Upgrade Your DJI Mic Audio With This!

hey guys welcome back to another video some of you have been asking what lavalier mic I've been using this is it right here this tiny little package that I just connect to my DJI mics so let's get into it I'm going to do a little test here oops sorry if that's a little loud all right I'm going to do a little test here I've got a fan running over there in the corner but I've got a la mic on I want to know what the audio sounds like you're hearing this before I'm hearing this so I'm going to jump in editing and see what this sounds like lav mik noisy fan 12 15 ft away why are you recording with a fan in the corner well let's see how this lav mic does future John here editing this video actually there is a lot of noise in the background but you can clearly hear my audio in the video so that's pretty cool but once I stop talking you can hear that that fan noise in the background starts coming up into the audio levels so it does pretty good if you have other noise going around you're going to not hear that as much but you might opt to get a DJI mic 2 where you have that noise cancelling that you can have on your audio or you're going to have to go into your editing software and clean up that audio any background noises you can try to cut all that stuff out so just keep that in mind let me just show you what this lav mic is all about 3.5 Jack here you've got the lav mic here with the clip that you can clip to your shirt your jacket your tie if you're doing a presentation of course you could clip this to your shirt or your tie get that right up there it is similar to a tie clip like that or you can just stick it on your shirt like this you also have this wind screen cover up here and then you have the tip of the mic here you can unscrew this you've got this wind screen on the front of it and then if you take that off this is just your little wind screen it's I don't if you can see that very well little window reflector in there and this is your microphone right here and you can also remove the clip here so you just have this little spring here you can remove this off the mic so you just have the microphone itself like this and use it that way if you need to you can tape it on wherever you want this lab is about 4T long so you've got plenty of cable you can run this down your shirt you have plenty of cable for that stick your transmitter on your belt or in your pocket and get that out of view that is basically the lav mic itself right there now it connects with 3.5 Jack like this and if you are worried about this getting yanked out or anything you can slip this under the clip on your DJI mic and any yanking or anything on the cable is not going to pull that out so you've got it in there like that so this is for someone who's looking for a sleeker mic setup just a smaller go-to mic setup or you're wanting better audio quality in your videos you have the microphone closer to your voice you've got it right here in this zone right here so you are picking up better audio you have a smaller package if you do want that noise cancelling I would suggest getting the mic to and you'll have that in the microphone itself and that'll work with your lav mic cool little feature of this microphone is that you can remove this clip of course and get that out of the way so you just have the microphone itself like the this really small so that is just kind of a cool feature if you really needed to have this be a lot smaller and less noticeable and then of course if you're shooting Outdoors or in a windy location got the wind screen on here and that will help to reduce wind noise in your video so overall my thoughts on this lab system that I've been using for a while it is budget friendly so if you're just getting started out in your studio setup or video creation and you you need a cheap mic to get better audio I mean the quality is just as good as the DJI mics we could do a little sound clip here of this mic versus the DJI mic so this is sound coming from the DJI mic itself right here so this is the kind of audio quality that you're going to hear from the DJI mic jump over to the live mic and this is the audio that you're getting with the laugh mic so that is pretty good audio for under 20 bucks and for that price you do get two live mics two wind screens so if you want to pick up this mic if you're getting started and want better audio in your videos I'll leave a link in the descript you can check it out there budget friendly mic and it is pretty good quality if you're just getting started or you want a lavalier to use in your videos instead of using that DJI mic that is a little bit bulky if you're using this to record you have that DJI mic sitting right there it's kind of distracting in your videos so you can pick up this
