hey what's up guys welcome to the pass faab Channel this video will show you how to reset your Windows logon password in case bit locker locks the boot disc if you cannot access the system disc you cannot reset the Forgotten password I will show two ways to solve this problem without further Ado let's begin method one unlock bit Locker using command prompt in the login screen you need to to hold down the shift key then click restart this will guide the system into advanced boot mode then you need to click on troubleshoot Advanced options selecting command prompt will bring up the need to enter the recovery key the recovery key ID is also provided below it can help you find the corresponding recovery key in case you don't have a recovery key at the moment you need to click skip this disc this also opens the command prompt but you can't access the system disc next you need to execute some commands this will open an empty notepad you then need to click on the file option select the open option this will open the folder window you can then go and find your save recovery key file here the recovery key saved in the USB drive can also be View viewed in this way then double click to open the recovery key file here you can see the recovery key next execute the following command again check the status of disk partitions this allows you to see which volume is locked what I have here is the C drive letter in a locked State press the up Arrow key to repeat the previous command this command looks at the recovery key ID and ensures that the two correspond to each other this means that the recovery key is correct and can be unlocked then execute the unlock command copy and paste the recovery key into the command Okay successfully unlocked volume C then type the C drive bit Locker to disable command okay that completes the bit Locker unlock type the exit command to close the command prompt removal of the bit Locker is complete this will open the command prompt directly this will allow you to execute the Windows password reset program from the command prompt the exact method of password reset I have put in the video link in the top right corner if you forget which fold fer path the recovery key is placed in then just you can try the second method method two unlock bit locker with for winky to reset password four winky can help you automatically search for the bit Locker recovery key saved on your PC it also provides the function of manually entering the recovery key it is easier and faster to unlock and remove bit Locker you can get it through the link in the video description launch four winky from another bootable computer or Android device then insert a USB flash drive click Start to download the four winky image and then do the USB burning wait for the burning to complete and you'll get a four winky boot dis you can also check out the boot menu key descriptions provided by for winky view the boot menu keys that correspond to your computer brand now insert the four winky boot disc into the locked PC then you need to restart your PC after waiting for the PC screen to turn black you need to press the boot menu key continuously this will open the boot menu then select USB flash drive and press enter this will open for winky the disc is not displayed properly with bit Locker turned on on the computer you need to click on unlock bit Locker locked discs will be displayed here you can then unlock the disc with the automatic or manual option select the manual option you can enter the corresponding recovery key here or find the corresponding recovery key file if you forget where the recovery key file is located then you can try the automatic option for winky will automatically search the dis for the recovery key to unlock the dis you can also click the two close option to disable bit Locker on the dis then choose to close bit Locker wait to close bit Locker okay bit Locker finished closing next you can reset your Windows login password you need to select Windows system and click next then you need to select the account for which you forgot your password next select the reset account password option and click next at this point type in the new password to complete the password reset wait for the password reset to complete and click on the restart option once the computer has restarted enter the new password to log [Music] in this will successfully log you into windows and indicate that the password reset is complete okay this is all about how to reset forgotten password in Windows 10/11 please give me a like if you find it helpful I will post more videos about Windows subscribe to my channel to see my videos faster thank you for watching see you in the next video
