good morning from Epcot we're here today to visit the international flower and garden festival we came during the opening day of this and we didn't get to eat nearly enough food I wasn't here right so we're like we have a few hours Let's have some lunch let's do it we're going to go in new things try the new stuff this year yeah very excited for it all right so let's head in oh and look at this all the flowers are in full bloom and the butterflies are out floating around checking out all the different flowers here at the wish topiary so that's something that we didn't do last time was go into the Butterfly House oh yeah we could do that wait we don't even need to they're here I know it's true look at that all we are headed in a little bit deeper into Epcot we've got oh I want to go over here let's go look at the construction update over here on communicore this is interesting we just took a photo with a magic shot and look at this Pudo is just kind of walking around feels like Disneyland I wonder if he's like walking to his NE character meeting spot maybe seems like a long way to go you're just in the middle of like the center of Epcot here we also just took a magic shot uh with one of the photo photographers here with a bucket of oranges very Florida I'm excited so we can't really see the sign but there's a sign back here that says Mickey and friends that's Mickey and friends meet and greet and then as we get a little bit further along it's it's ready this opens June 10th and it feels like it's very far along there we go we can see the Mickey and Friends sign from here that's where Mickey's meet and greet will be so where you'll get to meet people like Pluto like we just saw but yeah there are definitely some things that they need to finish on these pipes over here aren't supposed to be exposed they're supposed to have like a casing around them so yeah there is a little bit of work to do but there it's obviously not finished but just from what I can see cuz we can only see what's above the fence line to me it's like giving futuristic gas station oh I don't know do you see it I do see it I'm excited to see this area because I saw some shots from the monreal and there's like some astro turf back there like nice green space and all these lights up here I think this is where they're going to put a stage in maybe like a little party area oh yeah this is interesting cuz there's characters kind of everywhere if you look through the trees here we can kind of see Daisy meeting and greeting over there they also opened up a festival Marketplace back here but it's a Sunglass Hut so you can come here and buy some sunglasses there's also another Festival Market over here that sells what are these things called they're like wind spinners yeah Sun Catchers oh there's one with the castle look at this it's fun How does it go like this wow it's it going to spin back no it's not just kidding so we we did try some sunglasses on over the Sunglass Hut kiosk but the cast member did say if you're looking for more specific Styles or if you're just looking for more styles to go to the Magic Kingdom location or the one at Disney Springs which is over by AMC we are planning to go over to Disney Springs sometime really soon so I might actually get a pair they had some cool ones yeah I was thinking about upping my Instagram game and getting those metag glasses our friend got them and they're really cool right they're like the the quality is pretty good pretty pretty okay the only my only drawback is they only record video for 1 minute that's all you need on Instagram that's all you need on Instagram but I'd love to sprinkle it in the Vlog occasionally too oh my goodness so this is a sugar Boo popup right here but they've got Jelly Cat like purses we bought this this was um Oliver's first Jelly Cat plushy was this this Cloud wow that's so oh there's even a raincloud oh he's angry look at him he's so grumpy oh I love this right in the sunshine oh and the rainbow oh my gosh his whole room is Rainbow themed like rainbow and beach themed should we get it well on the way out we'll get it I love it also look at this sand castle that's adorable I know and like a snorkeling egg is it yeah he's got little flippers and a mask on oh my God he's just out for a little snorkel swim you know he went to a private island look at this guy he's out for a show he's going to like solve a mystery you do some magic oh they they're getting married oh that makes more sense we talked to the folks over here at the sugar Boo booth and they told us that Jelly Cat has noticed how good they sell at Sugar boo so they send them stuff that's like not even out on the website yet like it's they're like exclusive exclusive stuff and they had specific stuff that's only here at this booth that you can't get at the Disney Springs location so I did buy the sun purse and then I got the cloud keychain cuz I think Jackson will like love it yeah for I'm going to wear it but I think he'll really get a kick out of it also we're passing by the peanut butter and jelly garden and some days I don't know if they're like only on weekends or if it's just a surprise uh Uncrustables Uncrustables will be out here just like giving out free Uncrustables oh yeah look at that sounds nice Something Free from dis all right we've made it out to World Showcase and now we are deciding to make our left here so we will be going clockwise around World Showcase let me ask you this and maybe you've talked about this but the statues the 50th statues yeah what are they just here forever yeah they took away like 50th emblems I don't know about forever do they still make the noises and stuff there Asha walking over oh they do still make the noises oh there she is is look good to see you but our first stop will be over at the Mexico Booth so the Mexico Booth is called Hardin de fiestas and every item every food item here is new so we're going to get all three of them be nice cuz we'll be able to get some nice savory items and then a dessert so we got our food from the Mexico Pavilion Mexico Booth I wanted to show off these topar cuz these are new topers we got Miguel and we got Dante and if you have the chance to come here at night and see Dante at night they have all lit up in all the different colors I like how the Moss is coming out of his guitar yeah and I like how the like the flower petals are coming off his fingers oh yeah it's cool looking it's really pretty also I've never seen these top areas before they have the flower and garden festival ears on them Synergy so we got the Tamal de rahas pablano Peppers corn and cheese in Masa topped with pablano cream sauce Crema Mexicana and pickled carrots and onions with chives This was $88.75 oh it's very cheesy look at that cheese Pole oh yeah look at that okay I'm using my my uh Spike Spork it's not very easy to use but good for the environment and a dessert day it's kind of bland I feel like it needs like hot sauce or something oh okay the flavor is good but I just think it needs more it needs just like a little something else it's very obviously very heavily corn flavored there's a lot of flavors of the cheese the The Pickled um onion like gives it a nice little like tang and a little crunch cuz the texture is pretty mushy it's kind of blend taste it tell me what you think oh I think the carrot really added to it oh okay I didn't get anything in this hold on it was like a a pickled carrot it's good oh the carrot doesn't I'm just spit on my phone don't tell anybody the carrot doesn't come apart so I'm going to take a little tiny piece of it here okay and we were sitting next to uhoh see the cheese yeah that's good yeah very cheesy we were sitting next to a lady and she was also eating the the Tamal she said it was very good she just had a she had one in New York she said that didn't taste great so eating this one was a nice surprise yeah I mean I could it is a more of a bland flavor it has a tiny kick of spice in there very cheesy but like you know how cheese isn't a flavor it's kind of like a creamy yeah cheese almost sometimes mutes the flavor to me yeah a lot of corn flavor in there though because there was cornbread yeah and I the star of the show for me was the the carrot the Pickled car it I don't know I liked it it was good it was easy to eat and like tasty not so you know something that's not overly hot for a hot day but it was you like you said a little Bland this is the sopa de chili Oro it's a guo pepper brazed pork on fried corn shells with black beans shredded cabbage Crema Mexicana queso fresco and chives for $8.50 let's get into it I'm excited for this pork and almost looks like an English muffin under there yeah those are called they called those fried corn shells that's the soapa oh okay so we did bring all of our reusable silverware and even though this knife is a little bit sharper than the ones that they offer here that are like the single use Plastics still hard to cut through this so I think that this corn shell is going to be a little bit like chewy chewy that is awesome a lot of lot of like Umami flavors where it like brings out the the the Sal saliva in your mouth is it like a super Savory taste per sa very like salty the cheese really brings out a creaminess of it and then the corn cakes add it almost tastes like a Frito ooh right I like that this is awesome I want to eat this 100 times over try this are you talking to me or them yeah everybody oh okay we're all invited oh okay yeah it kind of gives me like um chalupa Vibes like the the shell sort of gives me that that like flavor and then the whatever the hot sauce is is really good yeah wow it gives it a really nice not too spicy just enough of a kick the pork is very tender super great flavor the cabbage on top gives it a like a nice refreshing crisp crunch it's cool goes well with like the rest of like the warm dish I like this I like this better than the Tamal oh yeah I'm excited to try the fla though M so far we've only eaten two things clear winner this is a really solid Booth though yeah so I I'm I'm you know if you're coming in I would say start in Mexico I think most people do start in Mexico but I would highly recommend starting in Mexico I'm getting this also they just like added something to the grill over there or fired it up it smells so good blowing over here it smells real good we got the flond guayaba vanilla flan with guava Ki whipped cream and fresh fruit for $6.50 let's cut that fla ooh look very creamy oh yeah oh she's going for it the guava Ki is delicious it's very sweet but the flan is like nice and creamy it's like a nice balance what's is there like a bunch of birds fighting behind me I don't know there's something happening in the trees for sure it is Springtime you know yeah you know what they're doing yeah this is good it's it's cool it's a nice way to like end this booth because everything was a had a little more heat to it m I like it I'm excited to try it yeah I like the guava a lot sorry I don't want to eat at all okay I know you're not really a fla guy so I'm excited to see what you think of this not my favorite a little bit of a texture thing the koolie is good yeah I think the koolie really like makes it I do too like if you get a lot of koolie in a bite I think that really like sends it home I do wish that it had more berries more of the fresh berries cuz the the tartness of the Blackberry was really nice with it but you only get one yeah if you're eating this eat it with a spoon and try to scoop up as much of the guava kolie as you can cuz that really like sends this over the top We are continuing our way clockwise around World Showcase and our next stop we're going to head off to the China Booth because they have some Mala chicken and we just had some Mala chicken I'd like to compare it so we recently went on a food tour of the Orlando area called Mills the Mills 50 district and it was well a lot of fun we tried a lot of places that we've never been to we tried a lot of flavors that we've never tried and one of the flavors was a sesan oil which like the characteristic of the sesan flavor is this Mala spice meaning it's like a numbing spice right so you get this kind of like buzzing flavor in your mouth this buzzing not flavor sensation in your mouth so that sensation comes from the sesan peppercorn and it's very interesting to feel in your mouth so we're going to test it out and see if it has that same feeling over here at this Booth so this is a race weekend so it is a busier weekend today this weekend is the springtime surprise so 5K was this morning so we are seeing people walking around with their metals and we're headed over to the Lotus house to get our chicken our spicy Mala chicken skewer for 675 it has a creamy peanut sauce with it too so we we trying to like find as much shade as possible so we're just kind of like experiencing the real flowering garden festival we're going to watch all these people eat their food at Nine Dragons we're just staring at them through the window yeah cuz like Taylor Swift I too look through people's windows oh yeah there's something there's like a a pometto poking me in the booty butt oh no so here sorry I know I sounded like I wasn't concerned I am concerned um this is our oo there's a lot of the creamy peanut sauce but this is the the chicken Mala spiced chicken skewer spicy Mala chicken skewer there you go that's what it is with peanut sauce I mean it looks very good I'm going to back up a little bit away from you hold on let's see ooh I like the spicy peanut sauce or the the creamy peanut sauce all right go ahead give it a try so it is chicken thigh I'm a big fan of chicken thigh because of the like tenderness it's got a little bit more like fat content than a breast does and it's just like a nice juicy chicken this is a good one to split too is it spicy though I'm waiting for it to like hit oh okay I'm not like I feel like with something that was called spicy chicken no no no no it is spicy sorry I didn't answer that it is spicy but it's not I'm not getting that like numbing like ever so slightly I'm disappointed cuz I'm not getting that sashan like peppercorn maless but I still love the flavor it's very good the is there but I'm not getting like that numbing I don't know you try it what do you think and the the crunch from the scallion is really nice this is very good we came to stand in this very small corner of shade I was going to leave you in the shade stand there oh than it's definitely not spicy spicy does have a little bit of kick good flavor the peanut sauce really adds to it it gives it like creamy peanut butter tap flavor yeah I like I would just take like a gallon of the sauce it's so funny okay there's a little bit of spice afterwards but it's funny because one time here at this booth something called Dan noodles they lit me up and so every time that something's called spicy from here I'm like waiting you're like afraid waiting for it to be the spiciest thing I've ever had in my life I remember the video because you like you were sweating like sweat was Dripping immediately from your face you were you like coughed and couldn't stop coughing from the from the spice this is not that yeah a very subtle spice it does not give you that the like tingling sensation that you get from the M of spice but you will not be disappointed with this one [Music] so we made it to Germany and this is one of my all-time favorites at this Festival is the toasted pretzel bread with Black Forest ham and melted cheese for $6 the Lin's a little bit long I don't know what do you think do you think we should do it we have so many new things to try all right we'll go do some new stuff so we've made it over to the prim Vera kitchen here in the Italy section and I'm going to be 100% honest we have not had good luck with the menus at the Italy Booth well I will say though the prices are a little more reasonable this year right normally the price some of the things were like $450 and I was like wo but these are all new this sounds delicious it's got a peanut butter ricotta filling yeah it looks wonderful so maybe we should try that okay and then this I'm this is just like a little salad in a in a flower pot yeah that might be nice just cuz it's so hot out and then the arabat pasta has shrimp so you're not going to probably enjoy that right but will get the Quattro Formaggio so should we just get all four new things yeah let's do it let's do it why not When in Rome oh Rome all right so this is the banini this was $77.50 I'm like this is why I don't like coming to the Italy Booth though because like what is this right it's so there's like nothing to it this is mozzarella grape tomatoes and pesto sauce wow for $7.50 okay and then we got the arabiata which is penet pasta spicy tomato sauce and buttery shrimp for $9.25 the Quattro forio which is pan pasta and four cheese sauce for $6.75 and then I think this will be the star of the show The Chocolate canoli chocolate covered canoli shell with peanut butter ricotta filling all right let's give it a try let's see there's 1 2 three three four five six mozzarella cubes and two tomatoes cut in half oh know there's a bug in my I would say just based on portion size and price alone I would not recommend this but let's see if it tastes good it is nice it's cool very hot out today the FL I mean you can't go wrong with cheese and tomato and oh no there's a hair in this is that a hair I don't know looks like it I'm going to go okay I went over to the Italy booth and I said I'm sorry there's a hair in this one and he goes no Madam that's mozzarella and I said no on the mozzarella there's a hair on it and he said oh oh let me change it for you so I did get another one there's a little bit more inside of this one still not the best portion size I'm let's just see if it tastes any different a little bit less hairy the flavor is I mean it's very refreshing on a hot day because everything is cold all right let's give it a try here it is it's cold it's nice on a hot day pesto is not like overly oily or anything like that cheese is nice and creamy a little bit of like a not a what do you call it like a alente would you get it again no okay yeah just for the price I think yeah all right now we're going to try the shrimp the arabiata spicy M I do like an arabiata sauce we usually get the Ros very good but I don't normally put shrimp on it so let's taste it it's not like super spicy not that I necessarily want it to be like overly spicy but the favor it's good the flavor is good the sauce is a little bit sweet it goes nice with like the mild spice pasta's cooked really well the shrimp tastes good it does have a nice buttery flavor there is like a nice portion of shrimp I ate two already so I got nine shrimp that's a pretty good portion all right let's try this Quattro fagio four cheeses we should have asked what the cheeses were raata mozzarella parmesan oriano oo the spice is hitting me from that from my pasta Santa peino this is like very Bland yeah there's not a lot of flavor in here too yeah I didn't see any like spices or any like herbs or anything no kids might like it though kids will love this you know what I think this booth is probably pretty popular though because it's a Familiar Taste right you know pasta you know like Capra salad you know what I mean so I feel like this is a good booth for people who are maybe new to the festival it's a good way to dip your toe in cuz you probably already know these things yeah yeah good call all right this is what we showed up for this is what we were excited to try you want to try you you should try it okay I'm going to try it yeah o that's a lot of chocolate there thick lirer my goodness all right here we go this had a peanut butter or theot filling that is very good yeah the peanut butter is like so creamy and so peanut buttery well R is out yeah so peanut butter and cheese huh I'm not getting a huge cheesy flavor in there okay I'm getting a lot of peanut butter so you won't be putting cheese on your next peanut butter sandwich no okay but like the peanut butter it's like stick to the roof of your mouth peanut butter as opposed to sometimes you get like peanut butter pie and it's not like very like sticky this stuff is very good and that layer of chocolate was thick yeah oh it looks so good is that my bite this is your bite this is it was I would recommend that like it was a small portion for the price but still very tasty I'm I'm going to eat it with my hands I know you're probably not supposed to it's okay I had a hard time cutting it with my fork okay that is really good pretty nice right I think it makes up for everything makes up for my hair and my food it's like an Italian Reese's pean butter cup oh yeah oh my gosh yeah when you come to this booth just get four of these yeah so we just went over and right next to where we're eating there was a photo pass photographer doing some magic shots I'm we going to put those in right now camera noise camera noise camera noise but now we're contining our way around World Showcase heading over to the Japan Booth I also wanted to mention so this gelataria gelateria right here where they sell gelato I had the most delicious pistachio gelato here I never had had it again but I think about it all the time see here flavor of the month oh maybe it was a flavor of the month oh I don't see the oh pistachio over pachio gelato okay so maybe it's interesting but it was so good it was so good gelato Creations I don't know yeah I wonder cuz it's not listed there but it's listed down here you're walking through Epcot and you're passing by Regal Eagle Smoke House there is this small Alleyway to the left of it always check down this Alleyway because you never know who you might see well they do this thing called character paloa whenever the characters are maybe coming out for the first time and they're like learning the moves I don't know how to do it I I want to keep the magic but so this is kind of where the the characters in training would come and like train yeah so they're kind sometimes you'll see like 10 characters back here and it's like wild yeah yeah and sometimes rare characters too mhm you never know always keep your eyes peeled look he's making a little Mickey out of the mulch W it's so perfect looking W yeah look at how like nice that is perfect circles perfect how did he do that I don't know oh there another Festival Market over here by America where they're selling the Dapper Day brand dresses I don't know like what this is but I love it amazing yeah look at this little dinosaur we he's going to work little thing they call the rat race what do they do for a living what does a dinosaur do for a living the Triceratop she's got earrings and pearls on this is so cute right I would totally buy this if I knew what size I was right extra small looks pretty big though no it's supposed to be like an oversized like a baby doll dress okay so I don't I definitely I'm not I know that I'm self-aware enough I think you'd have to try it on too because it seems kind of short too cuz you're a taller lady well it's supposed to be short that's why you get it bigger I think oh okay oh also this dress is $150 I like it I wonder if so they had this like brand that was called the dress shop brand but this is Dapper Day is Like a separate entity so I'm wondering has pockets and it has pockets it feels like an apron oh yeah so like I'm interested to know if this is the only place they're going to be carrying these or if they're going to like maybe have a place in the co-op we're going to go to Disney Springs in the next couple of days so we'll check the co-op for you guys did you see the Epcot shirt over here like the multiple there's a dress too oh yeah the dress too and a parasol wow you could be like fully oh and a little cchf too they fully EP popped out oh my God this so perfect oh and it matches the dress on the collar well this is you buy the you buy the color separate amazing I would just buy this sweater I love it sweater is awesome I have so many sweaters and it's literally de million degre I love sweaters why cuz I can never wear them we did buy a few things at the Dapper Day Booth I'm I'm going to show them the one thing yeah I bought this shirt and Jen bought a matching dress so I realized now why I like it so much I had a bedroom sheet set that looked very similar to this yeah and it reminds me of my sheets do you know which ones I'm talking about we have a pillowcase in the the linen closet yeah it looks kind of like it reminds me of that yeah I love it I want to wear it me too I got the dress yeah so the whole reason that that Booth was here it's a popup because Dapper Day is this Saturday the 20th here at Epcot and then the 21st at Magic Kingdom so so the day that you're watching this video is probably Dapper Day right and there that Booth was just there as a pop out popup just for Friday Saturday Sunday mhm so if you're here this weekend go check it out so we've made it over to Hanami fan favorite fui is returning but we're getting the two new items the steam bun and the ramen cup they have some descriptors on how to eat a Ramen cup you flip it over you shake it for 10 seconds and then you enjoy this is like a MC salad shaker from McDonald's except for ramen oh let's do it you ready yeah flip it over and Shake It flip it over hold the lid tight it said okay I got it shake for 10 seconds 1 2 3 shake up and down he was shaking it violently up and down in the picture oh it's it's leaking oh no you weren't holding it firm enough I was there's on my chili oil oh yeah that's good looking stuff I got to get a a fork oh no I brought my Fork just kidding so here is my steamed bun filled with vegetables and plant-based soy meat for $8.50 and then this is the ramen cup Ramen salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables grilled chicken and dashi broth with chili oil and Yuzu for $8.50 I'm excited to try this one because it's it's like not real meat in there ooh it looks like a dumpling inside ooh yes the thing that's great about these items is they are like street food you can take them with you and eat them on the go okay the actual bun kind of like a little bit over steamed a little crunchy oh but still sticky and the stuffing on the inside very very flavorful and like moist M good tastes like you're eating like a uh like a beef stew formed into a Patty oh good what's yours like um mine's cold which I I was like oh that might be a little weird but honestly it's so good because it's so hot out today it's 90° oh yeah so this is nice refreshing noodle dish and it has just like the teeniest tiniest kick oo just like very very slight I like that the greens on top are nice cuz it gives it like you know just like a little added texture a little added Crunch and uh the carrot as well so I I don't know I think this is a hit on a hot day nice do it so we're passing by the France booth and there's a lot of new stuff here but we're starting to make our way towards the front because we need to go get Jackson from school so I think we're going to save this for the next time plus you're still eating your noodles well I wanted to mention the the size of the cup is deceiving it's pretty big portion yeah yeah noodles will sneak up on you like that it will watch out they're right behind me aren't they the noodles are right behind me aren't they so we just came out of the bathroom and as we walked out we're over in the UK Pavilion I saw a sign for the Shakespeare garden and I haven't been like looking at the Gardens at all today oh yeah but this one caught my eye because it talks about how Shakespeare uses often uses flowers and Gardens to set the scene for his plays so this one's talking about the 12th night oh yeah and it says and just as often The Bard use plants as symbols and metaphors M it's pretty interesting oh and then they've got like quotes what do you call that like different passages from the play yeah A Midsummer Night's Dream I know a bank Where the wild time blows where the ox lips and the nodding Violet grows white over canopied with luscious Woodbine with sweet musk roses with Egen there sleeps Titania sometime of the night LED in these flowers with dances and Delight you did I'm bad at reading Shak read it you made it through yeah this is cool it's cool that they've like themed all of these Gardens I like it so we're it's about the end of the day for us and at at the beginning of our trip I really wanted to try this Collective Arts Brewing grapefruit lime sour because it sounded so interesting and it is a new addition to the northern Bloom can Canada booth and uh now that we're at the end of our trip I'm like that's I don't want to do that I don't think I can like drink beer in the heat anymore right you know I just was going to get like a little one just to taste it but like I don't know how do people do it I don't know I see people like drinking multiple drinks it is so hot I know yeah I'm going to stick to my water in my cruise line cup mm stopping off at the pineapple prominade we're going to get the Frozen Violet lemonade for $475 this is interesting because the edible flowers for this booth are harvested from the land one of those edible flowers as a matter of fact yeah from the land look at that look at you with your Violet lemonade you're totally EP cotting today I am EP cotting um it's good it's very sweet a little tart it tastes like a like a sweet tart C oh yeah I'll give you I'll save half of it for you okay as we're making our way towards the front of the park we've seen so many people ask where the orange bird sipper is people have asked us people have asked other cast members it's over in The Odyssey building at Florida fresh so hey how's it gone hi so if you're looking for it that's where it's at you too you too all right so there you have it that was our trip out to epcot's flower and garden festival very enjoyable trip we tried some new things we tried some old things we got sweaty it's so hot I definitely recommend if you're coming especially during this season drink lots of water wear lots of sunscreen and try to go inside as much as you possibly can to get in the AC yeah but and seek out shade it's only going to get hotter from here yeah so also we did a little bit of shopping today I'm excited to go home and like try our clothes on yes we so we bought some items from the Dapper Day kiosk we bought a couple of things from sugar Boo we got some new Jelly cats it was a great day yeah so all in all it was a fantastic day and with that being said we are off we'll see you all tomorrow I'm Sam I'm from Michigan
