there's really no better feeling than coming home after a long day and just relaxing while watching the game it's an opportunity to turn your brain off and chill but if you were to take the time to ever stop and smell the roses you might actually notice a few details if you were to do so so here's a list of things that were right in front of your face but you just didn't realize it enjoy the video back in 2010 t-mobile came out with this commercial where d wade is trapped in his hotel room and says this as a cry for help get me out of here get me out of wade wants out of miami d-ray bought the trade what but instead of everyone coming to his rescue they took that as a message that he wanted out of miami and when he eventually did end up a chicago bull many years later in 2016 social media credited this commercial for predicting that outcome but there's another 2010 d wade commercial that is even more strange nightmares never sleep if you pause it just right you can barely see that one of those ghostly figures has a full-on bulls uniform and if you think about it wade has came out and said he's always dreamed of one day playing for chicago so is that just a crazy coincidence or was it some intentional foreshadowing for what was to come either way just the whole atmosphere of the commercial itself creeps me out and you know what they say dreams slash nightmares do come true 2003 the united states versus puerto rico in a pre-olympic qualifying game trace mcgrady and this guy whose name is eddie cassiano were going at each other all game it was getting real chippy between them and this play is evident of that two-second differential between the shot clock and the game clock castiano having all kinds of problems with mcgrady who picks his pocket here's t-max go ahead [Music] as you can see right here the two had a little bit of a shoving match which led to mcgrady stealing the ball and decided to turn around and pause for a second to taunt him by showing him the ball and after that the benches cleared to break things up as vince carter came to the defense of his cousin now i used to watch this clip all the time when i was younger but never noticed this small little detail until i rewatched it recently this angle shows a cup landing on sharif fajardo of the puerto rico team which if i had to guess was thrown by somebody from the crowd you might not think it's the biggest deal but remember that's exactly what started the malice at the palace situation so this could have easily turned into one of those episodes if cooler heads did not prevail we all are familiar with this iconic moment right after the boston celtics won the 2008 nba championship anything's possible [Music] when it comes to post game interviews that's definitely right up there with this one [Music] i think it's safe to say that every nba fan absolutely loves this moment it's one of the most memorable quotes of all time but what if i told you that he wasn't supposed to quite say it like that you see reports say that kg was trying to promote adidas who he was with at the time but screwed up by saying anything is possible instead of the company's actual slogan impossible is nothing and it was said that adidas was not too pleased by how things went down and what makes this even more hilarious is that anything is possible was actually the slogan for leaning at the time so even though this clip will be forever inspirational to us adidas will only remember it as a disaster in order for the referees to get the call right they can't just watch the game on a monitor from some backstage room it is required that they have a front row seat to the action right there on the court to make sure that they don't miss anything but on december 30 2008 during this one particular play they were blind as a bad the celtics were taken on the blazers in portland and in the final seconds of the first half the refs didn't notice that the trailblazers actually had six players on the court instead of five creating a big disadvantage for boston which led to the blazers easily scoring the basketball and it's crazy how kevin garnett was the only one on the floor to notice it as he was screaming trying to get the referee's attention now portland did receive a technical foul for having too many players in the game but according to the rule the bucket could not be taken off of the scoreboard because it had already been counted this one play caused so much commotion that the nba was forced to change the rule soon after now i caught this next one in my very own room i've had this poster for a couple years now just a pretty normal picture of kobe dunking but when i saw the 2k21 mamba forever trailer something seemed a little different about the image apart from it being a painting if you take a look at his shoes you would see that they decided to switch them up the real-life original picture shows that he was wearing a pair of the kobe 2s from adidas while this 2k edition that kinda resembles the nike 2k4 haraches if i'm not mistaken maybe not a hundred percent but still very similar and it looks like that might have actually been a smart move on their part because these kobe 2s are infamously known as one of the most ugliest signature sneakers of all time and even kobe himself was not a huge fan of the design either as you know he did eventually switch over to nike so i guess it does make sense to repaint what he was wearing to go along with the nike swoosh that was added as well all i'm saying is i kind of feel proud that i instantly spotted it even if it's not the biggest of deals here we have gary payton and ray allen let's just say that if you were to do some comparing you might be a little surprised about how many details in their career are very similar both players were once the star for the seattle supersonics both also played for the milwaukee bucks at one point in time in fact they were actually traded for each other both were the number 20 when they were with boston both ended up winning a ring with miami then wound up retiring after those titles a year later ending their career with the heat they both were obviously bald and finally they both happened to be born in the month of july all i can say is that's pretty remarkable february 2015 in portland westbrook is at the line trying to cut it to a one point game which he does as he would immediately get shoved to the ground right after but with little to no time left andre roberson wasn't able to help russ up so he decided to just try and hop over him instead but westbrook also tried to defend the inbounds play but he got up at the same time roberson leaped over him leading to an inadvertent knee colliding with russell's face now obviously when a player takes a hard hit to the face you do expect them to grimace a little and to take a second to recover but we were all shocked once he removed his hand away from his face because a big old dent was present on the side of his right cheek and i'm sure we can all agree that looks pretty painful i remember watching this game thinking to myself what the hell happened to his cheek then after several replays i found out why and a couple days later he would undergo facial surgery to repair the fracture alright guys let me know if there's a small little detail that you've noticed before involving the nba i would love to know down in the comments below also hit that like button don't forget to subscribe thanks for watching
