Travelling to the Gold Coast Australia 🏖️ Surfers Paradise, sunsets & exploring 🏄🏼‍♀️

today we are traveling to the Gold Coast for the first time gold case here we come wow this is crazy so far we've explored Melbourne and Sydney but today we're traveling farther up the east coast to begin exploring Queensland and our first stop is the dreamy Gold Coast that is something else this city is home to one of the best beaches which stretches for Miles so we thought the best way to explore the Gold Coast is to hire bikes well that's what we thought until we actually saw them that was bike life going have you seen me so we're currently in Sydney just packing up our room getting everything ready to go we're leaving to go to the airport in like 10 minutes time so we've got like an early flight today it's like 10 a.m so it's not like super early but yeah early enough which is quite nice so hopefully all goes to plan this time everything goes fine with Jetstar if you see my previous videos you'll know what I'm on about [Music] oh [Music] thank you we made it to the airport we're just chilling our flight so far fingers crossed is on time which honestly makes me so happy 10 times better the last time that's for sure gold case here we come [Music] made it to Gold Coast it's so hot it's well now so we're gonna get a bus to our Airbnb and also I need to get a tram as well so it's gonna be fun I just love trying all the different public transports [Music] so we tried to get on the bus but apparently we had to go buy a go card which you can use all around Gold Coast and it was just ten dollars for the day and he she even said you can use them in Brisbane as well cage it's like the whole area yeah so it's this system that's pretty good really so we just have to buy that ten dollars for like a day pass but you can top them up so at least we've got them now and we just have to get them from WHSmith which was super easy so let's try again foreign [Music] ize but we can't check into our Airbnb for like an hour so we're just going to go find a coffee shop and just chill out for a little bit and just wait till we can check in it's so nice little First Impressions like driving through oh it looks incredible I just bought me a coffee that bought me the smallest size you could possibly get you said you wanted a small circle small small I only like oh I just ask for a small what am I supposed to do I don't talk in this event so I appreciate it thank you yeah right next time I'll sit down there and you can go off and Order and wait yeah yeah you said it's nice so yeah I mean look how cool it is though can't win with something so we've made it to our Airbnb but we messaged Airbnb host earlier and basically said like we're Landing like early is it possible so like at all to get like an early check-in and he was like let me check to like see when the other people are checking out and see when the cleaners are coming and they didn't respond for like ages and then he replied and was like haven't heard back from the clear so we were like oh okay we'll just go get a coffee we'll just like wait until check-in time and then he messages in like quarter to three so three p.m is like the check-in time and he's like um probably won't be ready till 4 P.M so now I just started like oh I really want to shower yeah I really want to shower I need a wee I'm just like there was no toilet in our Starbucks either so we're just waiting here and hope well we've got another half an hour until hopefully we can check in but yeah a little bit annoying I'm more annoyed the fact that we asked for the early check-in and now it's not even ready at the check-in time but you know what can you do we just had a little walk along with our house paradise and stuff and it looks so low so I'm just so excited to be here so I'm a bit of a man so it's now half four and we went to the room and it's like really dirty like the bed is just like fully not made and everything so yeah it's just not like thinking at all so we're just kind of like not sure what to do we've messaged the Airbnb host but yeah it's kind of like annoying because if we didn't have our like huge suitcases we could just go out and explore it wouldn't be that much of a biggie but obviously because we've got like both or 30 kilograms of luggage it's just like annoying dragging them about um so hopefully we can get in the room soon so that's the only downside of looking for Airbnb it can be a little bit hit or miss so we've made it into a clean room now and it's basically like a hotel kind of like a part Hotel Vibe when we first came in it was quite dirty so we didn't like properly look around or anything and I did not spot the view which sounds ridiculous when you see it in a second but I just didn't like take any like take it in at all but the view is absolutely stunning so anyway let me give you a room tour let me show you the view so this is the door here and then as you come in you've got like a little kitchenette kind of area here with microwave toaster cat all of that stuff so we can do a little bit of cooking I also got a hob there here we've got a desk now as you come around here look at the window so we've got a little balcony with like the most insane view of the sea like what and then here is the bed and then look at this like just imagine waking up to that like that is insane I can't believe what the most like this is the most incredible view of the sea ever it's pretty sick I feel like this is what you're paying for when you're seeing her like this is it's crazy so I I can't believe we're gonna be waking up to this maybe we should sleep with the blinds open so we wake up to like sun does rise that way somewhere yeah how fun would that be anyway we've got a wardrobe here so yeah it's kind of basic but it's quite amazing and dated but I mean it looks nice still yeah and then the only other thing is the bathroom and hair which which I have left the shampoosing delicious but it does look way cleaner than it did earlier so that's a bonus how much did this cost can you remember 600 something could for five nights five nights it's not too bad to be honest especially for a view like this so we're gonna unpack get a bit of settled and then head out and start exploring I feel like we should go in the sea or something it looks so nice out there so we were just unpacking but let me show you the sunset right now it's looking so pretty out here you just can't beat this for you can you that's pretty sick pretty so we're just having a little walk out and about and it's like it's so warm even though it's like late Jasper's excited to go fill the city yeah do you think it's gonna be warm it'd be warmer than Sydney yeah I think I Googled it and it showed it's warmer ah well there's quite a few people still in there so yeah when we let it out just that I know there's a lot of people sitting there so just at the end we're so close to it they were in such a good location this is so nice oh my gosh each is absolutely huge seasoner yeah it's so cool just a nice Sandy Beach as far as you can see yeah it's so restrained how I like the skyscrapers are right next to the beach yeah it's like Dubai it's so pretty I can't wait to see it in like tomorrow in the day it's been full of water thank you is it warm oh it's not actually that bad yeah like refreshing when you first like jump in on a hot day and then it'll just be like fine yeah it's definitely warmer than Sydney yeah way warmer in Sydney lessons because like I could handle these ways I think we can't say it in Bali that we're gonna do that yeah the days weren't that we went to go do it there was just no way yeah we need to do something at some point just to try it it always works so far when we see people starve I didn't see it uh like you know Airbnb just like recommends trips oh you know Airbnb recommends true yeah I've seen it on there it was like 36 pound each or something we should do it yeah it would be good fun although we're going to an even better South in destination in a few weeks so sweet yeah that'd be like a warm-up for that one yeah that's true to me and I was over here and you saved me you're actually Survivor singer oh no you always gas me up I do clearly good morning from the Gold Coast wow I kind of had forgotten about the view and then as Jasper opened the curtains this morning I was like Wow there are so many like taller buildings than what we're in around like just imagine the view from that it's just crazy anyway last night we had a little wand around kind of surfers paradise and all of that along the beach and everything and it was so nice and it was way more lively than I was expecting there are so many people singing in the street this is definitely like a very touristy era and that's what the vibe I got last night I feel like this is kind of like the liveliest place that we've been to in Australia especially the area that we're staying in like Surfers Paradise on First Impressions absolutely love it here so today we're just going to pretty much explore and then kind of like figure out what activities we want to do um and just kind of see what's out and about in the area and grab a coffee as well because we need to try the coffee and Gold Coast my favorite coffee has been in Sydney so far Jasper's just cooking us up some breakfast I think we're just gonna have like avocado and toast or something that is the advice for today I also slept so well I think I was like I think traveling days I don't know why just fully take out of me so yesterday I had such a lovely night's sleep I just want to go get in the sea but also kind of scared of sharks so oh come on Jasper says I shouldn't be and I should stop moaning about sharks but if I gain alive I bet you the ratio of people that go in the ocean every year in Australia to the amount of people that get attacked by a shark it's pretty high it's probably not very high and it's not like you I know they do come in like close because you see videos on like in waves and stuff yeah but like we've seen in um that manly and realize that they have yes yeah they tag the Sharks and then it pings when a shark's nearby yeah I suppose they have all like these rolled up the coast yeah that's very true yeah I'm sure it'll be fine anyway one last look of the view before we head out immacula like if you just woke up to this every single day you just wouldn't have a bad day would you it's crazy [Music] so we just got ourselves coffees just went iced I went warm again I got an oatmeal glass head it's so delicious good and and the coffee shop was really cute wasn't it yeah so aesthetic nicer lover but it's so hot we need to put some sun cream on we're gonna go to the beach go to the beach also got I got I just realized I've got a hole in my top so bad you know this is honestly we haven't done any laundry for like yeah we've got to do it later in a week or so so we've got to do it tonight but this is the only outfit I have left I think it's like how long has that actually been since we oh yeah I guess it is a week it feels like we've got loads though yeah um which I have to say at least I won't miss you so see me from a mile away oh we just walked back to the hotel because we had like a change of plan we're actually gonna go higher mountain bikes and like ride up and down but we just walk into the beach and we just saw so many people riding bikes through like this is the best way to get about and we just found like a higher company that you can hire bikes from so we're gonna hire them for like five hours you can just see so much more when you like ride bikes so that is what we're gonna do so I shall bring you along and let's go get bite [Music] foreign [Music] [Laughter] bikes are actually really good which is a bit weird but you know we're just going to let you ride along the whole length of the beach pretty much well not the hole then we'll be back in Sydney oh yeah but you know as we can go and yeah before you go to Burley heads is that what we've got them it's like a 35 minute bike ride okay cool I think we need to join the road slightly here and then we join back onto another path which leads all the way there it's literally like cycle Lanes everywhere so it's like yeah this is a cycle and footpath yeah love it so which is crazy about it's so beautiful though there's so many like pass down to the beach yeah that's it all of the buildings just look incredible I love this I'm so glad we did it it costs so we can have them for six hours and it costs like 30 49 49 each so it's a little bit pricey but 27 28 pounds each yeah so it's not like super cheap but too far it could be worse but it's like for a whole day in it yeah so I'm actually really excited to go on Visa yeah we probably need to go soon because the Sun goes over the buildings all right let's go [Music] so you've just parked our bikes off over there and we've come to this part of the beach and it's called no that well that's the North Valley is it North Burley North Burley Lookout North Valley look out so we're gonna go have a look up there and walk up these colorful steps I love bike life though it's so fun that is something else the beach just looks incredible doesn't it I can't see where the beach let's go yeah insane we're just having a little walk up here what is that that's such a cool looking bird can you see it on camera just uh you know what it is it's crossing the fire yeah snakes anyway we're just walking up here because this is the actual Viewpoint so we thought we'd come have a little look up a couple of stairs whoa [Music] [Music] that is very cool I love that so we're now gonna get back on the bikes and keep riding we're back at Airbnb and honestly why is cycling so tiring I actually feel like I need to take it off as like a form of exercise because what do you mean why is it so tiring like it's so tired you do an exercise yeah but it looks like it should be easy I did cycle a little bit in Melbourne because I used one of the lime electric bikes and I was like I was like this is so easy and I was kind of like in my mind expecting it to be like that but actual cycling way harder we're now chilling I've showered I feel fresh again so I really hope you guys have enjoyed this Gold Coast Vlog we're gonna we've got like three more days in the Gold Coast so I'm gonna film another Gold Coast Vlog to show you what else we got to but honestly I feel like the Gold Coast is my favorite part of Australia so far I swear every single Vlog I'm like this is the best this is you're not gonna believe me at some point but I feel like the Gold Coast is the perfect mix of like beachy surfery like really Chill Vibes everyone seems so positive so happy but the part we were riding through earlier it was called Miami and it was beautiful like I would hands down own an apartment there it was that stunning like all the houses were like super big like right on the water like every single part of it was beautiful so that whole area was just insane and the beach all along is so wide like I just don't think photos and videos do it justice of how wide the beach is bigger than any other Beach I've been to overall My First Impressions the Gold Coast absolutely love it it's also so much hotter here like the weather is just way better than like Melbourne even Sydney to be fair Sydney's weather was definitely better but it was still like really cloudy whereas here actually feels really nice and warm anyway I shall catch you guys in the next Gold Coast Vlog bye in the next episode continue to explore the Gold Coast and we actually head to the top of the highest building in the Gold Coast I do feel very high up but you can see so much we also swim in the ocean and then we head back to Burley heads and spend the day exploring this is so cool foreign [Music]
