Ultra High Grade Gold Vein In A Heavily Mineralized Outcrop!

all right everyone hope everyone's having a good day what we're doing today is we're sampling an area where a logging company just exposed some sub crop and they exposed a bunch of stringers with sulfides and we are going to be taking a few samples and seeing if there's anything inside them so right now what we're doing is we're grabbing some grab samples you can see here this is quartz right here looks like it's primarily pyrite you go over to chalcopyrite in there so you got it's fairly coarse grained but you do have some fine grained pyrite as well so here's another sample so these are either found as solid sulfide veins or you'll find it mixed with quartz and then in your host rock which is your chests you'll find your pirate and chalcopyrite found as disseminations like this just spread throughout the rock all right so you got more sulfides here it's pretty deteriorated so what we're gonna do we just want to make sure what's in here so we're gonna be doing a 51 element ICP analysis and we're gonna do a fire assay for gold all right you got very decomposed oh crap here looks like there's a couple deteriorated quartz veins in there so this is what we're kinda interested in looking at here so this is this is actually your sulfides here so this is really really decomposed as you can see maybe we'll take another sample here and try and pan this out you can see the oxidized to rock there you got some quartz feldspar in there some calcite but look at the look at the sulfides just peels right out so we'll take a sample here we'll pan it out and see if there's any free gold in it but what we want to do is we want to condense a pill and send that in so we're we're gonna send in grabs up what we found on the road as well as a sediment sample from down below here and then we're gonna be sending a sample from this as well and we'll do a couple pans and show you exactly if there is any gold just before I go I just thought I'd show you how loose this beam is here you can literally scrape it off with your finger that right there is just sulfides hopefully there's some gold miss this is a gold bearing area so would be nice all right now another panning all right so we got our sample of sulfides here you can see the stuff on top that's actually mica schist so it looks really shiny and can fool ya but that's not that great you don't want it see how it just washes off the top so let's see what we got we know we know what's in here because we got the South flow results back already we just don't know what we'll find in the fan this was pretty much pure sulfides we took a half-pound sample just to pan I wasn't expecting that looks like tiny little chunks of gold we'll see if it stays in the pan then we'll know if it's actually gold you know I think that is good that's gold for sure [Applause] don't think they want to take it down any farther that's definitely gold there there's a lot of different kinds of sulfides in here part a pyrite chalcopyrite hematite you got free gold in there for sure though definitely a piece of gold another piece of gold awesome we'll put the assay result after so you can know exactly how much Gold's in here a couple more pieces of gold all right I hope you enjoyed this video we're gonna be going back to that place for sure and your sample analysis will be right after this thanks for watching everyone you
