from rumors about a potential release date being announced speculations about how the siblings will survive without their powers season 4 is setting up to be quite the event but when is it coming back on Netflix it's been confirmed that season 4 is already well underway [Music] where we were born he hated us in 63. boom but before you start shedding tears of joy just know that this will also be the show's final season yeah I know it's a Bittersweet feeling well let's focus on the positive side shall we the show's Creator Steve Blackman said in a statement that he was so excited that the incredible fans of the Umbrella Academy are going to get to see the ending they all deserve for a journey that we started five years ago I can't even believe it's been that long Steve also promised that season 4 would have us on the edge of our seats until the final minutes now that's one way to get the fans excited and don't get me started on that end credit sequence Ben was definitely up to something the family may be going International oh wow that's what took Stanley along with a few other billion people here who I didn't know and don't care about so let's get ready because the next chapter of the Umbrella Academy is going to be epic but back to the original question when will it be released unlike some other Netflix shows that have a regular release date pattern the Umbrella Academy seems to have a more spontaneous approach season one dropped in February 2019. season two came out at the end of July 2020 and we had to wait until mid-june 2022 for season three thanks a lot covid so when can we expect season four the smart money is on a rough June or July release but I'm guessing it won't be until 2024. I know I know that seems like forever away but there's a ton of work that goes into bringing a dozen strong cast and a load of visual effects to life unless they start filming ASAP it's unlikely to be ready within a year Steve Blackman gave us a sneak peek in November 2022 by sharing the cover page for the season premiere script and guess what the title is the unbearable tragedy of getting what you want what could that even mean I don't know about you but I'm dying to find out but will we get enough time to find out since there are only six episodes this time around the upcoming fourth season will be the show's last before and he's doing it again now come on five I don't know he lost the vote to come through the tunnel yet here we are really sure that he could go Luther I think he think each of us without breaking a moral sweat and yes to make things worse it's going to be the shortest season yet with just six episodes that's not nearly enough time to spend with our favorite Gallagher and Victor played by Elliot page so yeah they're all confirmed to be back other characters are confirmed to return to including calm Fury as Reginald Hargreaves and Justin H Min as Ben it looks like Ben will be on his own mission at first but I'm excited to see how his storyline will unfold what are they up to who the Umbrella Academy use your head number two last time we saw the sparrow Academy version of him which was still technically him since it was played by the same actor and I'm hoping it's the same this time around meanwhile Allison's fate at the end of season three left the fans scratching their heads and at least she's returning to wrap up her story as well but the office was hella divided on this one folks I'm not really sure if I even want to see her again while we're on the topic of characters whose Fates are up in the air let's talk about Stanley Lila and Diego's fake child he disappeared during the kugel Blitz and we're all wondering if he's going to make a reappearance but hey let's not lose hope just yet as we all know time travel and dimension hopping are not exactly off the table in this universe so who knows even those who have met their maker could make a comeback we're keeping our fingers crossed for Jordan Claire Robbins to reprise her role as the family Android and de facto mother figure Grace so yeah the gang is coming back for another season but we're all wondering what kind of crazy new apocalypse will be dealing with this time we don't know much about the world they'll be facing but we do know that none of them have their powers anymore that could be a major problem if things go south our boy Luther is on a mission to find his missing wife Sloan who didn't make it through the elevator with the rest of the group did she get lost in the shovel or is something more Sinister going on meanwhile Diego and Lila are trying to live a normal life after their time as badass superheroes well we all know that can't last forever the biggest mystery of all is Allison's fate is she alive or dead after being sent to a new world with her daughter Claire and husband Ray my gut tells me she's in her own personal heaven but if she gets pulled out of that it's going to be a bumpy ride especially considering how she was spiraling down a dark path before will the gang be able to save the world once again without their powers will they ever find Allison and will Luther ever catch a break in the love Department we'll have to wait and see when the new season drops one thing we know for sure is that things are going to be a bit complicated you for Allison she's been sent to a new world where her daughter Claire and ex-husband Rey exist in the same timeline but in different eras it's like a game of time traveling Tetris and I'm not sure how it's all going to fit together speaking of complicated Victor is going to be dealing with life without his best friend Allison it's going to be tough adjusting to his new life maybe he'll find love or a family of his own and let's not forget about Reginald Hargreaves the manipulative genius slash dad slash alien who was finally reunited with his late wife it's kind of romantic if you think about it except for the fact that his attempts to get her back cause potential genocide and ruin countless lives will he go back to living a quiet life or continue to disregard the chaos he's created but one thing is for sure trouble is brewing that much was clear even in the finale of the third season and since none of them had their powers anymore this could be trouble if the world needs saving again all in all we're in for a wild ride in season four and I can't wait to see what's in store for the higher Greece well those are all the Umbrella Academy Season 4 details that have
