[AUDIO LOGO] JESSICA JANIUK: Hi. I'm Jessica Janiuk, senior software engineer on the Angular framework team, and expert punslinger. With the release of Angular version 14, we announced the new standalone APIs for components, directives, and pipes. We have a few updates for you. Since then we've been hard at work updating the APIs behind the scenes to make working with standalone components more ergonomic for developers. We're beyond thrilled to announce today that standalone APIs are now out of developer preview and are now stable. Stable means developers can confidently build production apps using the standalone APIs. It also means that it's possible to build a complete application without NgModules. And what's important to many developers in the community? The APIs are backwards-compatible and interoperable with module-based apps. We've updated other APIs and have implemented some simplification and improvements across the framework. Now there's provideHttpClient as a replacement for HTTP client module, as well as provideRouter as a replacement for routermodule.forroot and forchild. And we've also updated the testing APIs to make sure that developers have the best experience possible with the new standalone APIs. So what's next? We'll continue to evolve the APIs gradually, following semantic versioning. You'll be able to find out more about all the changes in an upcoming blog post. Take care of yourselves, everyone, and enjoy those new, now stable APIs. [AUDIO LOGO]
