the Knicks are favored to beat the Pacers in the next round they're favored to beat the Pacers by 6 and A2 in game one at Madison Square Garden Celtics of course will be heavy favorites to beat the winner of magic Cavs so Paul Pierce how much of a threat do Jaylen Brunson and the gritty Nicks ultimately POs to the Celtics now you you don't even think they're going to get past the the Pacers I mean they got a lot they got they work cut out for him I mean I like the N you know it's a Feelgood story it's great to have the Knicks in the playoffs though for the NBA I mean I mean they probably starting to turn into America's team right now because you look at Jaylen Brunson sort of like the underdog when you compare him to like all the other superstars in the playoffs I mean he's not as heralded as say Luca Dage or the Joker or even Jason Tatum you know so people can gravitate toward of Jaylen Brunson but as far as having any chance against the cers or let alone the Pacers do they have a shot yeah but I think the Pacers are a little bit more they have a little more depth yeah you know when I see the Knicks going seven deep you know and and really six deep it's like they they're getting run into the ground I know they young guys they're in shape but I just it's hard for me to see them playing six guys seven guys in the course of a series if it goes six or seven I just think the Pacers with the way they the style of play is how they get up and down the court how how they got some some Rough Rider uh type players on their team too I just seem like I think Indiana is going to win the series so I mean let alone get to the selage if they get to the selage then they gonna be too tired by timeing to get there that we'll probably sweep them well I thought I thought skips to throw you a curveball here because I'm going to put the kiss of death on your Celtics I don't believe they will lose another game in the Eastern Conference playoffs the Eastern Conference playoffs I think we're going to see back-to-back sweeps because I do think Cleveland will prevail in seven games and then you will Orlando against Orlando and and that that you will sweep Cleveland right and then I do believe the Knicks will prevail in seven games over the Pacers but it'll take seven and you know what it could be just as exciting to watch as what we just saw because I think this is going to be classic shootout stuff between these two teams okay because they're going to play fast and they're going to score a lot and Indie is fun to watch because they have a bunch of people who can flat out score the basketball and the Knicks are kind of a oneman show but when the others come to the party in the fourth quarter they're fun to watch and they are America's team and a they start they starting to become that I I think all the talk over the next two three weeks however long it takes two weeks will be about the Knicks and I think they'll Prevail and they will get to the Celtics but I cannot ignore what happened the first four times you played the New York Knicks this year before that one debatable game you know they they played but they didn't play you know they showed up throw that out with the the previous four games Boston won by four then by 16 then by 10 and then by 14 and to your point Jaylen Brunson looking at I'm just saying in in those four Boston wins Jaylen Brunson averaged 25 a game he just AED yeah 36 against the Sixers he just averaged in six games all right so 25 a game why was that well you you already said why it was it's Drew holiday and Derek white because you you got a tag team of highlevel Defenders hard-nosed smart C crafty physical both of them both of them are and if we want if you want to put some height and length on them we going to go Jaylen Brown yeah Tatum they're not known as off uh uh all all defense yeah but would you agree that they they some pretty good Defenders yeah they're pretty good yeah I mean Jaylen Brown's arguably one of the best two-way players in the game look there's no question about the Knicks being an underdog if they see the Celtics anybody else for that matter in the east question was do they
