Unveiling the Hammer Cat! Don't Buy an Aluminum Boat Until You See This!

[Music] [Music] back at the Seattle Boat Show and we are aboard a bricks camaran bricks is a tremendous company out of Fort Angeles Washington that builds amazing aluminum boats and we are fortunate to have with us uh Charlie crane from bricks and he is going to take us through this very special boat hey welcome B boy yeah so we've been building catam ran we call ourselves bursting cat for over 25 years here AB board uh 3814 we call it Rec Pro and it's got the starboard walk around and and offshore bracket that makes it 41 ft overall by 14 ft wide and this boat is built for fishing as you can see and it's got a bay tank here owner of this boat is going to do a lot of tuna fishing off the Columbia River he's got two holes in here that are fiberglass and insulated both important starbard side and uh has a ice maker to fill up the holes to keep the fish iced and uh on a this here is called a tea transom you can walk out and if the motors down you can back up into a dock and get on off the vat that way that's outstanding and uh as you can see there's a gate there and underneath the te transom we have an emergency ladder somebody Falls in pull ladder out and get back on board and is that unique to this design this boat was mostly uh all of our catamarans they don't yeah all of them probably have that tea trans sure and uh some don't because it's different type of setup but mostly yes we have a crab hot P here also it's more of a commercial style one as you can see and a gate uh entrance gate in Port and starbard side there's a cover right now on the AP deck station uh was raining a little while ago I should take it off but um so it's got three stations here wow one in a fly bridge AP deck and inside the P house just joystick steering so mostly it's pretty easy boat to run being catamaran that engines are mounted pretty far apart and it's an easy vessel to talk to Dock and uh it's a real stable C is are stable boats we take you inside yeah please okay so as you can see we got a L-shaped Galley here a full siiz refrigerator a lot of storage in the drawers a cooktop um it'll eventually have a microwave on top of the refrigerator it's got underneath the floor here we have two large storage containers they got the carpet over them right now to protect it from the people running through the show here sure we have a setti here that has storage under it uh and the CTI can also convert into a a bed it's just huge what is the be 14t 14 wow yeah and we have bigger diesel heat and electric heat so it also has air conditioning wow there's a lot this boat has on here most boats don't have we have also have a water maker um 12 oh excuse me 12K de generator um and uh this the head that's the head yeah show you that it's a wet head there so you can shower in there too that's huge too M and the feeling it just feels so Stout yeah it's a very strong boat it's all wed liament uh it's a fair young couple that purchased this boat so they got the Navigator pilot Helm seat here dual Helm seat and uh it's very comfortable as you can see yeah and it's got a it's really outfitted with about everything you can think of electronics sure is that is and it's got the starboard uh door here as you can see so the captain can get out and help somebody uh with a dock line or go the bow and help them with anchoring the boat and uh also fish it's only a star to walk around we didn't put a walk around on a port side because that enables the interior of the cabin to be as much room as possible yeah but you really feel it um the visibility is just outstanding thank you yeah and down here is a what we call a quarter birth so you can put a couple of children down here or maybe one adult or your luggage children or luggage like it yeah good like a bus seat here so couple of guests can sit up here while you're traveling and look forward this this bar here is a dual purpose it's a defroster and also you come in from fishing and put your hands on here and it warms them up really fast I'm H that's a special feature that we that's one yeah on the port side we have a double birth as you can see and the starbur side a single birth the center there is a storage for clothing and shoes and so forth and underneath the bunks there more stores like I said earlier there's a lot of storage on this boat I just can't get over how spacious it is MHM I don't know if you can see it through the window you'd like to go out on Deck but that set of stairs there we call them a beach combing stairs yeah you put the bow on the shore and you put the stairs down you can take your dog out for a walk or can we take a around up there yeah or you can go uh look for shells yourself a snake by here [Music] [Music] so there are the stairs that we can launch down into the beach it's got a war winch yeah that's excellent little switch you bring it up and down automatically two egress hatches there that go into the state rooms it's called The Hammer cat the Hammer cat it's pretty cool yeah check the lights out on that Mast up there wow yeah infrared camera and uh that big light up there the owner of this boat found in Florida at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and it's pretty bright I bet it is yeah play football on Monday night almost so I can take you up the bridge if you like yeah got a nice set of stairs going up nice yeah so lots of room up here so this is uh it's dingy obviously and you got the the dingy uh davit here right over here in the Faro side and I don't know if you can see it or not but we have a a rack that's going to be holding his kayaks couple of kayaks right there oh okay yeah I see yeah the Bo's not 100% finished yet after the show we're going to bring it back to the ship here i' test out a couple things and uh probably in a couple weeks released ownership so this hasn't been delivered yet no oh wow yeah the owner was kind enough to let us SP and show that's really nice yeah the mass will actually fold down it's got the hinges here and uh it's got a full oper got a full operating station here sure but uh it was raining like I said earlier and try to keep everything beauty of the Seattle boat show in February yeah um well
