welcome back to another 10 minutes Tuesday guys today we're going to make this uh amazing uh 3D chest pirate chest okay all right so let's get started before we start I'm I just want to turn on the screencast because uh um whenever I press uh any button you can see it here because I have a time limit of 10 minutes so we have to make it in 10 minutes that's the challenge for me and while doing it I might use this shortcuts so you can follow along here any button I press it will appear here okay so let's get started where is our timer okay a uh one all right let's go press a select all X delete we need new mesh let's take a cube we have to make everything from the one Cube okay that's the challenge just press one to go to side view s scale it down and I want to scale it up to the Z access okay so I'm like this and let's give it uh another apply scale and press one press three okay I want to separate it let's go here and let's just put it right here I want to separate this top turn on XR mode just select this faces P2 separate okay now I got separate part and I find it easier to make first uh one side of the chase because I made couple of chests and I find it easiest to make a uh first one side like one part and mirror it copy it so you can see it while I'm doing okay so just follow along just select this bevel it I want to Bevel it till here I think this is okay and let's give one Loop cut here also and next let's give one look at here and let's give another here I I forgot to put it here because I have a plan let's turn on this one and let's select this post control B to Bevel and scroll your mouse to to get this uh more Loop Cuts y that looks nice all right the next thing let's get this okay let's give apply scale apply scale I have a time limit I have to be hry I'm giving bevel modifier to give this smooth age look you know you see in real life like nothing is oh as sharp as this one just select this and select contrl L to copy modifier to down okay now next chest there is wooden wooden chest you you see inside I want to put wooden uh elements do you do you call elements or objects I think it's called just put the comments down below like how do you call what's going on um so how I did it I think you missed it right I just control Z once I delete all the uh the faces and I select press a and F to fill I just fill it it you see and it gives this wooden texture wooden style okay now if we go back pressing forward uh forward slash now you see it looks really good right let's just select this and I want to uh how do you call scale it to the Y AIS I think you see this side we got this we got this wot style let's get it down a bit to both side and let's control a to apply scale to get this beautiful look and we have to do the same to the top view um actually I want to just copy this one and move it out it's easy let's go again separate it by pressing forward slash and go to inside select this this this this this part holding shift shift d to duplicate e to separate now we got the separate object just select this and forward slash let's go and move it up it looks weird right because we didn't give the Extrusion just go to Top View Press a e to o press a and I I mean a now just extrude it a bit you see we got this nice shape and let's turn it let's let's turn it it rotate it to 180° because the this part should be somewhere here and let's s to scale it down and has to scale it to this side okay we are getting somewhere let's move it inside okay and I don't need this top part let's go to edit mode select this press three and x-ray mode to see it better just select this and just go here press L to select only that object and X to delete vertices okay now go to object mode now we got this but but to this side let's give it what is that mirror modifier okay it's it's over offset how do you call it this select this mirror object just select this okay now it's done no it's not done just select this we have to give the same we have to do the same thing just select it just move it up apply scale just go to edit top edit mode you see it's a lot of vertices select this one this this let's give one more here because why not why it down a bit okay and as to scale it up is to scale it down a bit C A to apply all right that looks good and select this s to scale it I want this okay let's give it origin to Geometry has to scale it now and give it apply scale okay it's almost let's move it up a bit B scale it down move it down apply scale all right it's it's ready not quite okay let's give some style here need to insert e to camera and go here and let's type 30 minus 30 30 5 and 45 is okay let's go to camera view and it's too much I have to change the resolution 1200 by 1200 and select our camera just go here I want it orographic view okay that looks nice and just change it just tilt it this one up a bit okay that looks nice and next thing let's go shift a let's give it lighting so I selected area light and move it up go here and increase the power to 1200 okay let's go to this viewport shading you see it's it's let's increase it move it down let's copy it here and move it here and press zero to go to camera view I think we have to give lights here and sh sh I'm just copying by shift d and let's move it here and here let's see okay that looks nice now let's select this background I want to start the coloring from the background okay go here uh material stop and press new let's give it some like bluish white that's okay and and let's start with this one I want to give press new and just select this glossy bsdf it's little dark I want it to where is the color in mind just orangish something like this okay same color just here to this one also same these are also same and we have this is also same color let's select this we have to give new color wood wood color okay and done it's done okay it's not done let's refine it it it looks sh not good okay just switch to to Cycles to get this because I made maybe 100 I don't remember uh so okay and I have bonus tip just go shading we have to give this um texture you see the trees have this line textures so to do that we need a noise
