can't wait to hear your interviews and all the other stuff that you're going to talk about here with the sidelines but we begin with coach ronnie uh usd is back while the lsu is back where they're so used to being in the final four it's good that the communities have come out and they're all excited for this uh matchup that's correct for usd first time in the final four in the last five years only remnant of their final four team five years ago latitude semi-finals but they've over achieved something coach conference and they deserve to be in this spot but right now they have to hurdle mount la salle a school that is in the final four for the ninth straight year and looking for its ninth straight finals appearance i think set up so i think uh final four going into the finals i think normal traditional final four and eventually finished the top spot for the third straight year twelve in two laban's field octopus at eight and six tell us to finish with 11 wins the three loss as well usd went once again from outside of the final four in the last four years to being in the number three spot accounting for nine wins in 14 matches to be able to cross into the semis seamlessly second round you know uh coach ronnie other than the number one team which is these are two of the hottest teams going into the final four you're talking about lasalle that uh almost swept that second round except for that last game against ateneo and then you're talking about the ust team that started the season one and three right and has won eight out of its last 10 to make it to number three and the psychological disadvantage though for the golden tiger says coach ronnie is the fact that they've lost both elimination round outings and that is something that they have to overcome especially against 18 which seems to us always imposed its will lavandi to say usd especially in the last two meetings if you notice in the first meeting [Music] the service aces [Music] that high for a very high scoring attack oh yes yes the second round meeting all in all lasalle has 21 aces compared to six parody to say usd in two games that they have met samantha alan young killed blackstone lasalle been able to beat lasalle this year twice they lost to ateneo and once they were defeated by yupita best convincingly going back to what pumas was saying earlier one of the best defensive teams in the competition number one in blocks number one in reception at reception but if there's one thing that usd has it is but one thing has to come into play for usd today effectivity no plane making nila infohardo at the top of the heap but right now for usd it's time them late play making for cabanas defending champions are ready to roar but so are the golden tigers and we'll talk more about them finals usd of course has to do it the hard way but they're back in the final four and that's what's important it's going to start the day for them if they want to win and force a rubber match which will be on wednesday let's talk about the defending champions who as we said are six and one in the second round that one losses that loss that they're coming from right now from their arch rivals coach running and so far for the second straight time lasalle will be frustrated by the ateneo lady eagles are first round eventually they lost that matchup and in their second meeting they won the first at this time versus ateneo before being swept in the next three sets all in all problems just to put it simply too many errors versus the lady eagles very uncharacteristic for the reigning champions but all that is passed hopefully for them they will meet ateneo once again in the title battlefield wesley has other things in mind they want to send the series into a sudden death base of congress we talked about masala and their defense we also know that they're loaded on offense they've got weapons all over but those weapons will not be utilized correctly if they don't have or they did not bring back this uh incredible captain of theirs who's really not only setting the table for the teammates sets the table for herself sometimes pretty much the most offensive center we have in the league right now no doubt he was the top she was the top setter last year in season 17. unanswered prayer given that she decided to play out her final year i call her the heartbeat of lasalle's offense name it she has won it two-time uap champion two-time best setter in the uav right now she is the best scottish setter once again to prosper to their ninth straight final appearance just was very inconsistent and she admitted it she was coming back from the injury coming back into the uav mentally all the social media pressures she talked about that before in the second round she seemed to have erased all of that physical standpoint mental standpoint she plays the game with joy and freely and she has more than doubled her productive production rather here in the second round and she was even named as a player of the week here in the uap a total of 103 points after two rounds but only 31 points at the end of the first round this palaron pambansa mvp in 2013 comes out of hope christian high school is only 20 years old all right reception efficiency at 43.7 percent second best behind john mccandelli and she no doubt is a two-way player was 45 lasalles floor defense to the as we get things going here in the final four we earlier talked about the lsu let's talk about their opponents here in today's matchup the golden tigers ust their best records since season 75 their number they're back in the final four since season 74 that's the story but they've really also come up with gut wrenching uh character building and even emotional wins in this season none bigger than the last one against national university uh emotional because they made it to the final four after that win and they bucked an injury to ej right end of that match they defeated up three sets to none and then came from behind to bring down the mighty new lady bulldogs they withstood a monster game from the top offensive weapon of the lady bulldogs to score 30 points at the end of santiago they were able to get uh double figures scoring from four players led by the 22 of ej and twenty two of c7 i saw that game that you covered full of drama full of color down two sets and then equalizing in the third and fourth sets and in the fifth set [Music] that take over eventually the entire ust community celebrated the efforts of tin francisco three reminiscences and of course palm las tumosa and effort with their net defense usd needs to rebound they have to stay close if not build the lead because in the first set it was a wire to wire wind down the lasalle made the archers that of course he's available but in all seriousness um what did usd do right tactically other than the intangibles of staying in there and cutting it out and having heart tactically what did they do better to stay alive in this manner well i thought that wonder floor defense was solid to their block their blocking was also efficient and number three sicabanos but i thought that she was a very good playmaker especially in the end game for ust going to multiple points of attack and her teammates delivered of course led by uh the fiery cc vending and for a while lasalle imploded committing too many unforced errors and characteristic of a champion team but remember that they lost also destruction for a time while she was being treated but right now they have to understand that usd is for real and they themselves and that was once again brought up by coach ramil himself who explained that the heirs are not with their opponents but rather with the lady spikers and he did urge the girls to make the necessary adjustments in order to avoid forcing another separate afternoon now as they face the tigers just once again in september 4th the lady spikers were told that if they really want this the girls will play for each other and not give this game away and that is exactly what we could hope to see from all six on the floor that's you being ronnie and this is a good start for your team up there because where they want to be to be up 4-0 in a set number four and this is something that usd was not hoping that it would happen because in the third set they had a very good early lead then four point earlier in the fourth foreign they wasted the momentum that they had at the end of that third set coach and now they're down four remember what you said earlier usd has to build an early lead put pressure on lasalle force them to make mistakes third [Applause] and they still cannot get a point here they're down five and now some subs coming in or at least one backrest will come in
