wow um the second turbo is kind of going out i was tired when it hit like 5000 rpm it doesn't really kick in you know like i feel like my car doesn't move after 5000 like the first servo is fine the first turbo kicks in right away and i can feel it but soon as the second turbo like kicked in everything just kind of dropped yo check this out though since i just flipped my tires the outside of the of the tire wall is like pretty fat because you know i don't know if you guys remember but i shaved the sidewall on the other side but i didn't shave this side yet so every single time when i air down it let me just show you guys here we go we'll check that in three two one oh there you go i was waiting for that drop man fitment is key boys yes the car just looks so good in white what's going on everybody and welcome back to the channel today we're going to be doing a comparison between form versus function sequential twin turbo versus big single turbo stands versus track we're going to talk about the pros and cons of both sides i'm currently waiting for kurush he should be here any moment now he's the one with the what is that he's the one with the red rx7 single turbo i met him once and i was like dude this setup is just it's so clean and it sounds so good so i asked them to come out today you know just to take a look at his car and compare with mine and yeah we'll do like a little r7 review today oh here he is bruh i wonder if his car is supported also because his sounds that's the goal right there y'all not even catherine oh right here bro right right here dude and he's on bags i forgot what's up and the front mount you don't see a lot of those because usually for r7 they run like female but front mount works too when you know if you make it work koozai what's up what's functional and then we got the form all stanced out at first we get like oh it's the rotary like it's gonna be different it's to be like a little bit scary or i don't know it wasn't intimidating right right because that's how i felt first you know so your your car's at 90. it's a 93. it's a 93. yeah mine's a 92 first edition you know right hand dry first edition and left-hand drive first edition usdm r1 r1 okay funny enough when i bought this car it was actually from one of dk's customers in l.a so i actually got this car in l.a nice and it's crazy story because you know i've looked for u-haul truck and trailer uh-huh they ended up canceling like last minute on me uh-huh so when i met the guy and then i was like okay i guess i have to drive this all the way from atlanta here which i did wait crazy enough no way yeah and it survived didn't overheat and and and dk and if you guys don't know who dk is he's our tuner he tuned my car and his car also and dk actually built his engine about 12 the motor is 12 years 12 12 years ago so whoever says that rotaries doesn't last that long they do if you build a right yeah right take care of it too yeah and you you got to take care of it all the maintenance and stuff you know if you know how to like work the car then it will last forever well i mean not forever but for a long time yeah right more than what people say it would yeah let's do like a little walk around here you guys already seen enough of my car so you know we're going to talk about quesari's car today oh the circle tail light yeah those are from japan right yep it came with the car that's nice i may be wrong on this but they're either the stock r1 tail lights and 99 spec ones okay so i think i think randy said that they they go for like about 800 or 15 yeah 15 right let's go ahead and check the interior it's pretty decked out in here look at this oh we got the air freshener lifestyle don't mind the radio okay work in progress is it working progress with the radio um he got all the gauges aem oil pressure power fc i'm running that also leather seat oh he got the bins in the bag i need that you guys i'm actually meeting him with a guy in southern california we're gonna meet up and i want to trade for my jdm seats for his oh that's usd and bins rear bins yeah and it's nice man i know the mints are nice it's nice to have some sort of storage because these cars are like small as it is exactly especially when i have to tank because you know what the bags wait where do you put your tank is it in the trunk i need to show you that oh yeah i my subaru before yeah oh you used to have subaru yeah yeah i used to have a like a 2014 wrx yeah it was a fun car okay yeah so i transferred the bags onto this car the box engine to rotaries huh yeah dude i have an fc as well so it's like oh no way yeah dude i'm actually going tomorrow and me and jed and dk are gonna uh work on it finish the wrap and everything is is it like a drift cartoon it is a drift damn bro you guys you guys you guys making me wanna like drift my fd too but i honestly don't wanna break it though like you know i'm saying i don't know how dk does it man yeah i i don't know like we'll send it just don't care about like yeah dk is just like a full deck dell his fd is just i'm surprised he's not competing he was he was he tried you know he was getting into formula d and everything uh-huh and um he almost got in but he got disqualified because his tail lights hit a wall oh so like it came out and he got disqualified from that wow that would have been like an aggressive drive for me yeah that would have been a style point yeah right because what happens but dude this is nice for my car my management i hit it in the stairs okay cuz you know because i want to keep that that the trunk um cover that's smart yeah i want to keep it like everything as much as oem as possible you know what i'm saying yeah so when i pop the trunk it'll be all the management under here we got the mag cover and then we got the tank right in the middle once you like clean everything up yeah it's gonna look it's gonna look super neat yeah like i said this is last minute um i just needed to get the car kind of on its feet dude that's crazy um yeah i'll finalize everything later on damn all right yeah man are you guys ready for the um the best part let's do it pop the hood dude this is so clean this is i was i was kind of thinking of getting a piece like this too that sits on top of the um the bumper and um the inner cooler it was pretty neat it's pretty dope i want to say lrb and bubble tech oh you think the two companies that make like that aluminum style oh the engine bay is gold yeah oh nice oh they did they cut this out or was it like that um no so i believe that's stock uh-huh um i had a fender liner underneath it wait wait a minute mine doesn't look wait hold up let me let me pop let me pop my hood so we can like do a little comparison okay oh you're right yeah it is the fan liner oh it's shiny but it's low there's nothing compared to yours like that's it for sure so a couple things need to be informed uh-huh so when dk was here you know he tuned in and everything oh he did actually was you know it was more responsive and stuff huh how how much is it pushing though what the single but dino we want to say like 350. but it's oh my goodness 350 boys i don't know 100 yet because it was never dyno really wants you one day wait did did you do like a street tuna lease yeah yeah yeah oh and he said 350. he felt like he was 350. uh-huh i was pushing 12 pounds 12 pounds yes this guy right here and i realized that that's not supposed to be plugged so what this is is a vacuum line to the stock fuel pressure regulator uh-huh and this was just hanging out oh but i didn't realize it so we had like a leak yeah i would say it was pretty much like a leak so so you're saying that you should be pushing more now i need a retune because i plugged it back in right so now it's like stupid rip you see you guys with rx7 every little thing when you take out your fix or you install something new you always want to get a retune oh yeah because if not these kind of rotor like these kind of like engines they don't hold up that good and if you run like a you know like a slightly wrong tune or whatever it's gonna hurt it yeah and it's gonna it's not gonna last that long let's talk about the turbos here so mine is the stock sequential turbos um if you guys don't know what sequential means pretty much um it's two turbos right one of them is going to kick in at the lower rpm and then the other one is going to kick in at the higher rpm which prevents lag which prevents lag yeah yeah and that's that's the beauty of you know what mazda did back in the days right and you know same thing with like two j's and stuff but yeah um they they do get tired and you do see a like a great amount of difference going single yeah you get more lag yeah but these were more geared for like kind of mid to top end anyways right and yeah when the triple kicks man it goes right yeah yeah so it's like two small turbos or one big turbo what size is that 67. so it's not a normal size but so this is godspeed turbo the kit mainly is godspeed there's only like the downpipe is cx racing i believe that's the only thing that's cx racing everything else is gospel which they don't make anymore uh the thing that you know a lot of people just kind of hate on godspeed is because it's like it's more of like the cheaper but i mean this is a 12 years of proof man this thing has been looking good it's pushing good power uh-huh so i can't i can't complain if you know how to take care of it it will last forever yeah right i agree so you did your this is like a custom piping or did it come with the kit i want to say that's actually that comes with the kit okay so so when you bought the turbo the turbo kit it comes with um the manifold of course yeah right and then the downpipe or no the downpipe also for the single i believe that's everything i'm sure you can you know cx racing has more that they can offer but uh oh so one thing with the rotors i did not know this but dk told me that their medium sized street ports oh so that's why it's kind of brappy at times and kind of not oh well i mean it's pretty broad to me when you pulled up so you're saying that this is half party or it's wait is that possible when it's half border i thought when you put it all the way you can do half bridge oh you can do half bridge yeah you can do half bridge oh no wait um semi peripheral port full peripheral port there's a lot of different kinds of porting it is kind of confusing yeah i haven't got to that point yet but you know i i want to learn and i want to you know get an idea of where to kind of like a direction to head to if i want to go single turbo all of these gonna have to go the intakes the piping can i keep the inner cooler do you think so or no i think you can i just gotta get i just gotta get custom piping right exactly you gotta change the pipe okay and then new manifold downpipe also do all that work i just put in i know and who would have thought the turbo was going out right i didn't know you know i'm saying like this car is like about 50 000 miles it should last a little bit longer but i know that's what i'm saying really that's what i'm saying but hey it is what it is if it blows it blows and if i do have to get do you know everything then then it is what it is all right i think now is the moment of truth um start her up yeah let's do it give it a little rip give everybody a little tease my dude that sounds so good it's it definitely puts the smile on it dude i can see it i can see it damn it makes my car sound so bad it's not bad but weak you know saying like i love you too right um not yet okay my new muscle is coming in soon yeah but it doesn't whistle like this though oh really yeah cause you know like when it hit like about three thousand rpm you know like the whistle down yeah that's so sick dude thanks man let's get a closer look from the turbo oh my gosh like the whole thing just went back no way really yeah your thing was like moving and it just went back dude are you guys now that we talked about the car we hurt the car it's time to get a feel of the car we're gonna go for a drive right now and dude this reminds me of the um the first fast and furious when dom toretto pulled up in the red rx-7 single turbo how's the door handle on this thing like there's a door closed do you have any problems or no the driver's side i have to like kind of push a little harder and close a little harder that side is fine oh really yeah okay so there's like multiple sequences i have to do so turn this on cut well yeah kind of like this is a fuel pump switch oh no right this on wait can i show that yeah yeah that's the uh fuel foam switch yeah so i have to turn this on okay and then turn the key on here uh-huh and i don't start it by like turning it more right right there's like a push button thing underneath here for safety and it's like it's literally a push button so you hold it and it's like oh dude yeah i'm ready to take flight dude this is a straight up race car a lot of gauges yeah you also got the little the reader here yeah okay you also have the um overheat yeah i don't system yeah what is that so what does that do i i think that's literally just telling you that your exhaust is hot i mean wrong but so like what does it like does it light up or yeah oh it lights up if i put it on battery but not like start the car it'll turn on no way yeah so i have a i have i have something like that but on the dash and it heats up it it tells me the temp of the cat i think that might be the same thing is it like it might be yeah it sounds so good oh my god dude it's pretty loud i'd say i like it yeah i like it so my car is super quiet it's a vibrant titanium vibrant muffler and then there's a vibrant resonator as well everything else is straight um foreign though what are these um gauges right here so the middle is water temperature and the right is voltage um they're i mean they're a little old but they work and then the left is the largest yeah so this is the older series afr it doesn't go below 10 like it doesn't read below 10. oh it doesn't read below 10. yeah so when it's below 10 which is just like yeah but you shouldn't be running below 10 yeah exactly so yeah okay so and then oil temperature and then oil pressure and then this this boost right there uh yeah this is boost now it's my turn to show my fd it's not the best oh i'm ready dude but i'm not going to record this part but if you guys do want to check it out make sure to head over to
