USC BIRNKRANT COLLEGE DORM ROOM TOUR 2020

[Music] also because of the coronavirus we are leaving tomorrow welcome to our a cozy little dorm here and also welcome to my channel if you're new glad you made it I'm Catherine and I'm her roommate Claire so we both go to the University of Southern California I'm a music industry major and I'm a media arts and practice major in the School of Cinematic Arts yeah we both are freshmen here and we live in burn craft which we highly recommend it's right above a 24-hour Starbucks which is amazing comes in real handy especially I just so much and they have more than Starbucks they also have like sushi and like snacks and like ice cream like it's so good guys you don't even understand so we really like Brent overall but we thought that we show you guys our dorm just for inspiration as you guys are getting accepted into college and also because of the coronavirus we are leaving tomorrow so we figured you do it now yeah here's the tour [Music] so you can see we have a nice body mirror we have our schedules printed out and we just decorate it a little bit basic storage up there of this layout I guess is typical for bird crap like in terms of closets jacket cities why not color-coordinated clothes got my shoes down there extra laundry back there and yes I have a lot of shoes I have 30 pairs here please don't judge there's just enough space for like my guitar ukulele pamper your think I'm a backpack it's great each room comes with these mirrors not all dorms come with mirrors like this but Bergman does and I added these little lights I get have enough you can tell it's good lighting where command hooks here's really good stuff is guys look as organization phenomenal so we have the dust you can see oh my gosh a little earpods case so cute so we got lay up a little letter board with the classic spring fun you have all my makeup right here I don't know like my essential jewelry right here and all like the products that I use every day I have in these drawers like I have an entire drawer of scrunchies in this drawer it's all I can easy the equipment and this one is like other beauty stuff but I really recommend putting like the products that you use everyday and like easy reach it's really nice because like these are all the things I use everyday and those are like the brushes and everything and then like in here is other stuff if I need it like this is all the jewelry that I wear on a daily basis but other stuff is stored away we've got little fairy lights nice little tapestry a cute little luggage tags with notes from all my loved ones back home we'll just super cute if you like flip it over it says I'm your actual boyfriend from Sal thanks enough here's my little bag like super cute storage underneath that and that not the drawers come with the room that little filing cabinet was under the bed I can probably find the links of all these things and put them in the comments but this fits perfectly under the beds from Amazon also from Amazon losses suffered Amazon here's my cute little photo blog I could not black-and-white photos and put them all on like squares I guess here's our fan oh wow you can see in the reflection you have like this is a lake ledge so I just have like some little like decorations essential oil diffuser because that's just essential you know um picture my family right there and then we got like food storage clear and I got matching carts the fridge and the microwave come with the room which is really nice I got my multiple alarm clocks because I do not wake up this is my slide where you color-coordinated just throw it like stuff that a tree I got this full Andy Andy Prince behavior from that that we do on to if it's just exactly this that is race all the way up yes so I like my better way of the season and then this is that there sooner it comes with support it's this actually comes apart so you can have it to a to if you have been look and then I have my wall to you I have and then I have my letter for you yeah it's they're not all this color some of them are like sort colors gray just depends on the room this is okay I got from my friend but I think I like to use a lot of too bad yeah that's right tick-tock merchants just have my makeup I've heard a little over the rap tears but it's nice like like my cats and then what's nice about Burke ran not all the doors you like this but it has no space on top and then I have I've little baskets here to you that fit nights this is a move which is really annoying its it slides but it's like so this is like mary-jane key and then it's gets stuck so it doesn't really slide uh yours is a foot oh no not right there oh yeah mine's not like that the way it works is like each floor there's like a girl's being in a guy's wing except for the second floor which is all girls the elevators are split so there's an even elevator than odd elevator if you're assigned to an even floor the elevator will take longer it just does then there's like a little study lounge in the middle by the elevator each of your own bathroom there's one washer and one dryer for the entire floor and how we got Burke written is actually I signed up for housing on the very first day if you even know you want to go to USC definitely get in that housing app right away time softer the first come first serve once you get in the portal you're able to rank your first five choices for dorms we met on Facebook and already knew that we wanted to read together we communicated through Instagram figured out what our choices were so that was like that gave us better chances since we both ranked on the same in terms of like when you get here like assignment and everything just do you guys know if your Roux ends in like a lower number like oh - oh four oh six then you're gonna be like when you're like facing the door and like you're lucky okay you're looking at the door and like the Starbucks is here [Applause] [Applause] [Music] so if that gives you any idea alike what your view will be that matters to me so much and I just wanted to put this out on the internet so last thing I know whenever we moved in we are like wondering what some of the measurements of things were so I'm gonna attach whatever measurements I have down in the description below if you want to see anything we won't really like burn cran especially because of like the community you know if were through open doors totally true everyone's awesome but also the location we mentioned the Starbucks it's right on McCarthy quad levy library is like right there you need to study and then ebk which is one of the dining halls is really close some people don't like ebk however for breakfast they're all very similar so like I'll have breakfast it edk if I do that breakfast sorry mom yeah it's very central location to like literally everything on campus like a lot of your classes are like a three minute walk or something if you choose wanted like the suite-style living like flora parkside it's more space technically but it is farther away so just know that there is a trade-off so yeah we both love fern print it's been really great to us and we're really sad the way about it I really really like the look of plants but I'm really really bad keeping them alive so I bought a bunch of fake plants on my Amazon target and honestly they're the best I love my cute little fake succulents another general dorm tip is I these dorms are carpeted but we added like a little bra in between our beds that match the color scheme and it really makes you feel cozy and like ties it together and it's really nice if you're like walking barefoot and like even like walking around classes all day and you're like oh gotta throw your shoes on oh my gosh and then you like walk on the rug it's a cloud I take naps you do you take so many naps oh my god we now return to your regular full driving we hope you like to go on tour video if you do have any questions leave it in the comments below that could
