wow cool open let's I don't  know is this just a balcony to enjoy no I'm sure hello Jakarta so the bathrooms you've been having have not  been the most amazing but it's doable so I   think this is the nicest one we've had and  we've only booked a master accommodation and   kind of extended our budget just a little bit  just a little bit more because it's my birthday   soon yeah it's Leanne's birthday in like two  days time so we thought let's just enjoy it   the angel Carter and just make the best of  it so we're gonna see what we get up to but   I think it's going to be a lot of fun our plan  was to go out and walk around a little bit but   don't think the weight is permitting that  oh hopefully we can later with a depending pending
