TUNED My 6.2L C63 AMG - Can It Beat A W205 C63S COUPE NOW?

foreign [Music] what up everyone it's your boy natish back with another video or this is a continuation of the video I was already recording where my boys c63s getting tuned and uh today we're actually getting my AMG tune and I wasn't gonna do this for a while until I got headers but once I went over to ECC and I talked to them and we were tuning Daniel's car I just figured you know what uh why not get this same g-tuned so we're headed there back again today now the burbles on Daniel's car if you haven't already seen them let me replay them a little bit here [Music] foreign [Applause] those burbles are a little crazy I mean a lot of you guys might enjoy them but for him it's a little much so we're gonna downsize it a little bit no I'm really curious how it's gonna change my tune because this is their Version 9 of their software so they've been refining the tune for the w204 C63 uh platform for quite some time and I'm really interested to see how it's gonna change the way the car feels there's guys who've been on the version six of their tune and went up to the version nine and they've noticed drastic changes so imagine just from like the version 6 to version nine it's such a big difference so imagine like I don't even know if this is tuned at this point but if it is it's definitely on like a very early version and now we're going to be going to version nine they've even had advancements in the uh way in which they tune the cam specifically which is the biggest change is what is gonna change the way the card feel how it feels how it drives the transmission now I'm not getting a transmission tune however I'm being told that the transmission responds and overall shifts are gonna change drastically for the better better so this car although it's just very quick it does give a little bit of a jerk to the shifts which honestly I personally like because it gives it more of an aggressive feel but I'm told that they're going to be smoother faster shifts so let's let's get a really good idea of what it's gonna be like I'll do some clips of the way this car performs I'm sure many of you have already seen it but let's uh give you guys some clips right now how this car drives right now and then we're gonna compare it to the after the tune check it out all right yo give me some Bop foreign so the transmission in this car has a couple different settings you have comfort Sports Sport Plus manual and also a race start for launch control in Sport Plus you can engage the manual transmission by downshifting on the paddle however at that point it will still Auto upshift at Redline for example right now if I put it in third you can see it's hanging revs all day is that now if I floor it depending on how far you kick it up the red line it will auto offshift so if I go down to Second for example and then we try to hit Redline you can see that it auto upshifts it to redline now if I put it into M so now we go to Second and we try to do that I had to up shift it and otherwise it just bounces off the limiter now when you're sliding that changes everything guys if you're sliding this car and you're in the M mode that's where you want to be because you have full control of the gears because what happens is you could be mid-slide in s plus it'll reach limiter and it'll up shift right away and that can totally throw your slide off if you can still drift in S Plus but you got to make sure you're aware that your transmission is an S Plus because if it shifts mid-slide it could cause you to have a bigger course of angle foreign or if you're half letting off it will even snap the car back luckily it doesn't really snap the car back completely the other way it'll snap it back to straight most of the time that's why these cars are incredibly predictable and easy to slide foreign guys so we're gonna get this thing on the dyno and get a baseline of it and see how it does on the dyno and then he's gonna tune it and we're gonna see how it does post Tunes let's see how that goes what do you guys think it's gonna make put your guesses in the comments below right now this is basically what we believe is stock I guess I'll he'll let me know if it's actually had a base tune on it but I'm really curious what it's gonna make right now on a Baseline all right so Vlad from ECC here just re-flashed uh Daniel's c63s all he did was change the uh the verbal so because he just wants a little bit more subtle verbal the what we had before was uh basically for b-58 guys so just change it up to something a little bit more subtle but it's still like a little bit of a crackle foreign [Applause] just a little one-two pop on the end of the shift or the end of the uh let off much smoother I think he's gonna enjoy that a lot more I Love How Deep The h-pipe makes this thing sound [Applause] horsepower 414 and 377. possible foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign foreign [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Music] all right guys so car just came off the dyno and we're ready to test it out so a couple things one thing to note so after Vlad took the car off the dyno he did notice that the car should have made a little bit more power than it did it should have been around the 450 and change Mark but it only made about 431 wheel we did gain power the uh the Run original run pre uh pre-tuned was about 4 14 wheel horsepower and 377 wheel torque we're now at 431 wheel and 397 wheel torque so it did gain roughly about 20 wheel torque and about 15 wheel horsepower off of the tune but he's saying it's supposed to be much more he's saying the car likely needs a service now I haven't had to do anything to this car since I picked it up I haven't even done any other than oil changes of course foreign a couple things we should do some like spark plugs on it we should do some air filters as well as uh maybe even a tiny flush and diff fluid change I just picked up a set of BMC air filters from ECC here so I'm gonna go ahead and install those when I get home tonight and we're gonna see how the car feels but regardless the car should feel significantly better right now so let's hit the road and see how it feels right now so uh Daniel over here just got this new deck installed in this C63 NG what's the brand name of it or is it just some I don't know I don't know Android 11. so it's got Apple carplay Android auto and it still handles a full factory service system of the Mercedes so for example when you hit back here it'll default back to the factory Mercedes-Benz system so you can still utilize all the reverse cam go to the backup camera and show how it looks um and so you can see the 360 camera and everything still works and that's inside of the screen and full cameras around more of a new look to it compared to the uh like the 2021 C63 it comes with the screen similar to this uh his is a 2019 so it doesn't have the digital cluster or the bigger screen it looks pretty OEM actually from what I can tell 17 you're gonna get beat by Engineers this is a 17 what did I say on disrespect 19 minutes laughs yo that is [Music] that is a C63 just like my guy cool that's a C63 p-31 guys with headers on it should I do headers that car is in the back of the shop and you hear it like that I'm gonna find out what it did I had her car with the v9 software that is a thousand wheel horsepower f80 M3 and over here we have this beautiful C63 take a look at this right interior oh man I miss my red seats guys look at that he's also got a built transmission and um Weiss Tech going on this car very soon [Music] oh my God that was insanely loud that was ear piercingly loud that's crazy 476 442 476 442 wow that's crazy my eardrums wow I heard the crackles for sure that's interesting I feel like that's on the way here holy no that's interesting been in this car for a long time yeah right you you felt the difference right the responses let me see I got it foreign yeah it's faster I can feel it holy oh God you're a con [Music] pocket [Music] oh yeah third gear I can already feel the torque right on the immediate of like immediacy of the pedal second I'm getting into the pedal I can already feel that the car just moving and this isn't even what it's supposed to make fully like I said it's supposed to make another 20 wheel on top of this and but even what it is right now it's significantly more I can feel it all over the power band everywhere from low end to even up in the higher end of the RPM band foreign hahaha bro when you shift I just fly yeah this thing's moving nice guys oh my God definitely impressive this is only 15 wheel more in like 20 wheel torque it's not even that like watch I'm gonna do the filters and the spark plugs on this thing we're gonna see if it really opens up because something definitely holding this car back based on the dyno numbers because ECC says that the other cars that are you know they do like the same exact setup on it they make like 450s all day long I'm actually impressed with this car that means that there's actually some issue and it's only making that much power and it feels like this that's really impressive foreign so the OEM two that I had on the car the downshifts are really aggressive they used to just like you know really jolt the the chassis um but this one it's way smoother here let's do this I kind of missed the shifts I used to have really aggressive shifts like I feel like I've kind of lost that now kind of disappointed about that the car does definitely pull harder the shifts are super crisp on the up shift so they are actually faster as far as I can tell uh and super and it is a little bit more responsive on the paddle I think however I do feel like I've lost the aggressive downshift in the favor of a crackle instead oh man the dancers are gone all right guys so we are going to install the air filters on the C63 AMG here and uh hopefully that helps because clearly this thing Jimmy is a little dirty and I'm gonna put the hood into service mode one of the beauties of these cars is that you can actually full vertical stand the hood makes it really easy to work on anything in the engine bay um so I was recommended by Vlad from ECC to do the uh spark plugs on this car and the air filter so the airfields are really easy they just sit inside this chamber right here this is this design that Mercedes did on this car is really cool like the intake manifold that's over here the two throttle bodies are are horizontally set up so one here one here right in the middle of this chamber and very different from like LS cars that have like a standard basic throttle body right in the front of the car the area basically channels in through here they go vertically down through a filter or they go vertically upside through this filter that sits here and into a little y split that goes into the back of the intake manifold and the throttle bodies are internally in there which is pretty sick got my boy uh those inismo over there it sounds nasty or something so we're gonna be installing these guys all right I haven't done any like maintenance on maintenance on this type of oil changes because it hasn't really needed anything it's been running great so it's like what's the point but uh definitely needs like a couple things flush diff fluid change and uh filters obviously spark plug oh my God this card's absolutely beautiful so pretty straightforward install literally half this stuff just pops off couple of Torx bolts so it looks like that the old old filter was extremely there was like bees and in it this thing was covered in ass it's disgusting a lot of dust coming out of that so there's definitely some cloggage going on there out just take a look at the amount of sand in this like holy crap breathe into a dirty straw yeah oh that's disgusting why'd you mess up your driveway like that foreign [Music] what the cold [Music] [Music] foreign thank you guys so much for watching make sure
