we gonna talk about it here let's go welcome to the music news for the streets I'm your Anchorman some some hit the keys and in today's newscast it's all about the freebies and I got a couple of good deals for you guys today so our top story today comes from Eunice Eunice and I Unison audio you gotta be kidding me they're like the herpes of the music production Community it's like we can't get rid of them we're stuck with them for life well it looks like apparently Unison audio has dropped a free plug-in yeah believe it or not a free plug-in let's take a look at it so over here we see zen master um it's basically a multi-effect plug-in um they named it a bunch of BS because you know we couldn't just tell us that this was I don't know detune and widening couldn't tell us that this was maybe a wobble effect couldn't tell us that this was maybe a bit Crusher you know obviously this is going to be noise and then this is going to be I don't know Reverb you know it is what it is but I did check it out um so let's go ahead and check it out actually in action so I put it on this piano this is what the piano sounds like before I threw Zen Master on there all right so now let's go ahead and throw the Zen Master on there and see what it sounds like [Music] so ultimately this is a Lo-Fi effect um you know you have a few different presets in here so let's go ahead and go through some of the presets and see what those sounds like this is obviously initialized but we'll go through some more presets [Music] all right [Music] so as you can see there you can get a bunch of different tones from this obviously you guys know I always uh take a hot steam induce on Unison audio every time I get a chance to because there's still a scummy company uh but you know what I'm saying this is a little low-fi plug-in it's I you know what I'm saying it's not bad you know what I'm saying I got to be the truth I can't sit up here and just cap even though I want to it's all right there's things that I would change obviously like maybe the Reverb you know let me get some room size and some other stuff like that uh maybe just change the words to what they should be but you know I'm not going to complain and as you can see in the background when you start messing with these knobs you get different animations too so that's kind of you know that's not for me but I'm gonna let you guys know that that's all there just so you guys can see it and you know uh you know what's there and stuff so you know if you like this one go get it all right guys so our next story today comes from audio FB um basically they have dropped the free synthesizer for us they say it is AI and basically you can use AI to generate new sounds so let's go ahead and take a look at that so as we look here at the synthesizer you see here it looks kind of crazy um so you have all kinds of different routing and everything here on the synthesizer so you know you have color you have modify you have saturation up here you can change all the waveforms and do a bunch of different stuff so you see they have different waveforms here um you can modify the wave right here um there's 20 different presets in this then you have some more controls down here at the bottom so what we're going to do is I'm just going to push play real quick and I'm going to go through a couple of the presets and then I'm going to show you guys what the generate does um and then you know you can check it out and see if you like it yourself so this is what the initial preset sounds like now with that you can come down here and you can actually just hit this generate button and you have the option to go similar sound or you have the option to go with chaos so we'll start off and we'll go with a similar sound and then we'll push generate and then boom it's going to change that up for us now as you see there we can hit generate again and we can get another sound that's going to be similar so that's pretty dope and it's really easy you know just again generate one more time let's see what it sounds like foreign now we can come over here and hit chaos and now we can make it sound completely more different so boom [Music] [Music] now we can generate another sound for that as well [Music] [Laughter] [Music] so as you can see there you can get some really crazy tones and some really crazy stuff going on so I'm not going to lie to you guys this is pretty cool the one thing that you don't get is you don't get to go under the hood unless you get the full version so boom you have to buy the full version to get under the hood and mess with some of this but it's a pretty cool free synth you can get a lot of cool sounds I did get some really cool sounds and some good Patty sounds earlier I should have saved those presets but I did not so in breaking news foreign I guess it's kind of breaking news I don't know anybody who uses Mixcraft 10 but I thought I'd bring you guys the story so and so this is what Mixcraft 10 currently looks like so let's go ahead and see what they say so they say Mixcraft 10 includes several improvements that provide users a highly customizable experience that puts them in complete control of their creative process menus have been simplified and now can be pinned open the project start window plug-in manager piano roll automation tools Library mixer panels have all been enhanced additionally users can customize project settings plug-in Collections and hotkey assignments and blah blah blah blah blah so it looks like they're kind of trying to get up to the times that most other dolls um so if you're a mixed craft fan you know go ahead and get the new version it looks like they have some upgrades and up next I have another freebie for you guys and this one's from Superfly DSP it's called Flying Reverb so when you take a look over here at flying Reverb it looks like a basic Reverb I know you're like oh we got enough reverbs yo yo yo this Reverb is fire so it's not going to be super complex or nothing like that but it does some pretty cool things and so um basically I have it on this vocal right here and this is what the vocal sounds like all right but once I threw this on there like this Reverb it has like formant and like I don't know you'll hear it when I when I when I turn it on but it makes the vocal sound really dope it gives you like a little backing lower lower end vocal s [Music] now you can mess with it and you can change it until you can get like different uh tones and stuff like that so [Music] I always wanted something like and it's got tape on it it's got a low pass a high pass filter so you know it's pretty dope you can mess with the the size and everything like that right here [Music] [Music] and so what's cool about that is in the beat it actually sounds pretty dope too so I'll just let you guys hear what it sounds like in this little Loop that I put together [Music] so obviously that's not mixed all the way down but you can hear um just that lower that lower volume of the voice just adding so much more to the chorus there it's super dope so I would recommend checking this one out it's free as well
