Unlocking an Abandoned Semi & Towing It Away For CHP

hello everybody today we are here in desert center going to be towing this Peterbilt tractor here CHP called the it's been abandoned here for a few days so they called the owner and he said he doesn't have any funds to fix it so therefore he wants it towed and we're gonna take care of it so this is what happens often with towing companies we get stuck with junk but I took a good trip how are you doing sir so they don't they don't want to fix it yeah I brought a lockout kit so I can get you yeah yeah I brought a lock I did so I should be able to get you in there all right so since I knew it was abandoned I brought the lockout kid with me see if we can get in here [Applause] how long's this been here what's the date today he's been here it amazed me sleeping get into this semi's they're a little tricky sometimes [Applause] [Applause] of course [Applause] [Applause] um [Applause] [Applause] 'malhari yeah that'd be good appreciate it here you want to hold that for me thank you think you got it sweet haven't used this thing this is like for old-school cars all right Eve oh wow usually it's probably got a new fixed remote one let's put our light bar on [Music] really like that grab one more bunch [Music] good to start hooking yeah hi bars are home that's better so I think I need a boom down took down a little bit cereal this one needs to be sled not a fan of the jittered and receivers like the too long thing but to slide him really puts enforcement to holder nice though to the other side 39 clues that should do the trick all right now we got to find a way to get here do it see if it's got a hair connection down here is that so all right negative on that I don't like that so sorry what did you find out from the bin anything [Music] tap the tank down here what they're just some check this out never seen this before custom [Music] yeah cool yeah it's funny our door all right hang on our white Pete does the same thing at supplying air let it fill up [Music] get our axial tie-downs out that [Music] see if we can get the brakes to really [Music] [Music] because later it's sort of hang up hung up should be good to bring it in [Music] okay good with that let's cheat it down [Music] [Music] a little this is the way this chart set up to tie stuff down so that's how we do can't say I'm a particular fan of how long it takes but it's pretty secure we'll get at that [Music] oh good ngo5 more mantis luckily Peterbilt is pretty easy to pull I say Karma [Music] is half which is a pretty good guess for Peterbilts feature built-in cameras aircrafts I love it when they go like that it's quick oh cool do you need a bailout here do you need a bailout here okay I just need like three more minutes I just need throw two more chains [Music] pull forward and just bring kind of a dip here all right - all right appreciate it be safe out there okay let's get this thing on the flat ground check I sure feel amazing and eat all right Henry what are you going to peddling now that we're on level ground let's get out check all right that's why we check will put a little more tilts into it back and we'll take up a little bit of slack [Music] okay some of towels take a quick little walk around check everything again dive lines there [Applause] all right did you uh it's one thing I don't like about this truck doesn't have a warning let you know hey hey dummy your PTO he's got to remember [Music] chains on axle we got there six chain so we got air drivelines pool lights good to me everything's roll so how we take it back to the earth possible YouTube fan or just possible respecter of tow trucks so on this truck we'll actually all of our trucks if you to get air back there you have to have your red pushed in so we do have our red pushed in and that was verified by actually heard air go into the system of the truck that were telling here so just get on the freeway here hopefully that Sun isn't boiling you guys all right we are moving we're about 55 mile an hour looking at everything making sure of these all right the trucks tracking real street yeah I don't see any sparks flying or anything like that which might may indicate that we have a change dragon or anything like that yeah it's pulling all right no like resistance when I like know the accelerator which would indicate maybe that the brakes are hung up a little bit yeah I'm gonna go and take this about 50 miles back to our yard and we see you when we get to the drop-off it may be really dark so I may record it we'll see but if I don't report it thank you for watching guys as always like comment subscribe let me know in the comments what you think about the video we'll see on the next one thanks guys [Music]
