Trash Picking Dumpster Therapy

got to pick up some scrap Wow it's old-school fan look at that Wow maybe worth something interesting and rained on [Music] Wow that's what the train sounds like one it's starting to move I think so it's a VCR DVD player I did a little bit of cleaning up here I had all my pallets and stuff got my wire horde over here so I'm back in Illinois for a couple of days before I have to make a trip out to Las Vegas to stay a little bit longer an extended stay what's up Dino and so I'm gonna take a trip to the scrap yard right now and I got a package from my friend we'll open that here in a second so what I think I'm gonna do is go for up just a little scrap route and then just a little scrapper out and we'll see what's out there yeah all kinds of stuff here that is a pile that pile was frozen for I don't know four months all right normally don't open up on camera but my friend how you sent me Apache but you know what I want you to open you up and thank you for the the PayPal tip jars I've gotten seven since my this is my emergency trip to see my mom in Las Vegas and totaling 200 really really awesome okay that is my shirt double XL blaze orange my favorite color greens right there look right she is awesome and you know who you are thank you I'll bet this is swung many a baby all right trucks full next now this is a duplex the right side this is empty so I thought I would take a quick peek from the sidewalk here I saw this you know Paul that's private property yeah that's not going into the landfill it's not gonna get look at all these bags what are these it's a lot of bags seasonal produce 50 bags or so Wow now with this block stuff buried in here oh my gosh yeah old house Lowe's house hold of stuff in there Wow gonna reach it can you use the beer bottle as a tool I can't maybe maybe not [Applause] come here cometh hither it is colder than it should be here in April hey there's an X in charred debris it's a music stand no the mailbox it's a music box [Music] you know the garbage can wants the scrap Wow that is awesome [Music] I see some metal really okay she's going with this until I have two hands here thank you a screen the goodies down there some vinyl there's some metal there but it's more vital than anything else what about you sure what you are there's something there I think so I just got the phone with the nurse at the ICU in Las Vegas intensive care you know where my mom is and she said that she's about the same so so I'm here in Illinois for a few days to take care of some business and yeah a little bit of free time so I thought you some trash bacon and so I'll be heading back out there and I want to say thank you for all of its hundreds and hundreds of comments with well wishes for my mother it's an interesting little latch system hey add it to the pile I wonder how does he work what are you latching it to we were there was something here not quite sure oh it's a little male a little metal yep I had a suitcase and a chest like this that I thought I could sell and I had it for I don't know two months on the first cell site and it never sold I dropped the price room 20 bucks to 15 minutes down to three dollars I had listed there for like two or three weeks for three bucks never sold that's some serious old-school printer Wow scanner see much more mental anything else papers to lift in it nothing's beefy what Oh milky look the garbage man's been here already I like no yeah that's a plastic top yeah it's a metal ring but the plastic top to this thing I'm gonna stay and play nice looks like someone tried to take the top off already yeah I'm not messing those little these things cause me so much hassle yeah they're different than I thought Oh mine I'll take you I had that one four or five videos ago I had a big old pile and I had the the garden fencing and it was just like a net to tangled everything looks like a metal door I think it is there's Duffy somebody so yeah it's uh you know I seem old so it's nice I'm going back I think I said that last time but I've got a few things I didn't you take care of here hang some bills and did some stuff squared away because going back to Las Vegas for a period of time an indefinite period of time so I can't just stay there so I'll be here for a night exactly sure yeah that piece of glass though all right where are you gonna go do some rearranging here yep we're just gonna go flat I'm after you some complete rearranging hmm I'm not even sure if I was making sense a second ago being attention-deficit it's hard for me to talk and do things at the same time and what I was meaning to say is that I had to come back here take care of some stuff and it was interesting being in Las Vegas that I had to deal with stuff just on a daily basis just like one day out so that whole prayer of you know Lord give me this day my daily bread that's pretty much how it worked I think these are metal oh yeah awesome when I was talking my last clip I wasn't able to thoughts out it's just strange it's one thing having a family emergency definitely can change all the thought processes can't get Converse right really strange so how are you guys doing what's going on in your world this channel it's not all about me it's about you two to all the you turns toxic cool if it's a scrap out you need this aluminum yeah this was in the bathroom a little bit alright think of a head to my house take care of some of this wire take the aluminum off maybe zigzag towards my house maybe hit a few more scrap piles I'll bet it's steel se rust if and it's heavier than it looks where you going see something over here as well what's going on over here oh yeah one metal no you would see staples in the wood I think it's a picker it is a picker you got the trunk open and everything [Music] oh yeah he's picking he's got a big old TV in the back of his car yeah that's the real deal right there easy to get that five dollars was the copyright of that TV yes he is good has some garbage picking the Raa Club is right up here and yeah it starts in 13 minutes yeah I'm gonna go to a meeting yep oh man a a groups are amazing you know there's nothing like going to a place where not only other people can just talk invantive let some stuff out but I'm able to talk and vent let stuff out there's no interruptions and I'm around a safe group of people I'm not even sure if this is metal or plastic plastic oh yeah it's all plastic okay all right so I'm going to take some of this aluminum stuff off now go to the scrapyard what if this tangled mess is gonna keep me from going on here so my plan is to get the aluminum off the wire off I'm gonna take some of these pieces I know there's a brass piece right there yeah all right sure is peaceful here I like it alright I'm gonna have to take care of Las Vegas there's no rain alright so got that aluminum piece off I think this window just comes out yeah I should take it out right there at the curb right now this guy is aluminum just take the pieces off there we'll be good all right it's just the corners right hey train [Music] screw it in somehow can't [Music] I'd hear their summer maybe that those screws yes there's four yep 234 all right how things just fall apart these screws going everywhere all of them right now that's probably a different kind of aluminum yeah I'm gonna get mad about all these screws I don't think they're aluminum screws up for a second [Music] [Music] good enough I've had a few of comments asking do I do with the with the insulated copper wire and I sell it to the scrapyard it matters if it's um if it's has the plug on the end to my scrap yards don't care one of them does but the one that once the plugs taken off actually has the least best price is the worst price [Music] that's why I'm not gonna take the plugs off and then get a even worse price then I leave the plugs on I go to a different scrapyard actually get more than 20 cents a pound for just like that so all right that's all gonna go [Music] I am just shows I'm not thinking clearly that's why I need meetings yeah it's you know it's just a lot on my mind you know anyway that's dealt with a sick relative especially a sick mom it takes a lot off lot off of a focus that's for sure right in a wire bucket one if this is more hassle than it's worth that's like a there's a putty in there I guess purple ones are power cables seems like cuz they're bypassing now is this number two in firewire is this just some consider junk wire this stuff seems a lot thicker so these are the 220 or 110 whatever it is coming in here probably 220 [Music] are you going is it just in the box there okay some believe the alone I'm here for right now and now I'm gonna do a separate aluminum run it might be on a different day but let's go do some trip to the scrap yard alright let's see how much we weigh and I see four thousand pounds but thirty nine eighty four thousand its kind of going back and forth hmm about right here I'm not I'm right over too much stuff right yeah we have to pay five dollars for item that has freon in it to get the freon taken out at this scrapyard so the other two don't charge they just want you to let them know so they're not and they actually do it I know I had one commenter say I've never heard anybody taking freon out they just load up in the truck and as a scrapper he doesn't know I mean it might be true but he doesn't know it's true that make any sense tangled mess here the mailbox it's awesome kind of like the music stand [Music] [Music] [Applause] roll a dice is that how it works okay so just roll it that's it yep you why six okay ready like I'm in Vegas before yes are those the number of cents addition to I'll pretend all right so $99 a net town so went down a little bit huh for all the dice all right cool thank you very much I'll see you later so $99 a net ton so 280 pounds at $13 and 86 cents Wow scrappers got it a couple a card or a hood ride so I'm talking about so kind of a slow start yeah it's the way it works God I trust you I don't believe in you God I believe you God hmm it's been a tough week but I believe you got all right good Lord would you just bless us well you have us to continue to look to you for answers Lord I I I'm grateful for the serenity prayer that I've been saying 1015 times a day for the last week Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference living one day at a time enjoying one moment at a time accepting hardship as a pathway to peace taking as Jesus did the sinful world as it is not as I would have it but trusting that you will make all things right I surrender to your will in this life and
