Unreal5 Niagra VFX: Falling Sakura Cherry Blossom Particles -

so you just want that dramatic classic cherry blossom falling effect not a problem right click Niagara system blowing particles plus finish name it open it and you probably want to increase the spawn rate to something like 50. now I personally think it looks better when you change the lifespan of each pedal to something longer like 15 and 35 probably change the color to something like pink too and to add some diversity amongst the size let's go from 2 to 15. the area of the effect takes a place is controlled by the sphere here it defaults to 300 but we probably want to make it something like 900 and all the wind falling stuff is controlled over here so if you want to add a lot of wind just bump these numbers all the way up and you're done really you can adjust the drag if you want but the defaults are usually pretty good and this is actually one of the few effects that I noticed that collisions are much better if you leave Target Sim on CPU when you change it to GPU a lot of the flower petals start to go through the ground and stuff so if you're just rendering a scene for a video CPU might look a little better hope that helps then as as always hope you have a fantastic day and I'll see you around foreign
