Road House clearly takes the honor for 'best dialogue ever written.'
Damn.. everybody just hates this scene from True Romance now? lol
Best dialogue ever written... absolutely not. Most satisfying satisfying smoking from Hopper... possibly. I challenge any smoker to watch that and not crave a cigarette.
I like the moment before Hopper asks for a cigarette, when he realizes he isn't getting out of the room.
It is a really great scene. Two great actors having a laugh :)
The music pulls everything together. Maybe not the best dialogue scene ever, but could be one of best death scenes ever.
"best dialog ever written"?
Good lord Tarantino fans are insufferable.
If you people want to see some prime Dennis Hopper I beg of you to watch Blue Velvet.
Frank Booth: What kind of beer do you like?
Jeffrey Beaumont: Heineken.
Frank Booth: [shouting] Heineken? Fuck that foreign shit! Pabst Blue Ribbon! That's what you'll drink tonight!
I always thought it was weird that this was Walken's only scene in the movie. Instead Gandolfini's character is sent after Clarence and Alabama.
