I've seen loads of kids using "Electric Boogaloo" when making memes about sequels, but they've never heard of Boogaloo Shrimp/Mike Chambers (if they have any guess, they think it's basketball player Detlef Schrempf from his appearances on Parks & Rec).
He danced right up THE WALL, man!! The kids who used to tote flattened cardboard boxes around my uncle's neighborhood didn't want to be Michael Jackson, they wanted to be Boogaloo Shrimp and all the other B-boys.
