our guests and with a Nicolson who is our church planter a plant in a church in Carthage Tennessee not far away a part of our section he's also our home missions director for our section and so glad that he and his son are here and he was so kind to be in the area and just kind of came by and we had a little bit of chance to fellowship but he had a mission he had seen a couple of things that he wanted to repair on our church and just drove up and took care of it and it wasn't asked or anything just felt the desire to want to try to be a blessing and I know that he would really rather me not say that but I want you to know how much did I appreciate that but the Nicholson let's give him a hand one of our fellow pastors praise God amen amen we also want to we didn't mention it in prayer but before brother Hughes comes we're hosting a senior Bible Quiz tournament this Saturday so remember our Bible quiz there's going to be a great time here at the church amen how many of you were here last night what a great time I know there's more than that amen thank you for coming thank you for being here tonight what a great word we received last night and we were talking in the are on the way from the airport in Nashville yesterday as he was coming in and was trying to keep in track of the time there and found out that we've known each other for 32 years that is amazing I mean the fact that I met you when I was 2 and you were 6 was just but no he he came to Bible College as one of the instructors my senior year and so I only got one year of this brilliant and anointed man and I'm so thankful that God has found throughout the last 30 years for our families to be close and to build a relationship I cannot tell you how much this man means to me personally and has been with me through some difficult times and has invested a lot I appreciate so very much it's an honor to have you tonight you could be anywhere you want to be and I really appreciate you taking the time to be here to preach the word to us last night thank you for preaching the word a man praise God if you were not here it's worth getting the CD and or getting online and listening to it but I want him to come back to this pulpit I've told him that you have nothing to worry about in content time whatever I want him to have his way I want the Lord to use him I want the Lord to help us through his anointed ministry so why don't we give the Lord and brother Hughes a hand as he comes [Applause] if you have your Bibles there it is let's go to the book of John chapter 8 and we will begin reading in verse 30 of John chapter 8 as he spake these words many believed on him then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him if you continue in my word then are you my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free they answered him we be Abraham's seed and were never in bondage to any man how sayest thou you shall be made free jesus answered them verily verily I say unto you whosoever commits a sin is the servant of sin and the servant abideth not in the house for ever but the son abideth for ever if the son therefore shall make you free ye shall be free indeed for a few moments tonight I want to speak from the subject truth at the mercy of a lie what less you may be seated before I begin tonight let me say what a great honor it is to be here it's good to be with brother and sister Phillips that made their acquaintance few years ago and so it's always good to be with him it's good to be a brother and a sister Milligan brother Milligan has been part of my life for a while now and it's been an honor to know him all these years and be part of his life it's just privileged to be here I do hope and pray that something I say tonight will help you to become better now I'm a different kind of preacher if you notice I don't try to get you to shout matter of fact I would rather you left your emotions in the vestibule and bring them in here I'm afraid we relate too much to emotions and very little to word because we like what something feels like instead of knowing what something is about matter of fact I'm convinced that we have become addicted to church and church is about a fix not a relationship and as a result of church simply being a fix Sunday's you get high and Monday's you get low by Wednesdays we have trouble just getting through the day and we're always looking for that next fix that's going to happen that's an addiction and an addictive relationship is a destructive relationship God never intended for the relationship we have with him to be an addiction I have been raised in Pentecost all of my life my mom and dad received the baptism of the Holy Ghost before I was born they actually received the Holy Ghost in 1947 I was born in 1951 I have slept on pews I'll slip under pews I've been to church when hailstones beat the windows out I've been to church when there's two inches of ice on the road when the church door is open we just went to church my dad wasn't a preacher it's just a good Saint and I can tell you one thing that whatever they preached at church we were gonna live at home my parents never asked me my opinion about nothing I didn't get the right to explain my side of the story if I got in trouble at church I got in trouble at home it didn't matter if I thought sister so-and-so was picking on me my mom and dad didn't care if I got in trouble at school I got in trouble at home and my mother had such a prayer life the the moment I walked in the front door she'd say okay what did you do at school today that cost you get in trouble so who's spying on me mom who told you well nobody well how do you know I was praying so we used to live Church at home now we live church at church we used to practice at home what we do at church but now we wait till we get to church to practice and so we only have to practice here and that's why church is an addiction so God gave us the ability to become the greatest people we could possibly be God put inside of us his spirit if you're a baptized believer and you have received the gift of the Holy Ghost and you're a child of God you are equipped with every resource you need to solve or handle any problem that shows up in your life it's in me I have the power and the ability to become anything I choose to now I know that my word says in the book of Romans the 14th chapter xvii verse that the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but it is righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Ghost the word in is a preposition that has position if you jump in the swimming pool you are in the water you don't only have to get the Holy Ghost inside you've got to get in the Holy Ghost as well you got to put it on the outside as well as the inside because the kingdom of God is not food it's not about what you drink or what you eat but it's about righteousness peace and from where I stand in most places it looks like Pentecostal sucker lemons at breakfast limes at lunch and grapefruits at suppertime because we don't show one ounce of joy in our lives but why is that so it's difficult to get us to smile and the heck like we just like being here if you knew what we had to look at when we're preaching when I say something you don't like you don't smile you act like you wish there was a button you could push and I disappeared so we don't come to church to get something or learn it's all about what I feel and if I don't feel something then we haven't had church so you judge a move of God but how many goosebumps you get instead of what you discovered about who God was so your emotions wreck your families they destroy your families because all kinds of chaos your hate anger bitterness jealousy those are emotions they destroy everything about you but we think that's what we have to live for because that's more important than anything else you used to ask a person how are you doing and their response usually would be I am blessed I have had the greatest life God's done so many things for me and it's just a joy to live for God don't ask people today how they're doing see we used to have testimony services where we glorified God and we had to stop them because you quit glorifying God you glorified the devil you talked about how bad a day you'd had and all the chaos in your life instead of talking about the glory of God the psalmist said this is the day that the Lord hath made and I will rejoice and be glad in it now it didn't have to be a sunny day it didn't have to be a day when everything's going right or are a win when my life is is everything I want it to be this is the day there's no conditions to that day it's not based upon how you feel this is the day so we know so little about God that we don't even understand what he wants in our lives I remember the most disheartening thing I encountered teaching Bible College was when I asked kids who had been raised in Pentecost a question about the Bible they looked at me like where that story come from because we don't really know what the Bible sells the value that you place on things defines how you treat them if the Bible is valuable to you you spend your time in it and the amount of time you spend in it tells me how valuable it is to you see we think that all you have to do is own one and if you own one then it's going to change your life you just have to have one in your possession it needs to be by a coffee table by the nightstand or by your bed you've got to carry one in your car as long as you got it say brothers no it's not yes it is since the invention of the printing press the Bible has been the most published book every year there are more Bibles printed than any other book then why do we know so little about it everybody's got one usually three or four you put the family history in front of it so you got to do more than hold it osmosis is not going to help you you're not going to hold it close enough that it just bleeds into your life and you get the effect of everything here you don't know what's in this book you better open the pages and uncover what it says and when you open the pages and uncover what it said Jesus declared in fatica Lee that you shall know not feel know the truth the sad part of it is now I'm an old man God promised me seventy years I got three left and I can tell you in the next three years of my life I'm not putting up with junk okay so I might be brash and I might just say things you wish I didn't say but I don't have much time left so this old man's gonna get on a soapbox and he's gonna scream out enough until somebody hears because our lack of knowledge of the word of God causes us to miss the blessings of God that we we're not even sure what we believe I could point it out to you tonight but I'd be rude if I did but we seen things they're not scriptural so I was at a place not long ago and I it's a singles conference they start singing this dumb song then I turned to to the guy beside me and I said read those stupid words up there the Bible don't say nothing about any of that stuff if you don't go take this service over it's gonna be wrecked right now but just because it sounds good don't mean it's gonna change your life and when you live by emotions you're only listening for the sound of it instead of understanding the knowledge of it what sets us apart as a Pentecostal it's because we believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh he is not the second person of a Trinity He is God manifest in the flesh because John declares John declares that in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the word became flesh and dwelt among us Jesus that's called a son because he was born of a woman and God created a body to live in see our scripture emphatically declares what right yes and what doctrine is and man because of tradition and allowing others to influence their way of thinking come up with this dumb dear that God is three God is not three God is one here o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord Paul declared there is one Lord one faith one baptism one not three four five or six you see truth can be obscured by lies that you believe the truth is anybody walks in this place does not can walk out totally free if they want to but the lie is you're not good enough to do it or you don't deserve it or God don't like you even though truth is here you will allow your your own lies to keep truth from changing you oh you got to have this forgiveness to prove that God can't be but one and he couldn't send his son I got a son his name is Anthony if somebody hurts me I don't call aunt they say aunt they saw and so hurt me really bad please forgive them for me the only person who has the power to forgive is the wounded party for God to forgive man God was injured Jesus Christ did not exist at creation he was begotten which means he came into existence when God the spirit of God which our Bible calls the Holy Ghost which literally should have been translated the spirit of the one and only holiness which is the nature of God when the holiness of God overshadowed Mary she produced a child that body came into existence as a result of the Holy Ghost overshadowing her and a child was born and the Spirit of God the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily in him the fullness of the Godhead dwell bodily in him and we are complete in him they start singing this stupid song about I'd crawl through a hot burning desert just to get to God sounded real good but it's awful stupid you don't crawl through no desert to find God you couldn't find God if your life depended on it God finds you jesus said the day cometh and now is when true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth and the father seeketh such you start looking for God he starts looking for you you don't find God God finds you then we say things that make God mean folks God's not out to get you if God wanted to get you trust me he could do it God wants you to have the greatest life you possibly could have he don't want you to be a bipolar Christian he won't your highs one days and lows the next and highs the next day and lows the next and up and down and up and down like a yo-yo he don't want you to be a a DD or ADHD Christian either where you climb off falls living for God is to be the greatest relationship you have but it comes through a knowledge of who he is and what he will do for you you better understand that God came into this world and God became flesh and what sets us apart from the entire denominator religious world today is the fact we believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and baptism is in his name you go the oldest manuscripts that is known about the writings of the gospel back from the first century Matthew 28:19 is not in any original text was added by the bunch that come up with the idea that God was three persons well how can a spirit be a person please explain that one to me if God is a spirit God is not a person he is a spirit a person means you have flesh and blood the only person of God was Jesus Christ because he was born of a woman and then when he died on a cross and rose from the grave he became a glorified human being that we're gonna be like when we go to be with him you think we make a big deal out of the name if you don't have the name on your life then you have no power or hope of ever changing its that name that makes your life better and gives you the power to become better than you are and change your life because you were buried and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin because that's what the book of Acts says that's what every place and the New Testament did when they preached and people were converted no one's baptizing the titles in the Bible didn't exist by the way even if it was in the Greek language the indefinite article is more powerful than ours if you put D down it don't mean thee it means the one and only so when it said baptize in the one and only name what's the name of the Father jesus said I came in my father's name so that name is Jesus what's the name of the son Jesus jesus said the Holy Ghost going to come in my name so that they're all the one and only name is Jesus and it is your knowledge of Jesus Christ that transforms your life see when you receive the Holy Ghost and you start coming to an understanding of that truth it's going to start leading and guiding you into all truth what Jesus said the Holy Ghost do for you lead guide you in all truth remind you of what I said teach you all things it doesn't play janitor it don't clean your life up or fix your messes don't go around with a dustpan and broom sweeping up after you because you wreck everything Holy Ghost it's going to be your guide there will be the conscience inside of you if you listen to it nobody will ever have to tell you what you should or shouldn't do because the Holy Ghost will speak if your conscience is clear it'll remind you of what I said they'll quote the scripture to you it'll drag every script you've heard back up and remind you okay you're violating the scripture the Holy Ghost if if you have it in your life the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but it is righteousness peace and joy we're in the Holy Ghost in the Holy Ghost it's in the Holy Ghost now if I have the Holy Ghost then I ought to have righteousness should ought to be peace in my life and there'll be joy in my life your neighbors are to be knocking on your door saying why is it why is there so much excitement at this house why do I always hear left or come now this song why why do you have so much fun they shouldn't be hiding because they hear you above all the noise when the Holy Ghost shows up see Jesus I can if you're just listening so man I can give you enough guilt to keep you in line for the rest your life because Jesus said I want to remind you of one little item it would be better you cut your foot off cut your hand off and pluck your eyeball out than to offend anybody so Jesus said I want remind you something whatever you do to them just picture me because that's what you're doing to me so the next time you want to scream at your husband just picture Jesus as his face and then scream at Jesus because that's exactly what you're doing so God's kids shouldn't be screaming slapping kicking biting or pushing or shoving each other so brother Hughes why are you talking about this because when you study families and you go to church every statistic about family gets worse at church when 53% of Americans admit using violence and their families on a yearly basis you go to church at 62 63 % and God said I hate it be better you're better than an unmarked grave where no one knew you existed then to do something like this you start offending people I can tell your heaven or hell issue Jesus said cut the foot off cut the hand off then be cast in the lake of fire took the eye out then to be cast into hell those are Heaven or Hell issues what I do the people around me what I say the people around me that becomes a heaven or hell issue when I hurt wound or maimed somebody I'm in jeopardy of God I've got the Vengeance of God tracking me said don't you know they're angels are always in the presence of my thoughts go to that Matthew 18 read it carefully don't you know not angel he used the plural form they're angels you don't have a guardian angel you have multiple angels watching you and when humans do bad things to other humans those angels report your behavior instantly I told you I could give you enough guilt to last your lifetime next time you want to say something ugly somebody just you this old man's going to step into your mind and you're not going to get him out because that's what the Word of God says be better than a millstone was hanging about his neck and drown in the sea buried in an unmarked grave where nobody knows you exist that's pretty severe punishment my way is capital punishment in Jesus day they're going to execute you it took you out in Mediterranean Sea trying to rope around your neck tied a millstone to it tied your hands and feet together through you overboard and buried you in an unmarked grave you drowned on the way down to your grave that must be pretty serious to God so why don't we let these things happens so American families admit that 33% of them used violence on a weekly basis when you come here forty to forty three percent of us do that 68 to 80 percent of all sexual abuse of children happens in religious environment where people come to church shout and run the Allens God said I hate it but we let it happen why because we let emotions show up and feelings show up and we get our feelings hurt and we think someone's got to pay because they hurt my feelings and then we get in this addictive spiral that we never get out of when we come to church and we should be able to shout and enjoy the presence of God but we walk in here dragging our junk so I want to show you what can happen in baptism when you go down in that water baptism Paul says that's the circumcision of the heart the New Covenant and the New Testament church is a different kind of circumcision in the Old Testament the male's had to be circumcised in the New Testament it's a circumcision of the heart when you go down and water in his name God takes a scalpel and he cuts off every sin you have ever committed in your life and when you come up out of that water every sin remains in that water and you come up free from every sin you ever committed in your life at the instant you go down and you will never be judged for what you did that's the importance of that name okay if God couldn't have a substitute he can't be a substitute all of your sins get buried in the water but every sin committed against you becomes your responsibility to turn loose of so whatever people have done to you now you've got to start doing what God did to you to them so when he cut off that from your life the only way to get people out of your life all those dreams nightmares flashbacks all these things you can't get out of your memory the only way to get them out is to forgive them because it's the only scaffold that God has it allows you to detach what people do to you so when you forgive them now you get to take a scalpel and cut junk off so you start living a life of forgiveness for the rest of your life because you can't forgive tomorrow before tomorrow gets here so if your wife gets up in the morning and irritates you really bad then you're gonna have to do it again if your children say something to you to irritate you really bad you're gonna have to do it again you're gonna have forgiven but you'll say but Hughes that's not fair I don't care it doesn't matter if it's fair or not it's the only thing that works so quit arguing and do it 1993 I had an accident I was working in the back yard of my home my wife I was trying to help her she wanted a debt built on the back of her house and so I was building this wooden deck and my saw blade got dulse and my dad and I stopped went to local Home Depot and bought a brand-new braid it had 42 carbide tip blades now that that's supposed to cut just about anything supposed to be incredibly sharp so I put it on saw and I only had like five more cuts to make so I've used it ten minutes and the last piece I'm gonna cut has to go around the piece of woods it has to have knowledge sought to cross and I started to do the plunge and when I did it just jumped 39 those teeth have come apart in ten minutes and it's just jumped wait a jump it hit me in him and but in pain was incredibly intense and I just grabbed my hand and I don't want to look because I know this bad and I just happened to kind of bent over look down and my finger laid between my feet my dad panicked ran in the house my wife comes in to kitchen where he's had he's opening every cupboard and and and and my why I said dad what's wrong so James hurt himself I need to find say or what'd he do he he just heard him so she comes the back door and she opens back door steps out and she said James what happened I said I cut my finger off and she said are you sure so jess i'm sure it's laying right there and if i open my hand you'll see where it used to be so she turn real wet in the house got a bow got eyes come out put my finger on ice and went and called 9-1-1 and i had 12 hours surgery put them back home they did in her microscope so to every nerve every artery every vein back together throw pins to the end because I destroyed the joint so there's no joint and put it back together it happened on Friday on Monday morning I have to have surgery again to take the bandages off because I couldn't stand the pain so they put me sleep took him off redressed it sent me home Tuesday had to be back the doctors off his own Wednesday so walk in the doctor's office on Wednesday he looks at my hand so well it's not bleeding you need to go upstairs to the 12th floor and and so I go up the elevator 12th floor walk out and over the door glass door of this room it says occupational therapist first thing goes through mine is what am I doing here I mean we're not even a week away from when it happened it this is five days and I walk in and the Latian with mr. Hughes I how'd you know I was coming well they called me said you're on your way up here said Allen so I sit down just stick your hand out so she took a pair of scissors started cutting that stuff off and when when she got it to where it was kind of caked on she took me over sent me and put in a whirlpool and and was so kidding and and I guess I I started turning a little white or something because she said you you want me to stop and I'd say well dad be a good idea just let me catch my breath here and so that and she peeled everyone I'm off and then I'm looking at these two pieces of steel sticking out to look like big long pin sticking out the end of my finger and she brought out four Joker's she set him in front of me there was one had marbles never know if candy jars went around flat on the side round with the little dill on the side where you took the lid off reaching handy and got what you want for those marbles pea gravel rise sand she said stick your hand in this and wiggle your fingers I said do what she says stick your hand in here and wiggle your fingers so no I'm not sticking with God I just cut them off and for 48 hours I had to squeeze it just to get the blood out so I'm not sticking my hand in there you said you're not a therapist you're terrorist and she's lasting no pain no gain I said it's not your body it's mine she said get your I said why do I need to do this she said shut up mr. Hughes and do what you're told you want it healed then stick your hand in the jar and wiggle your fingers so what's this gonna do she said we we sewed your nerves back together if you want feeling in your fingers you've got to stimulate the nerve to get a signal to go through so it'll heal so stick your hand in the jar and wiggle your fingers well the marbles wasn't real bad pea gravel that's kind of bad rice and sand can't stand sand in my shoes today just flashback instant lipstick in my hand a dumb jar but if I wanted my life hold I had to do something I didn't want to do and it didn't feel good to do it so you can whine and complain about everything going wrong in your life or you can do what God's asked you to do it might hurt it may be uncomfortable and you might not like it but I can tell you tonight if you'll do what God suggested you'll walk away with a smile on your face you won't show up at church with frowns and are never happy and no joy and no peace and and nothing in life because if you want change you're gonna have to do what the word says it hurts I asked my doctor two weeks later I said doctor I got a question he said okay what is misuse I said why does this hurt worse now then when I cut them off he's all that's easy mr. Hughes pain is not a sign you're injured it's a sign you're healing you better thank God it hurts because that lets us know you're recovering if there was no pain we had no it's dying and would have to take it all and you'd have Stubbs arrest your life so if you want your fingers to work endure the pain you can't transfer pain you can't make somebody else hurt bad enough to change the pain in your life if you want the pain out of your life you're gonna do it God's Way and there's only one way that's gonna happen you get freed from you in Baptism but you don't get freed from people in Baptism you've got to start the journey after baptism of going to everybody that has hurt you and offended you and wounded you and you've got to say Jesus take your blood go there Lamb's Book of Life erase this sin never judge them for this act and then and only then are you truly for you forgiveness can't happen til you give up all hope revenge and that includes God so in Matthew 18 I love that chapter Matthew Matthew 18 it says whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven that's not about some spirit don't make that a devil it's about forgiveness if you keep it bound here it's going to remain bound there God will not let you step into the arena of revenge God said vengeance is mine saith the Lord I will repay it's mine I will repay God will not tolerate humans trying to get revenge but he will give you his blood and allow you to turn things out of people's lives that they'll never be judged for you can get sin off of them that they didn't amass to have removed whatever they've done to you you have the ability to take his blood go to Lamb's Book of Life erase this sin so that they're never judged for this act and then and only then have you truly forgiven I'm not preaching my sermon for some reason you say it's not right I've heard horror stories I've heard stories that I just my brain can't wrap itself around the evil of people I don't understand how mother can chain her child to a post in front yard with a shackle and a padlock on both ends and force an eye on euro to live outside for two weeks feed it dog food out of a bowl and had lap water like a dog a neighbor's see it and do nothing to change it so I don't understand how a mother can sell her daughter at nine years of age to men so she can have money or Stan that or instead how a mother can wake her chil nut mill knot and beat them until their disc of ruptured kidneys atrophied damaged so severely that it never grows past nine years of age I don't understand that I don't understand a mother that can abandon a child go to a totally different country lived there for two or three years leave a twelve-year on the streets to defend for itself understand that but twelve-year-old as an adult said Rose Hughes McDonnell snows away their sandwiches every hour if it hadn't been bought and it's been made for an hour it's brand-new it has never been eat or touch baby bytes in a box it's thrown away my brother and I crawled in dumpsters dug for food we lived in burnt-out buildings we just lived on the streets don't understand that it's evil or sin how that mother could pour hot sauce in their eyes as punishment or cut their feet when they tried to run away so they couldn't walk and people just tolerate it don't say anything I understand how other humans can stand by and watch evil happen to children when God says I hate it but we do see there's nothing God hates worse than what adults do to kids it's the only time I find God says you'd be better off buried in an unmarked grave but that's history judgment but it doesn't matter how evil she was if she wanted to be free she's gonna have set mom free no way to get mom out of her life they say Jesus take your blood go to mother's Lamb's Book of Life he raced this sin never judge her for what she did to me she said I can't do it you know what she's done I have her CPS records they're all 500 pages thick that's after 13 can't do it you know what she did I can't ask God not to punish her for what she did to me so it doesn't matter if you don't do it you're never gonna be free you're gonna live the nightmares flashbacks the bad dreams from now on they're gonna keep showing back up because you won't let her go check hints okay I can't help you she left about six months later I get a phone call she's alright I'm ready to do it I said are you sure yes meet me at church so he come to church came to the altar I said I know you can't pray so I'm gonna pray and I want you to repeat what I say she said okay I said Jesus please take your blood because your word says I can loose in heaven what was committed to me here on earth and when I loose it here I can loose it there so Jesus I'm following your word so would you please take your blood go to mother's Lamb's Book of Life erase this sin she committed against me never judge her for what she did she couldn't say it for 45 minutes there was a struggle she'd choke should try to get it out couldn't see him finally after 45 minutes she screamed Jesus and when she got Jesus out the rest just poured out and she started naming I've made it general she started naming every sin mother had committed against her erased this one Jesus never judged her for that erased this one Jesus never judged her for that erased this one jesus never judged her for that erase when she got to the last erase this one Jesus never judged her for that her face lit up like a lightbulb she jumped to her feet she started screaming her face got to use his blood to get out say God can't forgive for you he can't remove in water what people did to you because that becomes your God forced those things out of your life it would destroy you so he has to wait for you to decide to let it go and when you decide to let it go I don't care how bad things have been in life you can be free she goes all over now I'm telling her life story because she's free she couldn't even talk about before but she's give her testimony and all kinds of public places about what God did in her life as a six year old at school one of her schoolmate whose name was mark told her Jesus loves you she had this little diary she what wrote in she kept a little record of her life she went home that day from school and she wrote in that little diary who is Jesus I sure wish I knew who he was Jesus if you're really real somewhere in my life will you let someone introduced me to you in Houston Texas about to commit suicide she had the medicine laid out she has fixed and taken overdose she cried out one last time Jesus I don't know who you are I don't know nothing about you but if you're really real help me find you she will open the yellow pages flipped it open closed her eyes said all right Jesus direct where I go stuck her finger in the yellow pages it came up life Tabernacle Clearlake she called she said pick the phone up said if so no one answers his phone Jesus it's over pick the phone up started down the number pastor was driving by his church wasn't going to stop and go in but just felt I gotta go in for something I don't know what this heals turned his vehicle in the driveway pulled up under the drive-thru got out walked in the door and the phone started ringing he answered it greater Life Church she said could you teach me about Jesus he said I'd love to teach you about Jesus would you like a Bible study please would you give me a Bible study preachers name is mark because the first little mark at six told her who Jesus was that Jesus loved her God sent the next one into her life but she still had to get the junk out if you want to be free you come to this church and set here bound when you have the opportunity to be totally free and you're only bound because you let lies whole truth in prison you went out y'all get rid of lies you're not broke you're not junk you're not defect I don't care how many people told you were stupid or how many people did bad things to you you're not worthless not broke you're not defective humans cause other humans major problems and do evil to them but God heals Jesus said I've been sent to heal the brokenhearted that's why he's here and he's here tonight to heal somebody if somebody would just open your heart and invite him in so all right Jesus I want to can I use your blood you know who I need to turn loose up you know what they did to me but I need to let them go then you'll be free please stand gracious Father let me thank you first tonight for your incredible gentle spirit that has walked into this place you have driven out fear you have brought such peace that anybody who would open your heart and invite you in can walk away changed or Jesus thank you for caring enough about us that you direct us to your word and when we follow your word you direct us to touch the heart of life of someone who's struggling or Jesus you see our hearts you prepared this atmosphere before we got here you knew today who would be here tonight because you're already in my tomorrow before I get to her or Jesus you see every heart is here tonight and I know your greatest desire is to heal our brokenness so that we can not only be free spiritually but we can be free emotionally and not be bound by the junk of our life any longer lord I pray tonight that your children wouldn't be afraid and they wouldn't give an invitation and they would say to you Jesus please come into my heart would you take me by the hand would you walk with me to the quarters of my heart you know where every door in my heart is I've locked up that I don't want to open or let out you know what's behind it that's tormenting me that's wrecking me and destroying me so Jesus while I'll hold your hand will you take me to the door and will you hold my hand as I open that door and when I get it open and see who's inside and realize I may feel that pain again because the memory may be triggered but I'm gonna ask you for permission to use your blood and I will erase the record of whoever's behind that door so that they're no longer bound in heaven because I loosed them on earth and you loose it in heaven so I set them free today Jesus heal hearts tonight Jesus because you're the heart mender in Jesus name I open these altars to you tonight did respond to what you feel and not be afraid you can leave here totally transform and go home totally different than you came he will never force you he will never demand but if you'll open your heart and do it there's incredible deliverance and freedom here you can get your joy back get your peace back you can get your life back tonight if you want it don't let Satan or words convince you God don't care God's not concerned it can't be any different those are lies you can be free tonight just open your heart thank you for your sweet presence Jesus but I pray I release you into the hearts of your people tonight let the healing balm of Gilead flow among us right now would you bring healing into our hearts Jesus when our hearts are healed then let us begin the journey of liberating and delivering and setting ourselves free from the chains of words and behaviors and deeds that others have committed against me or Jesus take your blood go to Henry's Hank Sam's Mary Sue's Land Book of Life erased the sin never judged them for the act they committed against me I set him free Jesus by the power of your spirit call out to him tonight you have his a year I promise you if you made your way the front of this building today if you're standing here at the altar he saw your move and he's right beside you and what you hear him speak if you just open your heart and respond he will come in and help you to become delivered from whatever it is that's bound in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus that's it call out to him tonight in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus he's not going to
