Upload Siemens tp177b HMI Backup Via ProSave software

[Music] foreign [Music] one thing keep in mind that the prosafe won't allow us to edit the program it just use to take a backup and to download it again to the same HMI model so let's get started first we need to start the we need to power up the HMI then we will take further steps to take a backup [Music] here the started HMI shows the main screen then you need to select transfer option from this HMI first then it will this one then it will allow us to take a backup if you won't allow it if you won't select the transfer option then that then it will not communicate with the laptop to take a backup now let's move to the laptop this is semantic process of here I have already selected the HMI which I am using I am using profibus MPI profibus option this is my profibus NPI cable my op address what is op address op address is HMI profibus address HMI MPI address which I which we need to put here and now I am going to take a backup it is establishing the communication [Music] it is not communicating with the HMI because I have selected another option in pgpc interface this is cancel the go to the as I am using MPI cable that is why select MPI set pgpc into pgpc only the master select OK diagnose it give you the picture of whatever the error is present or all the thing is fine then it saves us accordingly [Music] this is this is my laptop address and this is the op address which I have told before now select ok select yes okay starting communication as you can see here it is now started the communication it will complete the backup in 15 to 20 minutes almost foreign [Applause] I want to show you the pgpc interface setting through which I am successful in getting the backup from the HMI as I am using uh she means NPI cable so whenever you use Siemens MPI cable then you need to select USB A2 MPI adapter in the option sorry as it is using this communication setting in taking backup from the HMI that is why it is blocked here diagnose setting okay in diagnostic there are there usually have two options one is test and other is read which is not showing here because the setup is [Applause] foreign this is now about to complete now I will show the surface setting of my laptop through which I am I am successful in getting the backup from the sematic HMI panel first go to the windows option and search pgpc this is the pgpc interface setting in my laptop click any open it is just doing the last setting of the backup and then it will complete it so there are many options in the pgbc interface what you need to select is correct option according to your Communication cable as you can see here the backup is completed and saved on the location on this location [Applause] so I am using a MPI cable I am using profibus PC adapter MK cable so I will select USB A2 MPI option and go to the properties here I will I will provide address of this and and I will take Mark pgpc interface is the only master in the bus then select OK diagnostic option here you can see either the communication is correct or not here it is showing the communication is okay and the station address this is my station station address is 28 my laptop is my state if you want to see the HMI HMI address which was op which was op address so you can see here here you need to put you need to set the op address op means operating panel address or HMI then you need to click on read button in the pgpc interface and it will show you the address of your op here it is this is one that's why I have put one here to take a bag of from the HMI click OK and click ok in this way you will take you can take a backup from the Siemens cinematic HMI panel
