good morning everyone welcome to my channel so in today's video it's an extension of a current series that I've completed now if you've been watching me for a little while I've been doing some little 10 centimeter by 10 centimeter squares of Stitchery to be swapped with someone else so there's one coming to me and this one's going to that person now it's all part of a swap that Annie Claxton put together she's a UK YouTuber her channel is Artie farty Annie and she come up with this great idea to create a little group and do a swap between you so there's been hundreds and hundreds of these little squares created So within the YouTube Community within YouTube to subscribers and then within your own communities yourself your Stitchery groups so it's been absolutely lovely to see everyone pick up needle and thread so it's time for me to send them all off but instead of just popping them in a card I thought I'd take it one step further because I can't help myself and make a little pouch now a little while ago I made this little pouch for my mum and I put a piece of jewelry in there for mother's day so I thought along the lines of this little piece I would do maybe a smaller version that the little square could go into so with that in mind now those pouches there's heaps of YouTubers around that have made similar things and I'm sort of just going to do I guess a similar thing just lay out the fabric encrust it do you like that word encrust it with doilies and then sort of theme a little bit to the piece that's inside so I've got it in stages here which is just so not me I usually just wing it and away we go but I want to get these two in the mail today so I went ahead and finished these two and then I sort of started a little bit of this one and this one was the later rival and doesn't have a pouch at all prepped so what I thought I'll do is we'll work backwards first of all let's have a look at the actual pouch and how it is going to work so I have created a rectangle of Calico or muslin first just as the base worked out my measurements to my little piece I'll give you those when we get right to this one here which is at the very beginning I've put a binding or like a bias binding scenario where I've torn a strip of fabric like that folded it in half I just finger pressed it like so and then use that to cover the raw edges so let's just show you these two so that's the binding side of things and then the the fabric on the inside I matched to the little Stitchery so I sort of picked up one of those colors and then matched it and then once I had it all sort of in position with the doilies I also put a little highlight fabric on there and a little embellishment right at the very end but the Highlight fabric happened when these doilies went down so let's put that one aside this is the other one once again a blue but this little Stitchery had more dark tones of blue in it upside down yeah that's how it's meant to be so those two are finished and ready to go off to their their new owners now I haven't put a Fastener on it there seem to be enough weight in that flap that it's just sitting so I thought I'll just just leave it at that and whoever receives these may use them as they are or may repurpose them into another project so maybe a flap catch is needed or not needed it might be a case of this is stitched down somewhere and it becomes just a pocket to tuck something in it might be a little pocket that is used within their sewing kit so maybe a little little latch scenario is used now on this one I actually put a piece of sand binding inside the lid or the flap the opening and just stitched a little bow over it and then I got two buttons and stacked them on top of each other to sort of create just a little bit of a feature and that just winds around so really simple really really simple to do you could do all sorts of things you could go around the actual piece itself with a ribbon as well so if you didn't want to attach anything so those two now that I've shown you those they can go off to the letterbox I really really need to get them to the mail today so this is why this video has come around to you guys in bits because I just had to get those two done so this little guy as I said we're working backwards this little fellow he's got his seam binding on the top Edge and I've also done this Edge here so now I've pinned it as if we're ready to do the side but also then making sure that the little piece inside fits so we can pull that little fellow out now and the next stage knowing that this is perfectly positioned like those pins are holding the bottom up I then grab a bigger piece of this this is the muslin I've got some little ones which are for the top edges and the bottom Edge and then these for the longer sides so I would then fold that over my finger press you could iron it if you wanted but you don't need to these are very rustic there's lots of little threads if you hate threads so I'm just going to move this pin in a little bit if you hate threads they drive you bananas this is not the project for you so I'm just going to position that lining that top edge up this will just get trimmed here and folded over it is as easy as that I put a pin first of all right here because this is sort of the the joint so we want that nice and strong and then I just work back to the either end making sure that everything's positioned one at the very end now you can do two rows of running Stitch like I have you could do one you could do three you could do whatever you wanted you could even do fly Stitch down there if you wanted to get really fancy these are just great little pouches even if it's like I did for my mum a piece of jewelry for a young girl I would love this if I was a young young girl receiving a a little necklace or something a little pouch would be so good to put Treasures in so I'm just going to turn that around I just cut that with a little spare just in case it Jiggles around a little bit strip because I'm Mass making these and just sort of I worked through every stage as I went I had some of these strips all ready to roll I've only got one left now so I have to actually create some more that crease the only real tricky thing is the actual stitching of The Binding iron you've got to make sure when you run your needle through to the other side that you're actually catching firstly The Binding and you want it to be sitting where where you need it to be sitting the actual Stitch I'll show you what I mean in a moment let's get ourselves positioned here so this one is basically complete other than just doing these two sides it's another one done it really is quite simple and if you break it down into the steps you know if you did all of the the end pieces and then do all of the side pieces it really does not take long so that one there is ready to go take that pin out that was holding it sort of together I'll slide that in just to double check that it fits it will now I also when I folded up bottom pocket I left just a little bit and I've already said that just to allow your little fingers to grab it so that's ready to stitch and I've got my sample in there just to make sure that all my the boundaries are right for the piece now here's the next one starting further back in the process I know it must seem weird that I'm going backwards in this this tutorial but I don't know that's just the way I work so this little guy there's my piece that I'm using for my lining and that's the decorated element on the front now I have left this out just to show you that if you've got some larger doilies and it goes over that's not not an issue so what I'm going to do with that is I'm going to trim it off hang on need some good I need my dressmaking scissors so now now if this doily was hanging over just a little bit I probably wouldn't trim it off let's say it was hanging over like about that much I wouldn't trim it off I would allow that to rest on that seam binding just as a little decorative element little pieces like that really handy so you could do something tricky and Stitch that onto there as well and have that as a little piece coming off of it I might do that let's let's do that something different okay so now I've cut my piece that's going to be the lining and I'm just going to put three pins in just to hold it haven't tacked it together I sort of don't feel like I need to I feel like there's enough binding and the distance between the sides is not too long and sort of felt like I didn't need to waste time doing that so now I'm just doing the little pocket position once again I just want a little bit of it peeking out to make it easy for the recipient to grab it now this one hasn't had any embellishment here so in the previous ones I just picked two colors and did a little bit of stitching on them to give a little pop of color so that's yet to happen so I would probably do that first before I got too carried away with putting on the side seams but if I want to I could actually do the side seam down here because up the top here's where the pretty pieces would go so might as well it's just another step done once I finish the video I'll come back and sort of catch myself up with all of this and get them finished so I'm just sliding that into there and pinning it so yeah if if I had finished the decorative little pop of color we'll call it the pop of colored on the front it's sort of to let them know that there's something coming inside that matches it it sort of was my theory with choosing the colors that is that edge and then that comes down pop a color on and then away we go so that one has sort of moseyed along a little bit now this one here is the fabric I've picked for this piece so once again I'll just pop a few pins in you can see how the doily is um peeking through here that I wouldn't trim I would leave him I won't put a pin there because this one needs a little pop of color let's spin it around actually let's make that the top we've got more room for some color so let's just jiggle it I'm sort of getting ahead of myself in many areas here but it's all good I'm going to put another one of those little strips over here with that one I just did so that when I come back to it later the little strip sitting in there ready to go I've got two left so that'll do this one so let's let's get this little strip on so they are pretty easy it's just making sure you do them in the steps you need to to achieve the end result isn't that just a classic sentence for our industry figuring out the steps you need to achieve to get to the end result that sums up crafting so a couple little pins that'll hold it the base is held to the internal lining and I'll leave that open so we can do a pop of color now I have a spare a little bit of fabric here so I thought I'd cut a little piece of that and that would be the start of a bit of a decorative so I'd probably then go looking for some pink because that one had those soft pink colors I don't know I might even put some music on the front cut a little piece of music out and then maybe I get some pink flowers as my little feature I'll have to go hunting for some pink flowers I don't know if I've got anything Dusty pink here and it's pretty yeah I wonder if I move that I like that and then once that's stitched on with some invisible stitches that would be inside just a little a little bit peeking through and down comes the lid there we go and then the other little that can go on but I'd be stitching these little embellishment on first before I go and seal up all of those pieces so that would be the step for him so I can leave that by itself um now I've got a little purple one there's the lining for that one now I need some more I need some more pieces and that would probably do a side so let me just rip down as simple as that get rid of all your little straggly bits now once again this one can have its bottom piece added might as well prep them I am getting back to the beginning of the process trust me I'll just so simple okay for Pins we want to make sure that that lining isn't going to jiggle around so let's just get our pins in position there's a little bit of work in it but once you sort of get yourself going it does come together pretty quickly I got a bit of an afternoon of stitching when you're done now I've just used a cream thread to do my top Stitch for The Binding but you could find for example a purple could do whatever you want you could break this binding down into smaller pieces of different colored fabrics and whiz around the outside of them there we go so now this needs its decorative piece needs some binding so we'll put this little guy in there as well and we need a side and that piece should be big enough for a side need another one just a little and rip it down there's a Selvage down here so it's causing me grief as I rip down and away so let's get rid of that oh if you don't like little threads like this this is definitely not the project for you the one for there that will do the side that will do the side I think I need some sides for those other ones but that's okay we'll just there's a little one for that guy so let's just recap here and get us some sides for this and then the project is sort of ready for me just to grab it and Stitch so I will rip down another I just use that one as a bit of a guide so if that folds in half it should do both just excellent probably not even on camera just folding it in half just double check so there's two long sides that one's for there ready to stitch so let's go back to this guy hopefully we've got just enough to do what I need to do I will measure we'll do the next one because I'll need long sides for that third one should give me another one of those little fellows I love it when a plan goes together never goes together does it I'll just fold that in half so there's the spare and there's the two so that's ready to go snip there it is threads threads threads we're slowly getting back to the beginning of the project I think it'll make more sense when you sort of see I don't know I tend to like to see the end where am I heading with it and then I guess if you wanna do a variation you can because you've seen what it's going to look like the processes to get there and at some point you're probably sitting here now going yeah I'm going to do a multi-colored binding or I'm going to do an actual seam binding they exist out there I might even fold that or not I've been doing it sitting on the couch with it on my lap and it's been a little bit of a challenge you don't have that hard surface to do your creases but it did work so that's that 'll go with that this little guy we'll go with that and this will follow snip him down too okay so all of them should have The Binding ready to go so those there now I did mention before we get into that that I wanted to have a play with potentially stitching this onto there I think that's a great idea yep so once that binding goes on what I'd do then is come back and just invisible stitch that on it's just too perfect of a fit not to well not that way that way because we want it yeah that way and then I'll just put a pin in there to hold it you could even Stitch it if you're worried that your stitches to attach this we're going to come through to the front because it will be a bit of a uh a challenge to sneak your needle through what you could do make it a bit easier on yourself is attach it to The Binding before you start now what I mean so you know that that's got to fold over and go underneath where you could lay that onto there and just stay within the parameters of the one side I think I will do it that way you know because then I can make sure it's nice and secure I don't have this to be worried about and if I put a pin on that fold I know then that my stitching must not go past the fold which will be fine so with with invisible stitches where you probably don't even need to make them that invisible the main thing is it's nice and secure and there we go so I Stitch it down but leaving it lift so when it goes you can see the the fold there so when it gets attached to the little pocket or the pouch that can still fold over that's how I would do that and then that little element oh gee I'm getting fancy and that little element can slip into there carry on with the attachment and it's ready to go except the other way around it'd be like that and then you'd have this little decorative piece popping out the bottom so that's a bit of fun for that one you see how there's so many variations of these things one Christmas I made them for gift cards and everyone who got a gift card got except it was a little bit taller it was narrow and taller and they could pull pull their little gift card out all the girls so that one's ready to roll all right I've got a spare well it's okay doesn't matter there's my sleeves now this piece so I followed a similar recipe so that is going to be the internal lining for that so I'm just going to pull the green fabric off and we're going to work on this so because I did them all in one go I did a similar similar sort of pattern if you will put the Mark here so I'm just going to position it and I think I did three either end of doilies so I'm just grabbing three and then one end I left a little space for that decorative fabric to sort of tie it all together and that was it once I had it pinned on I then invisible stitched all the doilies into position it took a little while I start in the middle of the doily secure that and pick a line on the crocheting so I would use that little section there then I'd probably come out about a centimeter and Stitch down this guy you don't want it to be puckery and lifting you don't want it to catch on something especially if they decide to use it in their purse to hold something you don't want it catching as it goes you know in and out the purse this one too will have peace left so we might take that off put this one on the flap as well as well use it the other doilies for a fraction smaller so I didn't end up getting this little morsel so let's spin it around and now we look for some other decorative doilies and pin them down it's as simple as that just place them down once you sort of work out a bit of a recipe you don't need to then think too hard and when you're making quite a few you can just you know pull them together yeah okay these trays are those stackable trays that are about you know so tall there's two in the stand and I've just as I come across doilies in the reject shops or the um the the op shops the thrift stores I cut them down by motif and just stack them in there got little bits poked into the corners just to try and keep a little bit of Law and Order and I just find it works really well because then I can just bring the tray to my desk all right there we go and we've got room at either spot wherever I choose to pop in I lift this guy a fraction and then I've got a little bit more room for some fabric down this end I like that so that's just about it that's all you'd really need to know once that's all stitched down with invisible stitch I would then be ready to start the process that we've just gone through I've cut myself a decorative piece of fabric that would go in there and then probably this side so I feel like I need another one there to be lavish let's pin him there I'm working upside down at the moment and then there's our little lid I've got room for some pop of color and there's my little bindings uh now let's pin that to that so the two that have that funny little bit added are ready to go so once again we've creased it so we know our boundary all right let's think about this it's gonna go that way hasn't it you're probably yelling at the screen turn it around turn it around and if I pin on the crease that tells me that I don't go any higher than where I need to go so that's great so by the time this video goes to air everyone will have their pieces they'll definitely be in the new owner's hands and the project is complete was really fun would love to have done more like oh I just don't have the time there's just so much work goes into these little stitcheries hats off to the ladies that I think Annie I think she did 45 of them wow so that's now ready as a little piece to go on there the end of that so there you go now the next thing I wanted to show you well I guess the only step that I haven't shown you and I might do it on this one is the running Stitch needed so I do two lengths plus a little bit because I don't want to be stopping and starting with my needle and thread I'm just using crochet cotton number eight that's my go-to favorite case of take your time and do your little running stitches so I've got myself a little knot which I'll make disappear let's get the decorative piece out of there in case it gets a little bit rough so I always do the line closest to the cut Edge first then when I get to the end I'll turn around and I'll come back to the fold side that way I know my piece is nice and secure because it is a little fiddly if you're a beginner take your time get your Fabrics positioned if it means taking the pin out and using your fingers I'd highly recommend it now I'm just going to bury my knot in between the layers and then let's do a little bit of a back stitch there coming through to the other side checking that I've grabbed my fabric only just but it will be enough then I'll come forward to start my first Stitch so on the back I get that one stitch that's because where I came up let me zoom in so I've gone underneath that layer and popped up oh let's show you what I'm doing hey so I've gone underneath this layer here to hide my knot and I've come up then I've gone back towards the edge and gone back down and that then allows me to come forward giving me a good Stitch this side and then that puts me in the right position to carry on and then it's just a case of stitching away each time making sure you're catching the back now see it's amazing how angles can affect things this side it looks fine but the angle of the needle brought it out actually missing the actual binding foreign have to check your stitches the other thing too is if you stack the needle by going through like that you might find too that you will also miss the fabric you will create a small stitch on the other side and not a stitch similar to this side so you really do need to take your time and even if it means that you do one stitch at a time because it's a stitch that's seen both sides see look I'll show you as if I was just to do that sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but it all comes down to the angle of the needle and push that through looks great that side does it look good this side no it doesn't see the tiny little stitches it's because there's bulk in there you've got those crochet elements sitting in that seam so sometimes you just have to slow it down and place each Stitch exactly where you want it and if you're happy with it both sides away you go it is a little slower see that to me is a little bit off and it's just purely the angle of which I push that needle through that's all it is so I can get rid of that PIN and now we're coming up for the next Stitch sometimes even running your needle through like that like this and you know that the top looks good and then you look over and going oh it's not so good pull your needle out but what you've done is you've just given yourself some pinholes so you can then just follow through and with a straight needle down you've got yourself the Perfect Stitch they don't have to be perfectly straight don't stress just stitch them down and once you get a couple rows they just seem to work if you were really worried about it you could draw some lines for yourself and then use them as your guide I haven't in this scenario I have in the past if I want it to be quite precise it might fit the design that more precise stitching but these are rustic so I want them to feel quite loose and relaxed at the end of the day they're going to be dropping threads the place it's not exactly like if this Edge was folded under like the classic seam binding that's folded under this Edge is folded under and then the fold is made well then you might feel like you need a a neater Stitch so that's pretty much it guys they're as simple as that it's just getting your steps done cut your fabric to size now the size of the fabric I should have given you that let me just stop for a moment now these are all let's Zoom back out these little pretty pieces are all 10 centimeters by 10 centimeters but the actual piece of fabric that I tore was 12 by 12. so that being said my guess is these are probably 16 centimeters wide which is six and a quarter so that's the width that allows for that seam binding and your little square to slide in that pocket so yeah nice and snug with a little bit of space now the length of the piece 22 plus a bit is 34 which is 13 and a half inches and like I said you can make your length to whatever you want in design you don't have to do that it just depends on how you want your little pocket um see that Stitch is not coming through it's it's all angles I really admire those camphor quilts that they make the stitches are the same both sides and I know they lay it flat and they stack the needle like it's just credible there's a technique must be the way you hold your tongue but on a little piece like this it doesn't matter I can fiddle around with it maybe I'm being too finicky I don't know I'm probably overthinking it okay getting a bit of speed up now watch the girl go so that's probably it I think I don't think there's much else I need to tell you on the construction side of things um yeah get rid of that PIN before it's in my finger so you don't have to do this if you're watching this and you've made a heap of squares this is not part of the project this is just a little extra that I'm doing for my ladies but just because just because I sort of got to the last one and finished it that other one and it's like oh it's over what else could I do so that's how this came to be like she doesn't have enough on her plate to stitch see that's see there's a classic case my angle's gone in of the needle is pointing back towards me Stitch looks great this side but it's completely off the other side look at that what did Grandma say less hasten I don't know more Pace or what was that saying and still convinced that the hair and the Tortoise finish the race together on the hair and the husband's the tortoise and I'm still not convinced that we get to the end at the same time I swear I I get there and I turn around and he's just coming up behind me see that story is not correct ah sidetracked are those stories that are supposed to mean something but they just leave you more perplexed that was one okay okay I'm now down the end So the plan is just to get that last stitch in where I need it and then scoot under the fabric coming up on the opposite side of the binding and I've checked my thread I've got plenty to get back case of if we go again see that's a good Stitch see when I get rid of the bulk so there's no doily underneath that my stitches are fine it's the bulk it's changing the angle of the needle so that it doesn't come up where you think it's going to come up it's sort of slightly out because all those stitches are perfect isn't that odd I'm so analyzing it too much aren't I that's probably why the camper quilts actually work because they don't have doilies layered in between everything yeah see that stitches are fine they're a little bit crooked but that's okay that's the way it is I'm going to get game now let's see if I can get done there you go perfect it's the bulk of the doilies that are affecting the angle of the needle coming through exactly where you would want it on the other side that's what it is and on this Edge there's hardly any doily there you go as we Cruise along that edge let's just not get ahead of ourselves yep that's good foreign it's raining here today I haven't had rain for a little while so Brisbane ladies if you're watching this video and you've just looked outside and going that girl what's she talking about I'm filming ahead so don't panic if you're thinking you're getting a day in the garden there's rain coming you probably will get the day in the garden so now I'm just going to tuck that needle through those layers bury a stitch down in there of which the knot can follow down deep into those folds and it'll never be seen here we go so that is how you Stitch your binding on using a little running Stitch just take your time and work your way along your piece so all I'd have to do now is go back down this side and this little one is finished so the length plus a bit you can't do it exact because you weaving the thread through you'll be surprised at how much extra length is used so if you were to do that exact and go yeah that's enough but they're up and then down and you probably need another three inches spare just to finish the task so you can't cut your thread to the exact size so that is pretty much it I guess what else have I got to tell you about the project not a lot I think we're there so yeah if you wanted to go and start your day feel free to leave the class early and head off and have a lovely day I've got 10 minutes to go so I'm going to sit here and finish this side can I do it in 10 minutes and then I know it's done I will talk to you I'm just concentrating for a second I want to make sure that I catch this binding positioned yep and we're off and racing like I said if you wanted to put a closure on these pieces go for it I just felt there was enough weight in this flap here with that crochet doily that it didn't feel like it wanted to you know flop open there we go we're off and racing I can get rid of that PIN I can also trim that down a little looks like I can get another one in the mail today yep so just take your time like slow stitches it is what it is isn't it slow for a reason it's needle and thread I can hear the rain I don't know if you guys can hear the rain what a great day for stitching unfortunately I can't get a day of stitching today to go to work we've got some creative things to do at work today we've had some customers come in that own [Music] um well pretty much Boutique shopping centers they're not the big ones they're like in the center of town and there you know where you'd go if you wanted something really unusual as a gift those types of shopping centers they're in the arcades I guess there's a better name than Shopping Center and this there's a couple at the moment that have decided to redo all their Christmas and the one in particular it is going to be spectacular it is just going to be beautiful so they're investing in new trees to scatter up the arcade and also hang through the ceiling heaps of garlands and teardrop shaped pieces to go on columns it's and the arcade itself is beautiful it's just it's one of our old ones so they've been working with us for months nutting it all out and what's going to go where so there's been a lot of chewing and throwing and now it looks like we've finally got our recipes all sorted you know as in see that Stitch is too small so slow down girl see I'm back in amongst the doilies those Bloom and oilies so the the arcade if you want for a better word smallish Boutique Shopping Center has decided what they all want and we're at the stage where um my store manager and I need to start construction so we've worked out all of the elements and you know created the the piles for each piece you know just like a project that we would do you just pull it all together into the different piles this is for this this is for that so now we've got to break it down into tasks and start allocating some stuff to help us because there's only me and the store manager and we have a lot of baubles to wire first and then there's lights to be wound through things those baubles have then got to be attached there's bows to make ribbons there's large poinsettias to be woven through all the pieces there's going to be beautiful we just love it when a client really goes to town because we make then something a bit more special otherwise it's just Baubles and a piece of Garland the Baubles and you know that's lovely but we do like it when they they pretty much let us have full rain and we get to make some bows and trimmings and yeah it's really good I think it's just going to be beautiful absolutely beautiful so we're constructing it we don't do installation of the Christmas we've got enough to do without worrying about forklifts and Cherry Pickers to get into shopping centers and oh I just couldn't imagine worrying about it knowing my like a cherry picker or a platform lift you know those things they stand on to lift you up one of those will roll through one of these beautiful arcades and crack a heap of 100 year old tiles yeah that's not us we are not interested so we make it they install it and there's plenty of businesses around that can do that type of work so it's never seems to be a problem or we put together the recipe that they need to make the pieces themselves and they'll have some staff come in and create all the different elements so it's a lot of fun a lot of work every year or so there's some really big jobs come through and we have to work our little butts off to pull it all together but we do I remember one year a retailer came in and they had a hundred and Thirty odd stores and they wanted one Garland to go in the bottom of each window so you'd think all that can't be too bad but our garlands are nine foot most of their windows were 12 foot to 14 foot huge big panes of glass with beautiful displays in them and this garland would sit just at the bottom of the class so it was easy for the store to install the staff they could just pull it out of its box and lay it in and there was a PowerPoint there and the lights would start so it was beautiful but two windows at every shop 130 shops you're doing the maths aren't you most of them were 12 foot to 13 foot none of them were ever nine foot that would just be too easy wouldn't it so we had to cut garlands so that you get this bit you know that would then attach to the nine foot piece so that was the first job so you now had we're calling them anacondas boa constrictors so we'd have an anaconda that's now 13 foot which has got two pieces attached together there'd be a scattering about baubles so at least it wasn't you know crazy and bows and flowers and they're just gold red and silver baubles but the Garland they chose oh that is so crooked chatting away here and that has just got really crooked the girl and they chose was impregnated with glitter and it was like it's got a really big bristle like a big bristle it's not like a standard Christmas tree bristle which is probably the thickness of your thumb at the point and then comes down a little bit it was big right through so wiring baubles on was just a task anyway it was covered in glitter each of the fronds has a a plastic sleeve over it that the factory puts on and that keeps the bristle tight so you pull the plastic sleeve off pull out it pops it's a look think of a Danny brush that's what the bristle looks like so we'd have to stretch it out straighten the main wire attach this little portion to make it to the right length create two because there was always two windows some shops only had one window but majority of them had two um pull the plastic sleeves off so suddenly there's glitter going everywhere and then proceed to wire the baubles then we had to Wrangle this Anaconda into a box name address it ready to go off somewhere in Australia for all these stores so it was a simple Garland but it wasn't simple and at that stage we didn't have a warehouse space so we did it in my garage here at home and oh my goodness I had staff with me thank goodness because it was so much work it took us over a week to make them all but we had a bit of a a system by the end of it as you do you break it down into smaller tasks but I had glitter and of course the staff would say oh can I borrow your toilet yeah no worries so they'd walk through the house absolutely coated in this glitter dropping it as they went so I I swear I can still see glitter in my home from that experience and that was probably about five years ago now but I do love seeing the garlands because when I go to my local shopping centers are those centers that have one of their stores the Garland is still in there looking beautiful and it's held up beautifully so it's so worth it but boy it's a lot of work and I think this year is going to be that year where we have some really big jobs come in all right guys I have gone over the hour just but I have finished another little pocket so she's a a little cutie just a hint of color but very neutral and bury my needle and thread in there and catch it with a knot there we go that's it as simple as that all right guys let's pop is it in the right way take your time get him in he fits a little bit poking out last chance to get rid of all those pesky little threads there we go done another one done all right so we've got three ready to go all right guys I will leave it at that you guys have a lovely day and I will see you all in the next video bye for now foreign
