Tyler Seguin Breaks Down His Tattoos | GQ Sports

I want to say when I first got to my team there's maybe one other guy with tattoos and now there's almost half the team have something Kassie myself yeah I'll go with myself I'm Tyler Seguin and this is my tattoo tour I grew up in Brampton Ontario a lot of people have had tattoos but was more the hockey players that were older than me on their back they usually had their nationality or their family coat of arms I was 16 years old when I got my first tattoo I was moving away if we move out as at a younger age for hockey around 1516 so I felt like I could kind of do my own thing well legally yes but I did not do that legally so I could probably see more and talk with more one of my shirts off my first tattoo it says my last name Seguin but in case I forget my last name but if you actually look at the eye it's kind of off because anyone go over that mark right there my dad ended up getting the same one which made it a little bit cooler my father used to say wear your heart in your sleeve so I literally got a heart on my sleeve in the heart is the birth dates of my kind of members got words that important to me on my left arm perseverance Brotherhood family loyalty honor and the family tree coming around it the triangles Mutulu sisters so my one triangle is finished because I'm the firstborn my other sister the middle one has the second triangle finished and then the youngest one has the other one finished I'm Greek so I put passion one way and strength the other way on this bicep we got Toronto to the CN tower there I was a child I'm from and then my streets I grew up on in Brampton and then I know five five candles back here for my family members who got something my dad used to always say Invictus I'm the master of my fate I am the captain of my soul timepiece in the back my coat of arms is on one of these guardian angels [Music] favorite tattoo probably this one Stanley Cup champions Boston Bruins 2011 it was awesome Sports City hockey town I had one long time exhausted the 531 is laid to hockey and a lot of people always say like what does it mean you know his 246 blah blah so one other person my manager who got the 531 and both got it and to this day we've never told anybody what it means it has mean to both of us giving my little sister you can imagine her always all over me but what does it mean but with Naruto so I'm not gonna here so then I have my one chest done wolf spirit lion passion and I get chirped a lot or made fun of a lot from people I don't even know about my nipples oh this nipple not being done so I want to say live now that I'm finishing this chest and I'll have my nipples blacked out that you heard it here first yeah I do have one more tattoo that not many people know about how's yourself GQ so mine's a short ear I got a little stick man at merripit down there I probably should've shaved but so I was embossing tattooed one day and all my friends came we're having beers and everything a dad and one guy asked the tattoo artist where's most painful spot he said our pits I found are pretty painful so I said all right let's do the armpit and all my other buddies got little stick mans and one guy's got like Nike shoes on his and I don't know the dumbest tattoo I got if you want to say they're all painful I don't give details away yet hopefully you guys want to call back and do another shoot and I can show you my new chest but definitely gonna do the other chest I say there's a 80 to 90 percent probability I do my nipples and then my plan is when I have kids I'll do my back and have them engraved in that stuff it's an expression of yourself it's art I enjoy them and I'm all for it
