UKFP 2025 Eligibility Application

United Kingdom in today's video we're going to be looking at the eligibility application for UK FP 2025 the UK FP has released the date for the eligibility application and it's going to be open from Wednesday the 3rd of July 2024 9:00 a.m. British summer time to Tuesday the 23rd of July 2024 12:00 British summer time we're going to look at a little information on what the eligibility application is what we need to make an application and how to submit an application I do have a video on the key changes for UK P 2025 and I also have a video for the timelines of previous years and you can check those two videos out as well there is an update concerning the ielt one Skool retake at the time of recording the video on the key changes it was stated on the UK fp's website that if applicants wish to take advantage of the one skill retake their results would have to be available on the verification portal by the start of the Foundation program they also stated that they were not going to consider any pending or unpublished results from the one SK we take but at the moment that has changed that Clause is no longer on the website and what is there is that the UK FP must be able to view your results in the verification portal so this implies that applicants still have the whole of the eligibility application period to submit the results for any English test be the O be the iOS or even if you took advantage of the one skill retake so what is the eligibility application eligibility application is just a pre-application for the foundation program and if at the end of the process you are deemed eligible or eligible with conditions you would have to submit the main application for Foundation program which is usually done in September you would have to submit an eligibility application if you are studying or you graduated from a non-uk Medical University if you graduated from a UK Medical University before the 5th of August 2023 you would also be required to submit an eligibility application and finally if you are a graduate of a UK medical school campus outside of the United Kingdom you would also be required to submit an eligibility application there are two steps to submit in the eligibility application the first step is to register and create an account on oral and then fill out an eligibility application form Orel is an online application portal which is used for medical training in the United Kingdom the option to register and fill out an eligibility application for UKF 2025 will be accessible once the eligibility application window opens on the 3rd of July so you can fill that out anytime between 3rd of July 2024 900 a.m. up until the 23rd of July 2024 12:00 British summer time after registering and creating your account you would have to upload your supporting evidence on oral and then submit your eligibility application there is a link to a PDF that has screenshots on how the process would go on the UKF website and I will link that down in the description box so to what we need to create the account and what we need to upload as supporting evidence first of all you need to provide evidence of your primary medical qualification if you have already completed and you already have your medical degree you would have to upload a copy of that if you have not completed and you are expected to complete by the 31st of August 2024 or if you have completed but do not have your degree in hand there is a template for a letter that has to be filled out by your University that you would upload as proof of your medical qualification I will have the link to that letter in the description box as well next you need to provide evidence of your English language proficiency and that can be done in three ways you can use your primary medical qualification if you studied in a country that the GMC considers to have English as the first native language I will have the L L to the list of countries in the description box you can also use the IELTS academic or use the O medicine for I academic you need to have achieved a minimum score of 7.5 in each skill which is the Reading Writing listening and speaking and for oet medicine you need to have achieved a minimum of 400 in each section when filling out your application form you must make sure that your IL CRF or oet candidate number is correct to ensure that the UK FP is able to view your results as you can't make any changes after your application has been submitted you must have a proof of ID either through your passport or a government issued ID as well if the names on your passport or ID do not match with the name on your medical degree you must have some documentation to prove uh the change of name or to prove that it is the same person evidence of right to work is not required at the point of application and if you are successfully allocated to a Foundation program when the time is due sponsorship will be arranged for you if you do not have the right to work you must be eligible for provisional registration with the GMC you will have to provide evidence of having passed your PL or evidence of having booked your PL by the deadline that will be provided for that if you graduated from medical school either on or before the 5th of August 2023 you will also be required to take the clinical assessment so please do not forget that the eligibility application window opens on the 3rd of July 2024 9:00 a.m. British summer time and it's going to be open until the 23rd of July 2024 12:00 British summer time if you are going to be submitting an application for
