it's been a while since the last time I made an interview so let me take a second to say I am back and today I want to share my excitement for these latest ANC earbuds of 2023 all around that hundred dollar price range and they pack amazing features for their price so without further Ado let's get started right now [Music] good morning everyone Kenneth here and welcome to my review of these three new earbuds from soundcore feel and ear fun and I'm gonna throw in one popular earbud that I finally got a chance to try out this is the Oppo NCO X2 as always I will be sharing my own honest opinion here including the goods and the bads we're gonna focus on the most important things and mindful disclosure is in the description below and if you appreciate what I do please help me support the channel by buying through the affiliate links below thank you so much and let's check out the first one which is the nicest earbuds design I've ever seen yet this is the 105 bucks feel CC Pro 2. my goodness Feel Never Fails to impress every one of their product is like a work of art and this is one of their best yet especially when you compare it to the OG Phil CC Pro which is made of plastic this is Miles better with the same aluminum outer case you get on cc2 CC Nano all great half in earbuds by the way you can check out my review here but I digress talking about this lidless design the magnets are strong enough to keep the earbuds in as I've never found them fall out by themselves and probably my only nitpick for the case is the lack of any pairing button or battery indicator so you need to tap and hold the touch sensor on the earbuds for a couple seconds to put it to pairing mode and for the case battery you have to check it inside the fuel Plus app now moving on to the earbuds there's nothing much changed from the ogcc pro here so I won't go into the details but generally the metal stamp here feels nice they're comfortable enough to wear for hours just one thing to know the ear tip connection here is not your standard one so when you need to you'll have to buy something like the spin fit super fine which is originally made for airpods but the connectors are the same they're linked down below but getting back to the earbuds features wise they're packed with everything you expect in 2023 from ANC transparency wear detection multi-point L DAC and full controls that's a little bit customizable there the customization is done in the field plus app that's available globally now so there's no more dealing with Chinese apps like we did in the past and starting from the controls I especially love the fact that you can freely assign which ANC mode to trigger on each earbud side for example I can put only ANC on right side hold and only transparency on left side hole this makes switching really easy but there are four noise canceling modes in total including monitor mode that blocks low rumbles but still lets in in people talking or windy mode which is sadly still not automatically triggered my only real complaint here is there's no way to skip the normal mode or ANC off mode in between these rotations speaking of the ANC strength wise it's pretty standard where generally the noise around you is about 80 percent reduced but expect some noise bleed in the mid to Upper frequencies which is where usually the new stronger adaptive ANC comes in but don't mistake me it's still an enjoyable experience especially when there's no hissing or EQ change the air pressure is also very minimum just don't expect the mind-blowing reduction as the flagships you have these days now as for transparency mode the story is different since it sounds much more natural than the others in this video probably one of the most open feeling and so you can hear the outside noise just like how it is in real life and when you talk you don't feel like your ears are being clogged as much because your own sound is channeled in it it's a good step into matching what the airpods pro can do but most importantly the pressure of wearing in earbuds is also almost gone in this mode there's a little bit of very slight hissing here but it easily Fades into the background and overall you have a very good experience and you'll love it one thing that I can't really accept these days is the inability to use at least transparency mode when you're only using one earbud and then when you're wearing both earbuds on ANC taking one earbud out does not switch the other one to transparency or keep it in transparency when you're in transparency but rather they simply turn off to normal mode I don't know about you but little things like these are what makes an earbud feel premium but let me know what do you think in the comments below is this an important thing to you alright there are a lot more new features in the app like the Sleep 8 mode that automatically turns on ANC it plays a preset of rain ocean waves or fire sound you can even turn offline mode to let the earbuds play without a connection to your phone which is pretty cool and all voice prompt including calls LED indicator everything will be turned off just to help you sleep the only thing is if you are a side sleeper this earbud shape might be uncomfortable to use until you go into those very very small sleep Focus earbuds other features that you can adjust in this app is multi-point and ldac but sadly the CC Pro 2 can only do either ldac or multi-point so if you want to connect two devices then you have to use SBC or AAC I personally value multi-point more than ldac so it's not a big deal for me but if you need both then there's one for you a bit later and for gaming mode you can turn it on in the app battery wise you get 5 hours with ANC transparency 8 hours without and three more charges in this case which is par for the course I've sold my ogcc Pro quite a while ago so I cannot tell you how it sounds if you upgrade it but what I can tell you is the CC Pro 2 sounds fun it's very loud very Dynamic with Punchy bass at Clear vocals it's a crowd pleaser that works with a wide range of genre from pop rock dance acoustic you can pick it up and enjoy with little issues straight out of the box and that is the way I recommend you to enjoy them since the custom EQ feature leaves a lot to be desired especially when it resets the whole DSP from scratch you cannot start tweaking from an existing EQ like soundcore does or even earphone so I found it really really hard to get a sound that I like which was the case for all field products to date and feel if you are listening please at least let me start tweaking from your default EQ that would be perfect so the original EQ is what I think sounds the best here and that's how far you can go for the sound quality because when you start asking for more instrument separation more micro details that's when you want to look somewhere else fortunately again the perfect sound upgrade to the feel with similar Dynamic Sound signature will be featured in this video and it happens to be the same one that can do both ldac and multi-point but I'm done teasing you let's talk about this mystery earbuds right now and that is the Oppo and Co X2 and you know what scrap my review structure and let's start with a sound quality of this earbuds first because it really is the most important selling point here and starting with the volume it's actually about two clicks less loud than the field but it's still plenty loud the feel is just very loud so no problems on that but man the combination of first ever Dynamic driver plus planer tweeters is really something else my experience with planner iems are reviewed here told me that they are able to put out details you don't expect for their price point and rightfully so this is my first time ever hearing a Dynamic Sound known as Dynamic can be and what I mean is the base is really Punchy but the separation the vocal presence the micro details they're very easy to distinguish they're very clear and very enjoyable to listen to It's powerful all the way across but a really big butt here first time you pair it to your phone you need to download the app called Hey Melody an interesting name if you ask me and immediately change the EQ to enco X classic because I found the three other presets not giving me the vocal presence that I liked but of course it comes down to your preference and speaking of preference there's no way to create your own custom EQ still all of them sounds great it's just the din audio ones are a bit warmer and laid back in the vocals which might be good for you and to maximize on that sound quality the Oppo supports both lhdc and ldac and with the latest firmware update it is the only earbud in this budget range that can do both ldac and multi-point of course if you know others please feel free to let me know in the comments below and I'll be happy to check them out alright about the other features now I've been using these earbuds for months now probably three or more at this point and generally I found myself grabbing it a lot because I know it behaves like an airpods Pro so things like being able to use transparency mode when only using one earbud or automatically switching to transparency when you take the other side out and perfect controls too exactly like the airpods Pro 2 where you can slide along the stem to adjust volume and full track control by pinching the only thing I would nitpick is the split second delay between when you pinch and then it makes a beep and the absence of any feedback when adjusting volume this makes the Oppo to not feel as instant and responsive as the airpods pro 2. furthermore this is an earbud that was released last year right so you get ANC similar to the fuel CC Pro 2 or earphone a little bit later even after your personalization in the app which honestly makes little difference in any earbuds you can expect some noise remaining in the mid-range to higher frequencies things like rumbling road noise plane engine in a flight or people talking these kind of stuff generally it's still good enough it's got no hissing and minimal pressure effect but it's not the airpods Pro 2 or Bose quiet Comfort level now on the other hand transparency mode is a bit of a downer here since even after switching on the enhanced voices mode I still have to focus to hear what I wanted to and the pressure relief is not as good as the feel talking with these on still feels like my ears are plugged in now briefly touching battery life these can achieve the same 5 hours of play time with ANC and transparency as the feel you get three more charges in the case so about standard these days but you have wireless charging capability curiously if you put the front side of the case down so it shows the din audio logo here furthermore it's got a pairing button on the side battery indicators all around so no complaints there it's just perfect there's one thing that's really unacceptable is if you've seen my last my quality test video I was just straight up disappointed I've used this on indoor video meetings a lot and it worked sure but when you take it outside in the street or you're working from a cafe these are no doubt bottom of the pack being disturbed by the street noise considerably and failing to pick up my voice clearly now the last blow to this earbud is the fact that you have to import it from China either you buy from AliExpress or go to China to get it which is what I did either way you can kiss goodbye to warranty coverage expect long shipping times and at this point I don't think it's worth the hassle especially considering all the problems I've said earlier unless you really want that amazing Dynamic sound quality because no doubt this is the best Sony earbuds in the this video alright this video is getting quite long but I hope it gave you helpful information to make the right purchase and we're going to talk about what in my opinion is the real Flagship killer in 2023 so hit thumbs up if you haven't and please welcome the new soundcore Liberty 4 and C what's the difference to last year's Liberty 4 you might ask or should you get the much discounted Liberty 3 Pro event well this time I could say for sure you should get the 4nc instead because soundcore scrapped all that heart rate monitoring head tracking spatial audio stuff and doubled down on the basics that matters so firstly the noise cancellation is simply second to none at this price range it's 100 bucks and it's got the Next Generation adaptive ANC of course not at the same level as the airpods Pro 2 that adjusts to the changes in your fit in real time but it takes a few seconds when you first wear it to sample how much noise always bleeds into your ear how much the noise is around you and adjust the counter noise accordingly the result is nothing short of amazing the mid-range to low rumbling noise just completely disappear which I tested on my recent flight and clearly the liberty for NC is Just A Step Above the Rest in this video it even cancels out rattling noise of the plane body when Landing which was so noisy that only the airpods Pro 2 managed to do better now keep in mind high frequency noise is still only blocked by the passive isolation of the air tip so don't expect too much noise drop in people talking background music it's definitely a point where the airpods Pro 2 will block more or even when you get to the voice quite Comforts they block even more as good as the foam tips of the Sony xm4 but the price difference is almost like two three times more which is why I dare say the Liberty 4 and C is a Flagship killer add to that very very good comfort with ANC your head feels light without any hissing or pressure like drowning in water and generally the shape of the earbuds is also comfortable to wear for hours it's just the ear tips has special connections so you cannot use regular third-party ear tips but nothing stopping you to try so again I might get a spin fit super fine myself just to try on these earbuds but generally I don't have any problems with the included ear tips anyway briefly touching transparency mode it's not as rosy as the ANC here unfortunately it still sounds a little bit like you're listening through a tunnel which amplifies some upper mid sounds like for example the road sound when you're inside a car it's louder than it is otherwise but it's still plenty usable just unfortunately taking one earbud out while on ANC still doesn't automatically make the other side switch to ANC so now moving on to the second most important Basics the price is a much more pocket friendly a hundred bucks retail or 99 to be exact and it's a sweet spot for many and for sure it will go on sale for Less down the line just as importantly the sound quality man they went with just one custom Dynamic driver that had me worried at first I thought they do this to cut costs but seriously they did some magic here especially with the slightly tweaked acoustic EQ setting that I've got I just love it it almost matches the dynamic character and amount of details you get on the Oppo and Co X2 but of course the separated drivers on the Oppo delivers much more impact on both bass and treble but the fact that it gets anywhere near is impressive comparing it quickly to a previous soundcore earbuds firstly we have the same 100 bucks space A40 and man the Liberty 4 NC is more capable of pushing flicker sub bass it drives more vocal presence great treble brightness and much more natural sound staging to one of my pain points with the space A40 and compared to the Liberty 4 which was actually similar in performance to my EQ Liberty 3 Pro the new Liberty 4 NC just sound more natural like everything mixes Better Together This truly is the best sound quality soundcore has put out today huge thumbs up for them okay some other important things that Liberty 4 and C can do is of course multi-point connection ldac full controls customization in the app and while it uses touch sensor instead of pinch gesture now every time you tap there will be a beep so you still know exactly when your TAP is detected and battery life with ANC transparency is at 8 hours plus four more charges in this case which is quite a lot more than the competition there I say class leading and the case has nice design as always it illuminates the earbuds when you first open it and now you open it with this button that doubles as a pair button too soundcore never fails to impress but this one is the ultimate real upgraded sound core we've all been waiting for and it's all about the basics great ANC sound app support by the way it's the only earbud with support for Google Fast pair in this video and man the 100 bucks price what else can you ask links down below go get them now alright the last year about today is going to be the customary update from earphone and this year it's called the Irfan Air Pro 3. and if you know them you really can't go wrong with this thing year over year they always improve on the things that matters and this time they're bringing a unique top of the line chip from Qualcomm the qcc 3071 above that is only the more premium S5 chips sadly though there's a lot of features that Irfan didn't take with a chip so no Snapdragon sound no app text lossless no adaptive ANC just a normal hybrid one but I think it really comes down to matching the 80 dollar price tag here which is the cheapest in this video so far so stripped as it can be will still have a great chip which comes with better efficiency which brings seven hours of play time with ANC and transparency on plus four more charges in the case that's similar to what you get on the sound core which is about the longest anyone could go at this point furthermore the Air Pro 3 still snacks the title of being one of the first earbuds to have le audio or lc3 codec support and just in case you're not aware the biggest Advantage for this new codec is the super low audio latency like the soundcore vrp 10 I tested a while back problem is virtually every phone today that has Bluetooth 5.3 does not support the codec yet at least that's how it is when I pair it to my Poco X5 Pro with Snapdragon 8 plus gen 1 it still shows aptx adaptive and it behaves like an aptx Adaptive so right now if we're talking about gaming the earphone will perform similarly to the field CC Pro 2 and Oppo Encore X2 there's no video here but I've tested them they're very good honestly I feel like they perform in the 200 milliseconds range and just forget the sound core because the game mode there barely makes a difference and the delay is noticeable it's just typical sound core about 300 milliseconds but that's normal but then once the lc3 codec comes into action hopefully has a softer update to all our current phones the earphone will for sure stand out from the pack cutting the latency in half so around 100 milliseconds range and at that point these will almost feel like magic as it is right now though they're plenty fine I found the aptex Adaptive to work as advertise which automatically lowers latency when it detects that you're playing a game the same goes for Oppo and Co X2 with its lhdc code deck which is a nice experience compared to the feel that you have to turn on from the app but on iPhones all of them you have to turn on from the app anyway or on the earphone you can customize the controls to activate gaming mode speaking of controls customization the earphone app is right up there with the best you can set everything on every touch gesture you can skip the normal mode on the ANC toggle the only thing you cannot do is to customize controls when only using one side without modifying the settings you've set when wearing both earbuds so far only soundcore can do this and I love it because when only using the left side for example instead of getting stuck with volume down in previous song I can make them skip to the next song and Trigger voice controls instead common sense right but yeah honestly Irfan did take their time developing the app but it is becoming one of the most robust app out there firstly you don't need to register for an account to use it the settings are straightforward the app is responsive especially when creating your own EQ and by the way please please please if you buy it immediately try this EQ because the sound out of the box it's just I don't want to talk about it so yeah I won't take too much time here since it's not a big departure from what we got from the previous models it's the same one Dynamic driver setup just slightly bigger compared to the air s but maybe because of that the bass comes out a bit uncontrolled that's why I recommend starting at least from any of the presets in the app or try out my custom EQ instead it's not perfect but you can go from there and as you can see from how many revisions I've got I would rate the earphone at the bottom place in terms of how easy it is to make a sound that I like for the price though I'm not complaining but you definitely will get better and more Dynamic more well-represented sound when you spend up a bit and get the others I've mentioned before before I forgot the ANC here is also slightly upgraded compared to the previous air s but it only brings it on par with the likes of feel and Oppo because like I said there's no adaptive ANC here maybe if I could nitpick the earphone has a tiny bit more hissing on the upper frequency when compared to the deal but you ignore it very easily especially when you start listening to any music at any volume and for the transparency mode I would put it better than both Oppo and sound core but still not as good as the feel because the sound is not as natural although pressure is relieved quite well here as for the other features as usual you get multi-point connection but this time you can make use of aptex adaptive on Android while at the same time you use AC for iPhones which is cool but there's no wear detection sensor here although it might be for the good because when I'm on transparency mode I put one earbud back into the case the other side I'm wearing will still be in transparency exactly like how I want it not turned off like the sound core and feel and compared to the all earphones you can now toggle between ANC and transparency with only one earbud huge thumbs up to earphone for listening now feel I'm looking at you finally the build quality and fit of the earbuds are nothing different from the previous airfron Air Pro Line it's still very comfortable to wear for hours still protects the drivers with metal mesh and that ear tips connectors are the common ones too so a spin fit cp360 will do the job to customize the fit in case the built-in ear tips are too slippery the case is also quite compact considering the battery it packs the lid is now spring loaded and it's got a button for pairing and reset in the center also it supports wireless charging something that the feel can't post about and we finally reached the end of the video but as usual my review won't be complete without a microphone test which is one of the most important aspects to consider these days so let's go outside now and we'll see which one sounds the best alright so here we are outside recording with the front microphone off my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I'm talking at a normal volume here nothing too loud and condition right now you can hear that there is a lot of cars motorcycles and all a little bit of wind inside here so let's wear now the fail CC Pro 2. start with that and we'll see how it performs all right so here we are with the steel CC Pro 2 and what do you think of the sound quality in the past actually feels the CC Nano one has impressed me a lot by how good it sounds in this environment so I'm having high expectations for this one I hope it sounds really really good and probably will destroy the next in mind let's go check out the next one all right so here we are with the also anco X2 and what can I say this is how it sounds like and we've gone through this before so I'm not really as surprising anymore but yeah what do you think I don't know maybe it's the 40 units that I have or maybe it's just like that if you haven't influences let me know what your experience now is on this alone let's move on to the next one all right so here we are now with the soundcore Liberty 4S theme and my expectations are again back very very high on this one because it's all limits before it's it's got one of the little best microphone qualities that I've tested so what do you think of this one let me know and let's move on to the next one all right so we are now with the earphone Air Pro 3 and what do you think of this style quality so this is compares to the sound core and feel I don't think it's past like AI notes cancel but yeah let me know what do you think and that's gonna be it for the video so again if you enjoyed this catch up review on the story I'll put like so many earbuds this must be half an hour long or whatever I'll see you later when I edit it but I hope this was informative I thought to be as concise as possible giving you all the most important differences and with that said there are two more videos to check out and stay tuned for more okay
