and commencement. Set up is in full swing. Meanwhile, over at UCLA, the Chancellor has announced a new campus safety office. It's being created following the violence that erupted on campus last week. Fox Levin's Chelsea Edwards is live at UCLA with details for us. Chelsea Susan. The goal here is to prevent the events that we saw here last week from ever happening here on this campus again. As you can see behind me, the encampment is now clear. Cleanup crews have still been here working. They've been overseen by UCLA police, sheriff's deputies and security guards. And today, UCLA Chancellor Gene block announced a newly created office of campus Safety, whose leader is going to oversee all the safety operations here on campus. Take a look at this quote. It's clear that UCLA needs a unit leader whose sole responsibility is campus safety, to guide us through tense times. At least 15 people were injured, and yesterday the union that represents police officers at UC schools blamed UCLA administrators for what they called a lack of response to last week's violence. Now, people here on campus say something needs to change. I think they're trying just to do like the best they can do to keep people safe. So, I mean, I think they're trying the best for security, so I just let them do what they do. Now, I will say it's an extremely quiet day on campus. We've done a loop all around this quad and have seen very few students, not a lot of people here. On this Sunday afternoon, this beautiful Sunday afternoon, I might add, on this Cinco de Mayo. So haven't talked to many about how they feel about this new organizational structure, but w
